Most people miss their grade school days and think they are the happiest time of their life, but whenever I recall them I cannot help feeling a little sad. In my young days I disliked any dismal atmosphere and could not bear the feeling of loneliness, yet the fact was that I often lived in a dismal home and frequently had the bitter taste of lonesomeness. I was not cheerful even in the company of my classmates at the grade school I attended. The Spring Festival, the most jubilant and important festival in China, is observed by most Chinese people at home and abroad. Our hometown is not an exception.

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

On the New Year’s Eve, the whole family sits around, having a

sumptuous feast of reunion. It is worth mentioning that the food we have called maiyouzhi is unique. There is a flat piece of wheat sheet covering various vegetable and meat then rolling them up. What a delicious it is! After dinner, the family always watches the Spring Festival Gala Evening, and sets up fireworks to watch in the New Year.

On the first day of the New Year, people pay visits to the relatives and friends to send New Year’s greetings to each other and wish everything smoothly in the new year. The kids can get a lot of lucky money from the elders.

During the whole holiday, there are varied activities in the town such as lion and dragon dance, and all the citizens enjoy them very much.

My College Life

How time flies! I have been in Zhejiang Gongshang University for a semester. In retrospect, my college life is busy but colorful. Different from my senior high school’s life, the whole new life I led is much freer. I arranged my time,

becoming the master of myself.

First of all, study is still the core of my life. I major in Japanese which is both interesting and challenging. We are required to be accomplished in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. As a result I had to spend most of time in improving my abilities. Besides of the regular courses, I often attended the lecture and went to the library to eich my knowledge, and I do benefit from what I learnt.

As to the after school life, what I consider most meaningful is joining the YVP to serve society. I think it is the responsibility for every university student to make contribution to the community. Little as my effort is, I tried my best to help the people around us. Once the YVP organized us to sell secondhand books and raise the money to help the people indeed.

In addition, I quite enjoy the travels and the bees. Travels let me experience the sunshine, fresh air as well as the special taste of the local customs and practices. While the bees keep the friendship shining, and friends are as if family members. Both of them lit up my life.

All in all, the college life is a journey, and I have long way to go; all the memory is the most precious treasure, and I will value every moment.

My home have a better, she is my mothers grandmother, a 97 - year - old, has been living in the center of the NingXi endowment, client care. Our family is going to go and see her. Along the way, I wonder: how old is she?

We came to the pension center, I saw many sunshine old man sitting in the courtyard, small eyes staring at us. Mom took me to a wheelchair, necking, cried: "grandma! We came back to see you!" I carefully looked at my grandma, she with white hair and wrinkled face, staring at us and smiling, pale hand pull me, uttered not dumb clearly in mouth: "who are you?" I, with a smile sweetly said: "I am too grandma, you dont know me? How are you now?" "Good! Good! I eat well, live well! Health!" Her with the wave, proudly said, "you dont have to worry about me."

I heard that too grandma compared to previous years, although the ear also very spirit, but the life cannot provide for oneself, want to rely on a wheelchair step the progenies, speak also some hard, still couldnt figure it out to see who she is. Every time someone come, she always pulls people chat, total want to come up with something to eat, to make the others eat, more and more like a naive child.

While they are in chat, I looked the yard of the other old men, some of them in the chat, some in silence in the sunshine, smiling looking at us. I think: if they miss their loved ones in? I hurriedly bring fruit among them to eat. They were very polite dodgery, eat up satisfactorily.

The setting sun is going to down the mountain, we reluctantly bade farewell, "too grandma, we come to see you again next time." I said. "Well, come again next time." Too grandma SOB to say. With his sleeves secretly wiped the tears is eyeful. Our heart suddenly hard up, determined to more time to accompany her next time.

我家有一位老寿星，她是我妈妈的奶奶，有97岁高龄了，一直住在宁溪养老中心，托人照顾。我们全家打算去看看她。一路上，我在想：她是怎样的老人呢?

我们来到了养老中心，只见院子里坐着许多晒太阳的老人，一个个目不转睛的注视着我们。妈妈带着我来到一张轮椅旁，亲热的喊了一声：“奶奶!我们回来看您了!”我仔细的打量着我的太奶奶，只见她满头白发，脸上布满皱纹，笑眯眯地盯着我们，伸出苍白的手用力拉住我，嘴里发出不清晰地哑声：“你是谁呀?”我笑着，甜甜地说：“我的太奶奶，您不认识我了吗?您现在身体好吗?”“好!好!我吃的好，住的好!身体也好!”她摆了摆手，自豪地说，“你们不用担心我。”

