一、有的放矢,了解高考英语写作要点

要对高考英语写作的题型及内容有所了解,才能把握好高考英语写作的考点,在此基础上才能找到行之有效的对策及方法。纵观近几年各省高考英语试题中,写作测试的命题思路,有一种从指导性写作逐步向半开放式写作过渡的趋势。半开放式写作,具体地说,就是给考生们提供一定的材料(包括图、文或图文结合)然后要求学生根据材料来进行书面表达,这样的考题形式,既限制了考生随心所欲的思维,又给予考生适当的发挥空间。这种命题方式能较好地考查考生的语言组织能力、书面表达能力以及思维能力。而在文体方面,记叙文、议论文、应用文及书信为最常见的写作题材。因此,我们可以做一个形象的比喻,写文章就像工厂里制造一台机器那样,首先要确定机器由几部分组成,然后对这几部分分别细化,形成初步的设计图;再根据要求对初步的设计图进行完善、补充、修改,随之形成最终的设计图;然后我们再按照图纸的设计,使用我们所掌握的零件去制造出机器;同样的道理,学生写作时可参照以下模式:

1.理解话题:学生在动笔前必须对指定的话题进行反复细读,认真思考,理解其真正的含义,了解出题者的意图,这是进行写作的第一步;

2.明确文体,确定人称时态:这一阶段的判断中,主要强调近十年高考最常见的两种文体:(1)说明文:必须按照事物的原貌加以说明、介绍、解释,常采用一般现在时,被动语态也常使用;(2)记叙文:通常采用第一人称,描述本人的经历或耳闻目睹之事;或用第三人称讲述他人的事情,如果是过去的事情,要用过去时。

3.初拟提纲,再理解话题:明确文体的基础上,草拟写作提纲;提纲是文章的骨架,可以是一句活,也可以是一个词组,由于考试时间所限,提纲内容不必面面俱到,但必须体现文章的整体结构和思路;目前绝大部分高中学生在英语写作时,还习惯于使用母语进行构思,然后将构思好的中文内容翻译成英文,这种情况是正常的;关键在于翻译过程中的语言表达必须符合英语语言的表达习惯

4.开始写作:提纲完成后,应根据提纲充实内容,如果说提纲是骨架的话,那么这时你必须将骨架填充血肉;具体的说就是要扩展要点,连词成句,适当地变换句型,组句谋篇成文;注意应简明扼要,层次分明、用词准确、语法概念清楚,使文章更具说服力,然后在写作完成后,还要对文章进行快速的检查,减少单词的拼写错误和句子表达的错误。

二、高考英语写作指导的具体策略

根据以上对历年高考英语写作试题的分析,我们可以从以下三个方面去指导学生进行写作:

1.细读材料,认真审题

仔细阅读书面表达题所给材料的全部内容,准确理解题目要求。需要认真审查的内容有:(1)文章的开头和结尾是否已给出;(2)用第几人称写作,书面表达要求中会明确指出使用第一人称还是第三人称;(3)提供的情景是图画、图表,还是提纲,如果是连环画,要注意故事情节的连贯性,确定合理的情节发展;(4)是否提供参考词汇,如果提供有参考词汇,写作中最好要用到;(5)采用什么文体,如果是议论文,要有论点、论据和结论三部分。如果是应用文,要注意其格式。如果是记叙文,要抓住六个要素:时间、地点、人物、事件、事情起因、事情的发展与结果。

2.恰当选择词语和句式

认真审题后,就可以列提纲了,将重点单词、短语、句型写在提纲里,关于选词切忌使用生僻词语,要求做到用词准确、得体、达意。选择句式时,尽量使用多种句式,如强调句、倒装句、各种名词性从句、定语从句、状语从句和固定句型等,长句和短句视情况交错使用,这样可以提高文章的档次,使文章生辉。

选词大多是在一组同义词或近义词之间进行。例如,我们要表达“好”这个意思,一般来说,大家会马上想起“good”,因为口语中我们经常说agoodfriend、goodluck、agoodpicture等。但是,在不同的短语中,可以选择不同的英语单词使表达更加准确、生动、形象。

