With time goes by， it bees a bit hard for me to remember everything about

Halloween always falls on 31 October. It’s a holiday for children. On that day, children always wear fancy clothes and masks. And then, they go from house to house to say “Trick or Treat”, so that people will treat them with candies. If they don’t receive any candies, they’ll play a trick on people. But sometimes if the people are going out, when the children come, they’ll put the candies in a carved pumpkin lanterns. Children will take the candies themselves. Since the development of the technology, the society gets modernized,

people make use of the high technology to pursue more profit. Though the

government has noticed the problem that people do to the environment, they still

can’t prevent negative result that the polluted environment brings.

Many years ago, the most prominent problem of the polluted environment is

that the river and the water were changed their color, some fish even died for

the polluted river. Now the situation becomes ever worse, lately, in the big

city, like Beijing and Shanghai, people are annoyed by the bad weather. It is

not the rainy day, but the haze around the sky, there is no way for people to

I was born in the country, my family lived there before I was 6 years old.

Then my parents moved to the city for their work, I had to stay away from my

hometown. Though living in the city brings me a lot of convenience, I eat the

good food, I still miss country life all the time. I love to live in the

country.

Living in the country, the time seems to be very slow. I woke up early in

the morning and then took the walk. After eating the breakfast, it was about 8

o’clock. I went out to play with my friends or went to help my grandparents with

their work. After doing these, it was just 11 o’clock. But in the city, I woke

up at 9 o’clock, and then I ate the breakfast, the rest of the day was to play

computer. How time flies to me.

I get so close to the nature and I find so much fun in the country life. I

always want to live in my hometown. When I have the time, I will go back there

Today is fathers day, when I went to school, I heard my classmates were

to my mind, I could cook a dinner for my father. So I rushed home after class.

My mother was preparing dinner. I told her my idea and she supported me. I did

as what my mother told me. I washed the food and then cut the meat and

I get up at seven o’clock in the morning every day. After I brush my teeth

They may easily have different opinions with others, but they never

They enjoy making friends but they never think about making social

Only in children’s way can adults make our life simple, more real and more

I wish everyone’s heart would keep as innocent and lovely as they ever did

in their childhood. Then, the walls between our hearts can be broken down and

Water is a kind of liquid. It has no taste or smell. It is transparent, too. Water is useful and is important to us. Why? For example, we use water to water the plants. We use water to wash our face or to have a bath. We drink water or we will die…Water is also very important for China. Now there are over 30000 members all over the world. Since water covers most of the earth, Cousteau knew that we should keep the sea clean. We should not litter the sea, and should clean up the dirty parts. As water is very important to our environment, he encouraged everyone to take part in protecting our lakes, rivers, sea and ocean.

There are still a few people who are not protecting the water now in the world. For example, some factories pour waste things into the rivers, lakes or into the sea near by. The water there has become very dirty and we can’t use them at all. Although there are seventy–five per sent of water in the world, we can only use fresh water, that there is only a little. So we should use little water when we need to use it. For example, I do not use too much water when I am washing my face or having a bath… It is important for us to keep the water clean. You may ask yourself, have I ever poured or thrown dirty things into the water? If your answer is “No”, that means you have already helped to protect the environment. It is our duty to protect the environment. You may ask yourself again, have I ever helped to clean up the water? If your answer is “Yes”, that means that you have already done something useful to improve the water. If we use up all the water, it is difficult for us to get it from anywhere, including the universe. It is terrible to think that people are too thirsty to live! During the festival, family members get united and have moon cakes together. There are various kinds of moon cakes, such as bean paste, egg-yolk or meat. The shape of a moon cake is round as it symbolizes a big moon. Moreover, in the evening of the Middle-Autumn Festival, people get together in a vacant place, eating delicious moon cakes while appreciating the beautiful moon hanging in the dark sky. Last weekend, I wanted to swim in the river that I usually wen in the

childhood. When I went there, I was shock. The river is no longer like before.

It was full of rubbish. It seemed that the rubbish is from the villagers

themselves. In order to put the rubbish nearer, they put all of them into the

river. Not only the water is not clean any more, the river also smelt bad. I

real touched. Why human and the environment couldn’t live harmonious? Long time

ago, they could get along with each other. Why not now? People have to stop
