it comes to autumn, all leaves turn to yellow gradually. At that time, the

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. 《Goforit》七年级下册共14个单元，包括2个复习单元。全书采用任务型语言教学模式，融汇话题、交际功能和语言结构，形成了一套循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。每个单元都列出明确的语言目标，主要的功能项目与语法结构，需要掌握的基本词汇，并分为A、B两部分。A部分是基本的语言内容，B部分是知识的扩展和综合的语言运用。每个单元还有selfcheck部分，供学生自我检测本单元所学的语言知识。它采用“语言的输入---学生的消化吸收---学生的语言输出”为主线编排的。

四、教学目标

掌握本册书上的重点词汇、词组以及句型。通过本学期的学习，培养学生对英语的学习兴趣，形成有效的学习策略，有效提高学习效率，发展双基能力;培养听、说、读、写的能力，使学生初步获得运用英语的能力，达到语言运用能力的迁移和拓展;通过了解世界，了解不同地区的人文风俗，学会理解和尊重异国文化，并使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人，能在小组活动中积极与他人合作，相互帮助，共同完成学习任务，尽情享受学习的乐趣。

五、教学措施

理想是好的,是快乐的,是成功的起点。我认为,每个学生都有一个美好的理想,问我的理想是什么,我会说:“我的理想是当一个央视新闻工作者”。问我为什么有这样的理想,因为这来源于生活。“央视新闻联播”是我们中国重要的新闻,不仅我们整个国家的人民,有许多外国人会看到,所以职业代表着中国形象和语言水平。还有一个原因:这个工作可以使我们的国家人民访问到最新的新闻及了解我们中国的政治关系。以这样工作的方式来偿还我们伟大的祖国母亲。理想的背后是十万年的努力和困难的挑战。在未来的日子里,我将尽我最大的努力学习文化,学习知识,学习改善这些方面,展示自我,挑战更高的领域,如果你想要成功,必须修复它的身体,像一根蜡烛,你想烧掉它,必须有一场比赛,对手是我们的努力。理想是生命,在我们心中播下了年轻;理想是鞭子,让我们努力工作,我的理想是当一个央视新闻工作者,这是我的人生目标。

What impresses me most in Beijing is the Great Wall which is one of the

greatest projects in the world.

Its not only the cultural heritage, but also a symbol of China. "Its

glorious." I think. It looks like a big dragon running across the mountainous

area. It starts Shanhaiguan in the east to Jiayuguan in the west.Its so long that nobody can walk from the beginning to the end.It was firstly built in Qin Dynasty and prolonged in Ming and Qing

dynasties.It was used to protect the enemies from invading in the past, but now it

has become the place of interest which attracts so many tourists both at home

and abroad.

When I was standing on the top of the Great Wall, I felt as if I were in

ancient days.

I could see many laborers working very hard. How could they finish this

extremely difficult task by hand?

We need to follow all kinds of public rules, such as the manner rules and

the traffic regulation. If we break the rules, then all the work will be out of

order and everybody will suffer the loss. But few people just ignore the rules

and waste other people’s time and money.

Chinese high speed train has won many praise from foreign people. The

trains always start off as the timetable and reach the destination on time. High

speed train is popular by the public by its speed and punctuality, but what if

someone breaks the traffic rule? Recently, a video got popular on the Internet.

A woman was stuck in the door of high speed train and the staffs tried to stop

her but failed. She said her husband was on the way and she wanted the train to

start off later. How ridiculous it was. How could she let all the passengers to

wait for her. Everybody’s time is precious.

Though the woman apologized after the policemen’s education, what she did

discomforts the public. The way she acted wasted the public’s time. It is our

duty to follow rules and keep the public in order.