3.多背常识性语句,扩大知识面

语言是有规律的,不同体裁的书面表达都有其常识性语句。如果同学们平时有大量的语句积累,在写作时就能把积累的东西调动起来。这些常识性语句既可增加文章的连贯性、逻辑性和可读性,同时还能提供地道的表达方式。写人物介绍时,应着重写人物的姓名、性别、年龄、职业、身高、健康状况、业余爱好、工作态度、与人相处和社会评价等语句。例如:lipingisagoodteacher,whoisthirtyyearsold.heis175centimetrestallandheishealthy.等。

1、第一人称叙事法

【特点】由于文章的内容是通过“我”传达给读者,表示文章中所写的都是叙述人的亲眼所见,亲耳所闻,或者就是叙述者本人的亲身经历,使读者得到一种亲切真实的感觉。采用第一人称,由于叙述人是当事人,所以叙述的人与事,只能是“我”活动范围内的人物和事件。活动范围以外的人物和事情就不能写进去。

2、第三叙事法

【特点】用第三人称叙事,叙述人既不受空间、时间的限制,也不受生理、心理的限制,可以直接把文章中的人和事展现在读者面前,能自由灵活地反映社会生活。但第三人称叙事又往往不如第一人称叙事那么亲切自然。

3补叙法

【特点】补叙主要用于对上文的叙述补充说明,一般是片断性的、简要的,不具备完整的事件,也可以把解释或说明的文字放有前面,以引起下文。补叙的作用,一般不发展情节、事件,只对原来的叙述起丰富、补充作用。

4插叙法

【特点】插叙是为了表达文章中心的需要。有时是为了帮助读者了解故事情节的追叙;有时是对出场人物的情节作注释、说明。使用插叙一定要服从表达中心思想的需要,做到不节外生枝,不喧宾夺主。在插入叙述的时候,还要注意文章的过渡、照应和衔接,不能有断裂的痕迹。

5倒叙法

【特点】倒叙并不是把整个事件都倒过来叙述,而是除了把某个部分提前外,其他仍是顺叙的方法。采用倒叙的情况一般有三种:一是为了表现文章中心思想的需要,把最能表现中心思想的部分提到前面,加以突出;二是为了使文章结构富于变化,避免平铺直叙;三是为了表现效果的需要,使文章曲折有致,造成悬念,引人入胜。倒叙时要交代清楚起点。倒叙与顺叙的转换处,要有明显的界限,还要有必要的文字过渡,做到自然衔接。特别要注意,不要无目的地颠来倒去,反反复复,使文章的眉目不清。

一、找到学生写作中存在的问题

1.汉语思维的影响。学生在写作中经常用汉语思维,忽略了英汉语序之间是有差别的,导致出现了大量的式英语,尽管洋洋洒洒一大篇,却没有得分点。

2.词或词组的用法及搭配出现错误。如enjoy,finish等单词后面只能接v-ing形式;“forget to do”和“forget doing”在意思上存在着显著的差异等。学生在做选择题或用所给词的适当形式填空时,大多数学生能做对,但在作文中,学生往往忽略了其用法,出现了不必要的错误。

3.时态、语态的构成及使用错误。例如,一般过去时的否定句中,助动词didn’t后的动词用原形,而完成时的句子中往往用动词的过去分词,在这方面,学生的拼写容易出现错误。

4.单词的拼写错误,标点使用不当,不注意大小写,遗漏冠词,介词的误用等。

5.结构松散。关联词的使用可使上下句和段落合理衔接,承上启下,使表达合乎逻辑,同时使文章结构严谨、紧凑,部分考生的作文虽然内容和语言还不错,但是由于过于执着于表格所给内容的顺序,没有进行灵活的处理,整篇文章看起来就象是句子翻译,并且句与句之间关系松懈,缺乏连接,以至于文章毫无流畅、优美之感。

二、如何培养学生英语写作能力

1.从单词入手。单词是英语学习的基础,单词过不了关,写作就无从谈起,因为单词是写作的基本单位。但是单词记忆又是学生学习英语的最薄弱环节,因此我们必须时刻告诫学生,单词的学习过程,实际上就是人与遗忘作斗争的过程,要长期坚持下去。 志和必胜的信心。

2.由“句式”到“段落”的训练阶段。从七年级开始就对学生进行书写小段落的训练,做到口笔同步。随着教学的不断深入,写作内容也不断丰富,八年级就要注意段落中的时态差异、句型变化以及过渡句的使用等。到了九年级就要注意文章的体裁、格式、写作方法、复句的正确性以及中外文化的差异性。

