My father is an engineer,nearly fifty years old.As a Party member,quite often he works late into the night.He even forgets himself when he is reading.Once when having supper,I found that the soup tasted watery.It soon became clear that my father,deep in his reading,had forgotten to put salt in the soup.

I have a kind mother.She is a primary school teacher.She loves her pupils and her job very much and puts all her heart into her work.All our clothes are made by tailors,for she is too busy to sew for us.As a housewife,she has to do almost all the housework.So she is the busiest one in our family.

We all keep a lot of books and we love reading.During our leisure time,reading is our main hobby.Evening is the happiest hour in our family.We usually sit in my parents room,reading and discussing everything were interested in.

I love my family.It not only gives me much happiness and warmth but also teaches me how to be a real man.

With time goes by， it becomes a bit hard for me to remember everything about myself at the first day of my college life。 However， there was one thing for sure that I did feel quite excited and curious about my university。 There is no doubt that students like me have struggled for a long time so that can be permitted to enter the university。

随着时间的流逝，记得在我的第一天大学生活对我来说变得有点困难了。然而，有一点是肯定的，我对大学真的感到很兴奋很好奇。毫无疑问，很多像我这样努力了很长时间才可以进入大学的学生。

Look! This is my family. It’s a big and happy family.

This is my father. He’s a doctor. He’s strong and cool. He likes painting. He always plays with me at home. The woman in black is my mother. She’s an English teacher. Her English is very good. She like her students and her students like her, too. She’s tall and quiet. She likes shopping. She often buys nice clothes for me. My aunt is a driver. She has long hair and big eyes. She likes shopping, too. And this is my uncle. He’s a worker. He’s strong and tall. Books are his good friends. Look at this lovely girl! Who is she? Ha, Ha! It’s me. I’m a cute girl. I’m tall and a little fat. I’m a student. I like reading, singing. dancing and acting. I’m going to be a hostess.

家到底是什么?季羡林在病重出院后就发出过感慨。在我看来，家就是产生欢乐的地方。家庭生活是一支快乐，幽默的歌。

“老爸，我回来了!”我刚进家门，一面脱鞋，一面喊道。“怎么样?有没有挨老师的骂呀!昨天的数学考试及格了吗?”“什么呀，我怎么能不及格呢?我打了94!”“呦，有吹牛了吧!”“好了，哪有那么多时间拌嘴玩，快，快，脱衣服，吃饭，吹号，写作业，复习!”“哎……”

每一天，能够与父母相处的时间最多也只有二、三个小时，而在这期间，父母则变着花样让我感到家的温暖。

“开饭喽!”我一边甩着手上的水，一边喊“吃什么呀?”“今天咱们吃珍珠粒!”我揭开锅一看，原来是一锅白花花的大米饭。再看菜，原来是我最爱的柿子炒鸡蛋。我一口气吃了二碗饭，妈妈假装心疼的说:“唉，养不起啊……”我做了个鬼脸，钻入卧室，找我的黑管，吹号……

“四小天鹅”是我最喜欢的曲子，总是把它当作吹黑管的最后一支曲子。这时，父母已经吃完饭，洗过碗了。听到这支曲子，就钻进屋中，跳起四小天鹅。要想继续伴奏，只能转过身去，否则，我一定会笑的喘不过气的，父亲与我差不多高，却是一个160多斤的胖子，跳起四小天鹅，未免有些搞笑的意味。我便伴着欢乐，揣着快活的心情，开始了晚上的学习。

虽然经过我不厌其烦的劝说，父母还是没有为我发下“熬夜通行证”刚到十点，妈妈就出来了，催着我洗脸，我总是找借口再拖二十分钟。到最后，被老爸像拎小鸡一样从座位上拎起，放在卫生间里。不得已，只能结束一天的学习了。

