How time flies! It has been about two years since I came to the University of Education. Every coin has two sides. On the one hand, I am quite satisfied with my university life. On the other hand, life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.

University is not only a place where you can learn something useful from textbooks, but also a place where you can improve your ability to communicate with others.

During the year university study, I can not only acquire a lot of book learning, but also foster various abilities. All types of extracurricular activities such as sports meets, speech contests, different social gatherings and traveling provide opportunities to make friends, many of these friendships may last a long time. I like talking and playing with others, so I own many friends. Sometimes I feel lonely, angry and also homesick. But fortunately I own these good friends. They helped me spend these sad days. Sometimes I also want to own more free time to do my own things. But we have too many classes. So I think life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected. 会操的结束，让我的生活进入了乏味的状态。成为替补人员的我只要呆一边休息，其它的训练真的就是不关己。即使这样可能少些劳累，可却让我不安与彷徨。我感受到了一种距离，一种隔断“一起”这个词的距离，看到同学们那样地努力，而我却……真是窝囊到家了。那么嘹亮的口号，而却没有我的加入，我真的愣往了。我不得不痛心地问自己：是否我仍是他们中的一员?可又该如何回答呢!是的，我们中间已经有了一道无法逾越的而且很透明的墙，虽然可以看见彼此，但却变得陌生。那一段时间我很害怕。室友的那一句话安慰的话传入耳朵，流到心里时，我就似乎懂得了什么。我知道了，你和我们仍是一起的，我们不会分开。

梦想仍在微笑着我招手，我不知何时，才能走到她的面前，但我不会放弃。我相信支持到底就是胜利。太阳依旧升起不知疲倦，我也依旧努力不怕困难。不久军训落下帷幕，但挑战并没有因此而退出。它将伴我来到梦之门。

Those, however, are not what University life is all about. As we all know, University is wildly different from middle school. After passing the 20XX College Entrance Examination, I find my name in the enrolling list of Hechi college which many young people dream of. My teacher gave me an assignment "experience life" last week. I had been thinking how to finish it because I had never done any thing by myself before.

Mother was out today. It was a good chance to complete the assignment. Seeing the barrel was empty, I decided to fetch water from the well.

I took the empty barrel and went towards the well outside the yard. It snowed yesterday, so the alley was very slippery. A layer of thickice was frozen on the platform of the well. I was frightened by the sight, but I gathered my courage to walk towards it.

The alley was so slippery that I walked with difficultly. Suddenly, I slipped and fell down, water in the barrel totally poured down on the ground. I stepped on the platform carefully. After standing steadily and squatting down slowly, I hooked the barrel at the end of the rope and put the rope down slowly. I made an effort to drag the barrel up after it was filled with water. For most university students, dormitory life is a new experience. Most students have never lived far away from their parents before coming to university. They have always had their parents to depend on for advice and guidance, and when they become university students, their lives begin to change.

There are striking difference between home life and dormitory life. Student must begin to be responsible for their own action. They must depend on themselves to get up in the morning on, time for class, to eat properly, to keep their clothes and themselves clean ,and to set aside an appropriate amount of time for study and relaxation. They must also learn to take care of their money, making sure to preserve enough for both necessities and for fun.

In general, there are both good and bad points about life in student dormitory. Often, dormitory?rooms are small and crowded. This lack of space can limit ones privacy and make it?difficult for students to concentrate on their studies. On the other hand, in a dormitory, student have a great deal more freedom than?they might have at home. They can act according to their own will and desire than to that of parents.
