Mooncakes are to Mid-Autumn Festival what mince pies are to Christmas. The seasonal round cakes traditionally have a sweet filling of lotus seed paste or red bean paste and often have one or more salted duck eggs in the center to represent the moon. And the moon is what this celebration is all about. Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th month，it is the time when the moon is said to be at its brightest and fullest.

There are two legends which claim to explain the tradition of eating mooncakes. One Tang Dynasty myth holds that the Earth once had 10 suns circling it. One day all 10 suns appeared at once，scorching the planet with their heat. It was thanks to a skillful archer named Hou Yi that the Earth was saved. He shot down all but one of the suns. As his reward，the Heavenly Queen Mother gave Hou Yi the Elixir of Immortality，but she warned him that he must use it wisely. Hou Yi ignored her advice and，corrupted by fame and fortune，became a tyrannical leader. Chang-Er，his beautiful wife， could no longer stand by and watch him abuse his power so she stole his Elixir and fled to the moon to escape his angry wrath. And thus began the legend of the beautiful woman in the moon，the Moon Fairy.

The second legend has it that during the Yuan Dynasty，an underground group led by Zhu Yuan Zang was determined to rid the country of Mongolian dominance. The moon cake was created to carry a secret message. When the cake was opened and the message read，an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the Mongolians. It happened at the time of the full moon，which，some say，explains why mooncakes are eaten at this time. Mooncakes are usually stamped with Chinese characters indicating the name of the bakery and the type of filling used. Some bakeries will even stamp them with your family name so that you can give personalised ones to friends and family. They are usually presented in boxes of four which indicate the four phases of the moon. Traditional mooncakes are made with melted lard，but today vegetable oil is more often used in the interests of health. Mooncakes are not for the diet-conscious as they are loaded with calories. The best way to wash down one of these sticky cakes is with a cup of Chinese tea，especially Jasmine or Chrysanthemum tea，which aids the digestion.

参军对于大学生来说是一个很好的选择。军队是一个国家最重要的组成部分。如今，很多大学生都愿意去参军，是什么原因呢?

Firstly, there are many preferential policies for college students to join the army, such as tuition waiver, wage subsidy. What’s more, I consider join the army can strengthen our mind. In my opinion, it’s the most important reason to join the army. Whatever you are a student or others, two years’ training can build a strong body, too.

首先，大学生参军有很多优惠政策，如减免学费，工资补贴。更重要的是，我认为参军可以丰富我的想法。在我看来，这是参军最重要的原因，不管你是一名学生或其他人，两年的培训可以练就一个强壮的身体。

通过师德师风的教育学习，我对学习心得体会重要意义有了较明确的认识。师德建设决定教师队伍建设的成败，也就决定教育事业发展和改革的成败。教育部长周济指出：教书育人，教书者必先学为人师，育人者必先行为世范。教师职业的特点决定了教师必须具备更高的素质，而师德是教师最重要的素质，是教师的灵魂。师德决定了教师对学生的热爱和对事业的忠诚，决定了教师执着的追求和人格的高尚;另一方面，师德直接影响着学生们的成长，教师的理想信念、道德情操、人格魅力直接影响到学生的思想素质、道德品质和道德行为习惯的养成。高尚而富有魅力的师德就是一部教科书，就是一股强大的精神力量，对学生的影响是耳濡目染的、潜移默化的、受益终生的。因此，针对师德师风建设中存在的`、人民群众反映比较强烈的热点或突出问题，开展师德师风教育活动是极有必要的，加强师德师风建设也是全面推进素质教育和实施新课程改革的必然求。

我们地方教师都能在条件艰苦的环境中，坚守岗位，勤奋工作，扎实完成教学任务，保证我校教育教学健康有序的发展。应该说我校教师队伍是一支忠诚于党和人民教育事业的队伍，是一支热爱学生、言传身教、为人师表、教书育人，注意引导学生德、智、体、美全面发展的队伍，是一支敬业和乐于奉献的队伍，但与先进教师比较，离教师职业道德规范的要求还有一定的距离。对面照教师法等法规和教师职业道德规范，我认为教师应注意以下五个方的加强学习和修养，才能更好地担负起培养“有理想、有道德、有文化、守纪律”的中国特色社会主义事业接班人和建设者的重任。