我听说太奶奶和前几年相比，虽然耳朵还很灵，但是生活已不能自理，要靠轮椅子代步了，说话也有些吃力，还认不清看她的是谁了。每次有人来，她总要拉住人聊天不放，总要拿出一些吃的东西，逗着别人吃，越来越像天真的小孩子了。

趁着她们在聊天，我瞧了瞧院子的其他老人，他们有的在聊天，有的在默默地晒太阳，有的微笑的打量着我们。我想：他们是否在想念他们的亲人呢?我赶紧带来的水果分给他们吃。他们很客气的推托后，满意地吃了起来。

夕阳快要下山了，我们依依不舍地告别，“太奶奶，我们下次再来看您。”我说。“好好，下次再来。”太奶奶哽咽着说。偷偷地用衣袖擦去已是满眶的泪水。我们的心一下子沉痛起来，下定决心下次要多些时间来陪伴她。

以前爸爸妈妈很忙，很少休息，我一直盼望着过双休日，和爸爸妈妈好好享受一下家庭生活。机会终于来了！

星期六的早上，我们吃过早饭，妈妈就说：“中午我们要好好吃一顿大餐！”收拾过餐桌，妈妈就大步流星的去了菜市场。等妈妈回来，她手里提着排骨、大鱼、白菜、鸡腿……

妈妈对我和爸爸说：“我们分工，爸爸杀鱼、剁肉，你和我择菜、洗菜。”我连声叫好。然后我拿起辣椒一挤，一颗辣椒籽蹦到了我的眼里，顿时我就辣得眼泪直流。爸爸妈妈看到我这样乐得“咯咯”直笑，于是我就放下辣椒去择青菜，爸爸则拿起刀帮鱼脱掉银铠甲，忙了一上午，妈妈终于要做饭了。闻到饭香我和爸爸就坐不住了，立刻冲到了厨房，吃着我亲手择的菜，我心里开心极了！

爸爸看我这么开心，就对妈妈说：“以后我们可得多陪陪孩子，让他快乐成长。”这就是我的家庭生活，非常温馨吧？

今天下午，我对爸爸说：“爸爸我们一起下象棋吧。”爸爸说：“好，看我怎么打败你。”

于是我和爸爸开始摆棋，我对妈妈说：“妈妈，你来帮帮我。”妈妈说：“行，我来帮你。”棋摆好了之后，我先走，因为我是红子。我先把炮走到兵后面，把炮口对准了爸爸的兵，这是当头炮。爸爸早已想到了对付我的办法。他把马一跳，就看住了小兵，让我不敢轻举妄动，因为我的炮一旦打了他的小兵，他的马就会跳过来把我的炮吃掉。于是我也先把马跳走，让我的大将车出动，妈妈说：“你是想用车把你爸爸的马赶走，然后再吃了小兵是嘛?”我说：“妈妈，你真聪明，我就是想这样杀他个措手不及。”爸爸说：“看来我要小心点了。”于是爸爸也出动了车看住他的马。防止我突然袭击把他的马和兵杀掉用双炮将，我只能杀掉其他的小兵了，于是我开始了我的攻势，先杀掉其他的小兵，再来杀掉中心卒，要不然我的结果就是死路一条。

爸爸也尽量用其他的棋来保护这些小兵，结果小兵还是被我一一杀掉了。我接下来就是想办法杀掉中心卒，我左思右想终于想出了办法。我让我的小兵全部过河，然后再动用我的中心卒来杀掉它。终于我把他的小兵杀死了，然后用双炮将结束了这场战斗。爸爸说：“我输的心服口服，你可真厉害呀!”

这天真高兴。

When I was young at high school,I couldnt stop dreaming about my college life again and again.Suffering too much pressure form college entrance test,I always admired college students for their relaxed life in college.

In my personal opinion,living in university is  an enjoyment.Every day we can open our eyes naturally,and put on clothes in our own style without warring about teachers rigid control.Communicating with great master is no longer beyond our reach.Each course we take can be a feast for our mind and soul.After class,we will lead a rich and colorful life filled with various leisure activities such as .Library in  university is another factor I pursue.I think its an access to enhancing our comprehensive abilities to read even just scan all  sorts of

writings.Whats more,we will have so much disposable time that we can do whatever worthy.And our contact group will be extended signally via organizing and participating many activities.All in all,I once imagined that I can live a life that is substantial but meaningful.

However,I just have to admit that what I just describe is really dream.Now living in SD I cant figure out what I pursue and make a feasible career planning.So many young cynics in this schoolyard  argue for something meaningless.Worse still,the academic atmosphere has already done with nothing left.I havent found a busy but rich thing to try my best.As a matter of fact,I even cant choose a lifestyle I prefer.What a tragedy it is between dream and reality.
