Last summer, intolerable heat, so mom and Dad brought our family went to see the ice sculpture museum.

As soon as we walked into the ice sculpture museum, we felt the chill of the inside, and I knew it was only minus six degrees Celsius. Were just like going into a big fridge. When the Nanjing Arts Institute professional examination scores down, the provinces fifth results did not bring me joy. I am still in learning, in practice, a tiny bit are not slack. The teacher said, "you have got a good result in the cultural class. Why do you want to do art?" Students say: your violin level already by the China Conservatory of Music grade 8 examination, why practicing until late at night? I dont know how to answer. I just have to try and even try my best. In order to dream, in order to be able to enter the University hall.

Finally, my dream came true. I love art, but I love Chinese language and literature more. Although I gave up art, but art has shed sweat and no waste, because art is able to help us better understand the literature, literature and art combined with each other, a beautiful flower, bear the fruit of happiness.

Im in my third year now in Environmental Sciences. And what do I want to do with my B.S. once I graduate? Become a librarian. Yes, I know it sounds completely random and unrelated, but thats my master plan. Right now Im preparing for all those crazy grad school applications that Ill be sending in next fall. I began thinking about what kind of skills I have and what kind of jobs would complement my natural interests. Ive thought about becoming a librarian dozens of times growing up but for some strange reason, I never took it seriously. But it popped back into my mind as I was contemplating all this. So I began to do some research and I also talked to a lot of family and friends. Its crazy because everyone I shared with gave me a lot of affirmation and encouragement about pursuing it! If theres anything you can get out of my strange journey I hope its the comfort and reassurance that you dont always have to know what you want to do in the near future. And its okay to change majors or even pursue a major that may not necessarily be related to your future career. You should enjoy what youre studying. But also seek after what you really love.
