我拎着水桶去找水，走了十分钟，终于看见一条小溪。我从溪水里捞起满满一桶清清的水，然后拎着水桶跑回树下浇水。刘庆龙也跑来帮我，我们来回拎了好几桶水，老师当场表扬了我俩。我们虽然很累，但是很高兴，因为我们为绿化祖国做出了贡献。

愿天下所有人都种一棵小树，看着他们长大，那多么有趣!让我们都来植树，人人都有绿色意识，只有这样，我们的社会才会和谐，地球的未来一定是绿色的!

the first arbor day took place on april 10, 1872 in nebraska. it was the brainchild of julius sterling morton (1832-20XX), a nebraska journalist and politician originally from michigan. throughout his long and productive career, morton worked to improve agricultural techniques in his adopted state and throughout the united states when he served as president grover clevelands secretary of agriculture. but his most important legacy is arbor day.

morton (photo, right) felt that nebraskas landscape and economy would benefit from the wide-scale planting of trees. he set an example himself planting orchards, shade trees and wind breaks on his own farm and he urged his neighbours to follow suit. mortons real opportunity, though, arrived when he became a member of nebraskas state board of agriculture. he proposed that a special day be set aside dedicated to tree planting and increasing awareness of the importance of trees. nebraskas first arbor day was an amazing success. more than one million trees were planted. a second arbor day took place in 1884 and the young state made it an annual legal holiday in 1885, using april 22nd to coincide with mortons birthday.

in the years following that first arbor day, mortons idea spread beyond nebraska with kansas, tennessee, minnesota and ohio all proclaiming their own arbor days. today all 50 states celebrate arbor day although the dates may vary in keeping with the local climate. (state arbor days) at the federal level, in 20XX, president richard nixon proclaimed the last friday in april as national arbor day. arbor day is also now celebrated in other countries including australia. variations are celebrated as greening week of japan, the new years days of trees in israel, the tree-loving week of korea, the reforestation week of yugoslavia, the students afforestation day of iceland and the national festival of tree planting in india. julius sterling morton would be proud. sometimes one good idea can make a real difference.

for the homeowner, arbor day is an excellent opportunity to take stock of the trees on your property and plan for the future. inspect your trees. note any broken branches or evidence of disease or insect infestation. think about how planting new trees might improve the look of your property or provide wind or heat protection. take a trip to your local nursery to see whats available and to get new ideas. walk around your neighbourhood. are there any public areas where tree planting or tree maintenance might make a real difference to your community? talk with your neighbours. find out what their opinions are. and, oh yes, plant a tree.

It was fine on March 12 ,2001 .I got up early that day .All the students in our school went to the hill to plant trees .

We arrived at the hill at eight oclock .The teacher asked each of us to plant at least six trees .Then we started digging ,planting and watering .We all worked so hard that we could finish our tasks ahead of tim e .Among us ,Wang Lin ,our monitor set a good example for us .Though he was ill ,he worked harder .When he finished his task ,he went on to help others without even a little rest .He was wet all over after work .“ I must learn from him ,” I said to myself .Looking at the lines of the young trees ,we smiled happily ,forgetting our tiredness

Another year spring comes, the nature of all things recovery and prosperity. On March 12, that is a green environment, looking forward to the green water castle peak, calling peoples special day, Arbor Day care for the environment. I will praise the green, because of the algae to the towering trees, just waste of the earth vibrant, just have the animal, is the human.

China is a country of green area is very low, less than half the worlds average level. Amount of wood cut down but, our country is the worlds first, forest area is decreasing. So we should cherish the green life, care for the green. Starts from oneself, start from the side, we should not only save paper, use less disposable chopsticks, more want great the planting, greening the motherland. As a primary school student not only should we do for campus planted a small tree, to add a flower garden, doused with a pot of water to sod. Should be to protect the campus beautiful environment and urban landscape out of a strength, a duty.

Im looking forward to one day, the clear river roaming the fish, swim in the clear brook happily drip, birds and singing in the branches, silent spring is no longer silent. Looking forward to one day, raging flood growling, no longer scorching heat wave is no longer. 又是一年春来到，带来了大自然的万物复苏和欣欣向荣。3月12日，那是一个营造绿色环境，期待绿水青山，呼唤人们爱护环境的特别日子——植树节。我要赞美绿色，因为有了藻类到参天大树，才使荒芜的地球生机勃勃，才有了动物，才有了人类。

我国是一个绿化面积很低的国家，不到世界平均水平的一半。但是，我国的木材的砍伐量却是世界第一，森林面积不断减少。所以我们更应该珍惜绿色生命，爱护绿化。从自己做起，从身边做起，我们不仅要节约纸张，少用一次性筷子之外，更要多多植树，绿化祖国。作为一名小学生我们不仅应该做到为校园栽上一棵小树，给花圃增添一朵鲜花，为草皮浇上一盆清水。更应该为保护校园美丽的环境和城市景色出一份力气，尽一点责任。

我期待有一天，清澈的河流漫游着鱼群，在清澈的小河里欢快游淌，鸟儿在枝头放声鸣唱，寂静的春天不再寂静。期待有一天，狂暴的洪水不再咆哮，灼人的热浪不再肆虐。期待有一天，每一个山谷都盛开希望之花，每一条小溪都跳着欢乐之舞，所有的荒原都变成绿洲，所有的生命都得到上天的关爱和人类的善待。

March 12 the Arbor Day arrived, the weather is very sunny. The flowers opened, the grass out a small head, willow leaves are long out of the small bud. In this beautiful spring, little red carrying a bucket, carrying a shovel to go to plant trees on the hill. Asked the little butterfly saw playing in the mountain: "little red, you where to go so early?" "I went to the hill to plant trees." Said the little red. Practice flying bird asked: "early, little red, where to go?" "I went to the hill to plant trees." Said the little red. "Said the little red said, and reached the top of the hill.

Little red carrying shovels dug a hole in the ground, and then put the saplings in. Then the mud up to saplings, and finally, to saplings pour a bucket of water. Ah! Small tree, small red around the tree and sing and dance.

Little red on the way home and met a bird, the bird said, "thank you, little red!" , the small red oddly ask: "why do you thank me?" The bird said: "you planted a tree ah! Later, I want to move to the tree, so, thank you." Little red said: "dont mention it! Today is the Arbor Day, many people are planting trees!" The bird happily say with smile: "thank humans build a beautiful home for us."

三月十二日的植树节到了，天气非常晴朗。花儿开了，小草探出了小脑袋，柳树叶也长出了小芽。在这美好的春天里，小红拎着水桶，拿着铲子到山上去植树。在山上玩耍的小蝴蝶看见了问：“小红，你这么早到哪儿去呀?”“我到山上去植树。”小红说。练习飞行的小鸟问：“早呀，小红，到哪儿去呀?”“我到山上去植树。”小红说。说着说着，小红到了山顶。

小红拿着铲子在地上挖了一个坑，然后把小树苗放进去。接着又给小树苗培上了泥土，最后，给小树苗浇上一桶水了。啊!小树苗种好了，小红围着小树又唱又跳。

小红在回家的路上又遇到了小鸟，小鸟说：“谢谢你，小红!”，小红奇怪地问：“你为什么要谢我?”小鸟说：“你植了树呀!以后，我要把家搬到树上去，所以，要谢谢你。”小红说：“不用谢!今天是植树节，好多人都在植树呀!”小鸟开心地笑着说：“感谢人类为我们建造美丽的家园。”