3.课前几分钟进行Free Talk。学生可以准备谜语、笑话、小故事、即兴演讲等。之后向听的学生进行提问,其他学生只有认真听才能回答出问题。Free Talk为学生提供了很好的实践机会。

4.在课堂上,我们要注重听说的训练,给学生提供大量的口语练习材料,从句子到对话,从对话到文章,以培养学生的语感。同时,加强写的训练,利用所学的句型大量翻译句子,使学生能够真正做到举一反三。此外,还要让学生在练习时注意区分英汉语序的不同。

5.要求学生多写多练。教师按照每个单元呈现的重点内容为学生规定文题或写作范围,指导学生写一些代表性的文章,并结合学生比较优秀的作文进行讲评,取其精华,去其糟粕,完成一篇优秀的范文。使学生在讲评的过程中领略这些文章的优缺点,教会学生如何自己修改作文,并将范文抄写在固定的作文本上,不断积累,并随知识的不断扩展对已写的文章根据需要不断进行修改或扩充,使其更加完美。

6.加强背诵。看了好文章,不单是理解就够了,还应该在理解的基础上多多背诵,才能达到融会贯通、据为已有的效果。英语宜多诵多背,把一些句型、短语,一些文章的片段或全篇,背得滚瓜烂熟,让这些材料在你的脑袋里扎根,当你要用的时候,它们便会而然地冒出来。背诵可以培养正确使用语言的习惯,增强语感,这样就可以避免生搬硬套地写一些式的。加强背诵能变难为易,变费力为省力,能有效地帮助学生提高写作能力。现在背诵和熟记一些语言材料,对中学生来说将会受用无穷。

It is impossible / necessary/ strange…that clause.(从句中的谓语用should+do / should have done,其形式是虚拟语气。)如:

It is strange that he should have failed in this exam.真奇怪,他这次考试没有及格。

It is + a pity/ a shame…that clause.(注意从句中的谓语动词用should do或should have done的形式,但should可以省略。)如:

He didn’t come back until the film ended. It was a pity that he should have missed this film. 他直到电影结束才回来。他没有看到这部电影真可惜。

It is suggested / ordered/ commanded /…that +clause.(从句的谓语动词用should do, 但should可以省略。)如:

It is suggested that the meeting should be put off.有人建议推迟会议。

It is/was+表示地点的名词+where+从句。(注意本句不是强调句型,而是以where引导的定语从句。)如:

It was this house where I was born.请比较:It was in this house that I was born.(后一句是强调句型。)

It is / was +表示时间的名词+when+从句。(注意本句型也不是强调句型,而是以when引导的定语从句。)如:

It was 1999 when he came back from the United States. 请比较:It was in 1999 that he came back from the United States.

句型11.

It is well-known that+从句。如:

It is well-known that she is a learned woman.众所周知,她是个知识渊博的妇女。

句型12.

It is +段时间+since+主语+did. 请比较:

It was +段时间+since+主语+had done. 如:

It is five years since he left here.他已经离开这儿五年了。

It was five years since he left here.(同上)

注意下列句型的翻译:It is five years since he lived here.他从这儿搬走已经有五年了。

句型13.

It +谓语+段时间+before+主语+谓语.( before引导的是时间状语从句。) 如:

It wasn’t long before the people in that country rose up.没有多久那个国家的人民就起义了。

It will be three hours before he comes back.三个小时之后他才能回来。

句型14.

It is +形容词(possible, impossible, necessary等) +for+ sb.+ to do. 如:

It is impossible for me to finish this work before tomorrow.我明天之前完成此工作是不可能的。

It is +(心理品质方面的)形容词+of + sb. +to do.= 主语+ be +形容词+to do.(常用的形容词有:kind, stupid; foolish, good, wise等。)如:

October is just the National Day, that is, the mothers mothers birthday.

A Present For Mother’s Birthday.

a bunch of flowers a birthday card are the best presents. A card is cheaper. But

it is bad for trees. The more I buy cards, the more trees will be cut by people.

It was five o’clock. It was time to surprise her mother. When Han Mei’s

mother came home, Han Mei said Happy Birthday to her mother. Then she cleaned
