那是在上学期暑假里的一个星期天上午，我正在房间里看书，忽然听见阳台上传来妈妈的大喊声：“柯宇凡，快来看哪，这里有一只奇怪的大虫！”我的好奇心是最强的，听了这话赶忙跑了过去。到阳台上一看，妈妈正放下手上要晒的衣服，盯着墙上看。我仔细观察了一下，墙上果然趴着一只大虫子，深褐色的长身子，肚子上有几道暗黄色的条纹，还有一对深色的翅膀。妈妈对我说：“你暑假作业不是要写很多日记吗，我把这只虫子捉住，给你提供一个素材，写一篇观察日记吧！”我正要提醒妈妈这只虫子好像是马蜂，闻声赶来的爸爸已经在我身后先开口了：“别傻了！这是只野蜂，和蜜蜂一样有刺的，惹怒了它，会扎你的！”可胆大的妈妈却满不在乎地说道：“不是的吧！蜂类好像都是黄色的，这只虫子不像，你别吓唬我了，我们这儿又不是野外，哪来的野蜂？就算它真是野蜂，我也不怕。你看我怎么把这小东西收拾了！”说完，妈妈把右手套上个塑料袋，左手拿起叉衣棍，对那只大虫发起了“进攻”。可不知是由于阳台是封闭的，还是那只野蜂故意要逗妈妈，它在阳台上飞来绕去就是赶不走。妈妈张牙舞爪地和它大战了几十个回合的地方也没占上风，那模样活像堂吉诃德大战风车，我和爸爸又想乐，又怕妈妈被伤着了，劝妈妈“别赶了！”妈妈气呼呼地把我和爸爸推进房间，关上阳台门，嘴里还嚷着：“我还不信这个邪咧！非把你收拾了！”爸爸无可奈何地笑着对我说：“你妈非吃点亏才会后悔的！”话刚说完不久，就听见了妈妈“啊！”的一声惨叫我们又赶回阳台，看到妈妈满头大汗正用左手死死地捏着右手的中指，咧着嘴直喊疼，原来她真的被那野蜂给蛰了。“吃亏了吧？”爸爸一边拉着妈妈去处理伤口，一边念叨着“不听老公言，吃亏在眼前啊！”边说边偷偷冲我做了个鬼脸，妈妈这时像个做错了事的小孩，红着脸不吭声了，只顾小声哼哼着“疼”．．．．．

这就是发生在我家的一件趣事，它让我明白了有些时候不能盲目地逞强，还让我发现了好强的妈妈可爱的另一面，怎么样！有趣吧！