我的家庭生活像一支歌，一支无止境的，快乐的歌，我沐浴在这支歌中，快乐的成长。

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation。 They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily。 I can do many interesting things there。 I am used to getting up early in the morning and breathing the fresh air in the countryside。 After snow， I would like to skate and ski with my friends。 When night comes， I am used to sitting by the fire and listening to grandma telling me many funny stories。 And I tell her some new things happening in the city。 When I have to go back， I am always reluctant to go。 I really feel happy living in the country。

寒假期间我经常去看望我的爷爷奶奶。他们都已经70岁了，住在乡下。我可以在那里做很多有趣的事情。我习惯一大清早起床呼吸乡下的新鲜空气。下雪后，我喜欢跟同伴们一起滑雪滑冰。夜幕降临时，我就坐在火炉边，听奶奶讲动听的故事。我也会给她讲一些城里的新鲜事。每次该回城时，我总是恋恋不舍。我确实喜欢乡下的生活。

[我的寒假生活英语日记

一年有四季，我家也有四季。

妈妈是春天。她总是在我最需要帮助的时候鼓励我，如和煦的春风。有一次，我一个人在家看书，正当我读得津津有味的时候，突然有一个字不认识，我赶紧翻字典。可是这位“老师”好像和我捉迷藏，怎么找也找不到，气得我直跺脚。这时，妈妈正好回来了，见我眉头紧皱的样子，便问：“怎么啦，谁又惹你不高兴啦？”“有个字不认识，字典又找不到，真气人！”我气急败坏地说。“就这么点儿事，我来教你。”妈妈温和地说。奇了！妈妈一来，“老师”便显了原形，乖乖地让妈妈找到了。妈妈的出现，真是乌云遇春风呀！

我的脾气就像夏天，变化无常，时而风，时而雨。你看，刚才我还是万里无云，这时却刮起了风，下起了暴雨。“谁把我的作文书拿走了？哥，是不是你？快说！”我厉声说道。“谁拿你的书了？”哥哥满不在乎地说。“就是你拿的，快拿来！”“你不要冤枉好人，谁拿你的作文书啦，你看是不是掉到床底下了。”听了哥哥的话，我趴在地上一看，作文书果然乖乖地躺在床底下。我的气顿时消了一大半，脸上立马阳光灿烂。“好哥哥，对不起，是我没弄清楚就冤枉你，不要生气啦！”我赶紧赔礼道歉。哥哥看着判若两人的我，哭笑不得。

哥哥和我不大一样，他的性格就像是秋天的落叶，总是不愿表现自己，永远那么深沉。这样一来，就创造了我欺负他的机会。那天，我对哥哥说：“哥，咱们玩‘石头、剪子、布’，谁输了谁唱歌，怎么样？”哥哥开始不愿意，但在我的威逼下，只好同意了。“石头、剪子、布、剪子、石头、布……”，我们玩了起来。开始我老是唱歌，后来我灵机一动，想出了一个“高招”：我先看着哥哥出完，再迅速地改变手势。可是，第一次捣鬼，就被哥哥的火眼金睛识破了。我晃着头说：“怎么不算，我出的就是剪子。”哥哥拗不过我，只好唱歌。

而爸爸就是冬天里的一把火，驱赶寒冷，把温暖带给我们。每天早上上学的时候，爸爸总是摸摸我的头，说：“好好听老师讲课。”放学回家，爸爸又会拍着我的肩膀说：“老师讲的，听明白了吗？”虽然话短，我却感受到了爸爸对我深深的爱。有一次下大雪后，路不好走，又刮起了风。爸爸就背着我从家走到学校。寒风依旧刮着，我却觉得一点儿也不冷，因为爸爸的背既结实又温暖。

这就是我们幸福的一家人。

When someone disagrees with you or offends you, don’t lose your temper. Why? Because it is of no use to do so. You ought to (should) be patient and keep calm lest you should quarrel with him. You must know that patience is not cowardice, but a virtue. I hope that everybody practices it.

In addition, patience will also bring us success. When you meet with difficulties in your work, it is no use losing heart. You must keep on fighting until (till) the final victory belongs to you.