1、爱岗敬业、献身教育是师德的基本要求

教师的职业有苦也有乐，平凡中见伟大，只有爱岗敬业，教师才能积极面对自身的社会责任和社会义务，才能自觉、不断地完善自我，才能在教育活动中有所收获。教师不仅仅是在奉献、在燃烧，而且同样是在汲取，在更新，在升华。教师要付出艰辛的劳动，但是苦中有乐，乐在其中。教师最大的乐趣就是照亮了别人，充实了自己。正是这种成就感、幸福感，激励着千千万万的教师不辞辛劳地为教育事业献身。

2。热爱学生、教书育人是师德的核心

热爱学生，了解学生，循循善诱，诲人不倦，不歧视学生，建立民主平等、亲密的师生关系，做学生的良师益友。教师对学生的爱，是师德的核心。教师对学生的爱，是一种只讲付出不记回报、无私的、广泛的且没有血缘关系的爱。这种爱是神圣的，是教师教育学生的感情基础。学生一旦体会到这种感情，就会“亲其师”，从而“信其道”，也正是在这个过程中，教育实现了其根本的功能。爱学生，怎么爱才是真正的爱，近来一些舆论批评某些教师是“制造自卑者的教师”。好多教师都认为，学生的优点，不夸跑不了;学生的缺点，不批改不了。因此，他们总是批评、训斥、否定学生，而很少鼓励、表扬、肯定学生。其实，在老师的眼里不应有教不好的孩子，教师就要对学生一视同仁，不能用简单粗暴的做法对待学生或歧视学生。应当相信每一个学生都能成功，平等对待每一个学生，发现他们的闪光点，让每一个学生都能品尝到成功的喜悦。

3、更新观念、努力创新是师德的新发展

要让学生从分数的奴隶变为学习的主人。要从以“教”为出发点转变为以学生的“学”为出发点，教为学服务，教不是统治学生学、代替学生学，而是启发学生学、引导学生学。课堂要成为学生学习的用武之地，成为学生在教师指导下获取知识、训练能力、发展智力以及思想情操受到良好熏陶的场所。教师应是教练员，不是运动员，要让学生运用感觉器官和思维器官，去学习、去实践。

4、以身作则、为人师表是师德的人格力量

在教育中，一切师德要求都基于教师的人格，因为师德的魅力主要从人格特征中显示出来，教师是教人怎样做人的人，首先自己要知道怎样做人。教师工作有强烈的典范性，为人师表是教师的美德。教师以身作则，才能起到人格感召的作用，培养出言行一致的人。

5、终身学习、不断进取是师德的升华

在知识经济时代，知识和技术更新的速度越来越快，每个人都会面临落伍的危险。在科学和技术发展速度如此之快的背景下，如果不经常处于学习状态，人们的知识结构很快就会落后于实践的要求。所以，时代要求教师必须转变学习观念，确立“边学边干、边干边学、终身学习”的观念，紧跟当代知识和技术的发展步伐。

From the earliest time to the present days, viewpoints concerning human

nature were vehemently contended among prominent philosophers. Mencius believed

human nature is good, and people are naturally inclined toward virtue. While,

Xunzi deemed human are basically evil who need to be changed by man-made.

As it is widely known, human nature is that indestructible matrix upon

which the character is built. Accordingly, to a large extent, the basic nature

of human beings cannot be changed. On the other hand, each of us is naturally

endowed with diverse both qualities and personalities, which makes us unfold an

apparently distinct character. Then, it is hard for one to change his nature

fundamentally. Regardless of whether nature is innate or habitus acquired, they

were both a consistently developing courses that cannot be easily changed in a

short time. Last but not the least, external influencing factors, like

religious, education and even social institutions can merely direct our nature

on account of the most limited control. Thus, it is only the surface that is

capable of alteration, improvement and refinement.

In a word, the basic nature of human beings does not and cannot change and

also no one can fundamentally change his nature in the short time. But people

can make it perfect.

The first day for me to go to high school, I felt so excited, because I came into the new stage of my life. The school asked the students to live in the dormitory, so I had to move out and left my parents. This was such a big challenge for me, because I never left home before. I needed to learn to be independent, what’s more, I also learned to get along with others. High school was like a little society for me and I handed the problems well. The other challenge was from study. I had to learn so many subjects and fought for my future college. I met difficulties and felt frustrated, but I told myself not to give up and I got over the difficulties. High school life is not easy, but we grow up quickly.
