presently, a new lifestyle called low carbon life is spreading every corner of our country. the concepts of low carbon are low energy and no waste. it is such a significant project that i can’t wait to present my ideas on how to promote it.

on the first place, a no-car day is supposed to set up every week in our school. because cars not only cause serious air pollution but also waste energy. on no-car day, neither students nor teachers are allowed to drive to school. meanwhile, just walk, jump, cycle or run. use our legs and enjoy the fun.

on the second place, we had best not use plastic bags any more. no one can stand the “white pollution”. so, it is wise to use bags which can be reused again and again.

finally, one thing that we should keep in mind: every big thing comes from the subtle. therefore, as students, we ought to turn out the lights the moment we leave, turn off the tap in time, and reuse our textbook and so on.

all in all, it weighs greatly for all of us to put the low carbon lifestyle into practice. just set our mind to these: no-car day, no plastic bags, and no waste. let’s do it now.

todays society is a highly developed technological society. however, the shortcomings in the development process are obvious, such as: carbon dioxide, and environmental pollution. but the most serious should be the carbon dioxide problem.

now the problem of global warming because of excess emissions of greenhouse gases. excessive amount of carbon dioxide emissions, creating a diversified economy and la nina phenomena lag disorder. two levels of glaciers melting, polar animals lose their chance of

currently,my school is launching an activity whose theme is that actions change the world to advocate the low carbon living.

in the activity,we are required to go to school or some other place by bike or by foot as much as possible instead of by bus.and when the christmas comes,sending e-greeting cards instead of tridional cards of which are made of wood as we know.besides,we should use both sides of every piece of paper and we should save water as well as electricity.

i believe that only we do thus can we have a better living environment.

Before I entered the middle school, I felt so worried about the life in middle school, because my cousin told me that I would have to compete with so many excellent students.

Now I get used to the life, I learn many subjects from Monday to Friday.

Though I always meet the difficulties in learning the new knowledge, I get help from my teachers and classmates.

I am not afraid of the middle school life again, I am so excited to learn new things every day.

[初中英语作文：初中生活

又过年了，屋外正纷纷扬扬地飘着小雪，昨晚的大雪过后，地上洁白一片。屋外的人们一边呼喊着，一边兴奋地放着鞭炮，好一派热闹的景象!

我们几个孩子追逐嬉戏着，跑进厨房，奶奶正在下饺子，一个个“胖娃娃”似的饺子调皮地在锅里手舞足蹈着。我们又跑去找爷爷领红包，本应是件令人兴奋的事情，可我的心里却不由自主地开始发毛，拿着红包的手也呆呆地停住了，好像休克了一般。我努力地劝说自己：要勇敢些，没什么好胆怯的!可我却始终无法像别人那样轻松快活起来。几只小鸟飞过来，落在我的肩头，好像在说：“你真是的，领个红包都这么费劲，让你兄弟看见了会怎么想?……”它们叽叽喳喳地说个不停，我窘迫得不得了。

吃过团圆饭，我们一起出去拜年。我们走到一户人家门前，他们都进去了，而我的脚却重如泰山，怎么也抬不起来了，只好在门外徘徊着。过了一会儿，他们出来，我尾随着继续出发，去了下一家。就这样一连去了好几户人家，我都没有勇气进去。

我哥好像看出点苗头了，对大人们说：“我看他变得好奇怪，我们得想个法子治治他!”我们又到了一户人家，我和之前一样没进去。可这一次，他们进去了好久都没出来，外面实在是太冷了，我不想再等了，我也好想进屋去，可却抬不起脚，经过一番激烈的思想斗争，最后我终于鼓足了勇气，迈出了沉重的第一步，硬着头皮闯进屋里，所有的人都向我竖起了大拇指，屋里一派其乐融融的景象。我的脚也变轻了，从大山变成了细羽，从钢铁变成了棉花，那一刻我突然有了一种前所未有的轻松感。“我克服了胆怯，我终于成功了!”我欣喜不已。

天，十分湛蓝;雪，一片洁白，就连石头，树枝也对着我微笑。那一刻，我突然明白了：世上无难事，只要肯登攀!

在高二时很讨厌用一种叫"Basic c。l。r"的水笔，一元一支的廉价品，损耗速度非常了得。但到了高三就一直只买这种笔，一盒一盒地买，因为看着它们随参考书一批批"阵亡"，心中有种主宰他物命运的快乐感觉。

学长把高三比作一次海峡横渡：下水前觉得一切易如反掌，到达彼岸后，回想一路真的是易如反掌，而我正在拼命横渡中，所以会有窒息玩命之感。 语文老师说：没有生活经验的文章不要写，想也别想，想出来一定是假的，连类比也不行。英语老师则鼓励我们唤醒想象细胞，他管这叫"遐想"，其实就是"瞎想"。英语老师有句名言：回忆总是美好的。初三的时候苦苦苦，待到真的考入附中后，回想过往的一切都是甜蜜的。我们都甜蜜了两年了，所以高三苦苦苦，挺过了，迎接我们的就是那四年精彩的大学生活和甜蜜的高三回忆。于是全班同学在英语老师的指引下天马行空地憧憬起缤纷绚烂多姿多彩的大学生活。尽管有时觉得英语老师的"甜蜜论"和历史老师讲的圣西门之类的空想社会主义者的理论缥缈得极为相似，但就是这每课必有的"遐想"，对于高三的我们竟也有望梅止渴之奇效。看来人有时真是得自欺欺人，或者说，得有理想地活。就是类似"幸福的日子不远了"这种50年代电影结尾时主人公画龙点睛的经典台词，依然把我的心照得跟电影中广大父老乡亲的一样亮堂堂。现在回想这些，温暖备至，果真甜蜜美好。 ，

当模拟考的分数"惊为天人"时，我平躺在床上盯着天花板，想念被阿兹海默症带走的祖父，想着想着，泪水就会一点一点溶解着失落与悲伤流出眼眶，尔后整个身体如脱水海绵般失去能量，连续睡上10个小时，醒来时又是崭新的一天，新的考卷与参考书正等待着我的挑战。老师似乎谙熟于把握时间的技巧，总是在周五公布考试分数与名次，允许我有足够的时间反思与忏悔。不过后来随着考试频率的增加，数字本身再也无法勾起我有关前途的任何联想，而烦恼与反思的时间也被全部有效利用，这才明白一模二模纯粹是小试牛刀，也难怪老师能够面对如此耸人听闻的分数岿然不动。正所谓：年年有高考，岁岁人不同。

高考最后一天考完后，回到寝室里，极度兴奋，躺在床上，高兴地筹划着游玩计划。忽然瞥见满架的参考书与考卷，一瞬间觉得心里空落落的好像缺了一块，惆怅，不舍，不知不觉，泪盈于睫。
