How I Spent My Summer Vacation The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. 每次一吃完饭，老爸和爷爷就抽起了烟，泡起了茶。妈妈总是批评老爸：“饭才刚刚吃完，就抽烟喝茶，对身体不好知不知道！成何体统！”“哎呀，饭后一支烟赛过活神仙！”

老爸每次都这样回答。妈妈当然不会就此罢休，把老爸从椅子上揪起来，用命令的口吻道：“给我洗碗去！”老爸会嬉皮笑脸地说：“老婆大人，孩子她妈，别激动，莫生气，听你老公说，俗话说，‘男做女工，气死祖宗’。你懂的，我可是一个孝顺的人啊，所以……”还没说完，就开始往后挪步，瞬间转身回房去了，“啪”地关上房门。我和爷爷在一旁笑得合不拢嘴。妈妈一看过来，我们就立刻停止笑声，绷着脸不敢笑。只见妈妈气急败坏地说：“这是个懒虫！自己懒还扯到祖宗那里去！真是后悔当初嫁错人了啊！”还对爷爷撒娇地说“爸，你倒是评评理啊，你看看你儿子做得对不对啊，都不管管你儿子！”我爷爷可是很机智的，遇到这种妈妈撒气撒娇的时候，一般都像个没事人一样边回房边唱：“大河向东流啊。”我呢，早就偷偷溜回房间偷笑去了。
