Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

As far as I am concerned， something must be done to stop this illegal action.We believe "no buying， no killing".First， we must make concerning laws to protect these animals in danger.Second， we must take some measures to protect animals effectively.Animals are our friends and part of our environment.Third， we should raise peoples awareness to protect animals and our environment.In this way， we can build a harmonious society and ensure a sustainable development。

Christmas is annual festival in western world that is one of the most

important festivals for them. Previously, only westerners or Christians

celebrate it. But in recent years, more and more Chinese people celebrate it,

especially among young people. There are many activities in that day. I think

there are the following reasons that make Christmas popular in China. First,

it’s a western holiday and it’s new to Chinese. Second, with the development of

the world, the mutual influence between China and the west makes it work. Last,

the merchants make great contribution to its popularity.

你知道世界上有多少种动植物正在濒临灭亡吗？比如、赛加羚羊等这些可爱的小动物，如果对它们不加以保护，以后就只能在动物园里见到它们了，甚至它们只能在我们那美好的回忆中出现。

在中国东北地区或其它地区生活着一种名叫东北虎的动物应该受到重点保护，因为它们的数量在慢慢的减少。东北虎的身体背部和体侧上有多列黑色窄条纹。头又大又圆，头额上的黑色条纹通常都是串起来的，就像一个王字，正是因为这样，人们才会赐给它一个森林之王的美誉。它们喜欢住在杂草丛生的森林里，喜欢独居，晚上才行动，是个和猫头鹰一样的夜猫子。它的行动敏捷，即善于爬树，又善于游泳。东北虎是哺乳动物，约是一至两个月后生出小东北虎，可是，东北虎的寿命只有28年左右。东北虎跟人一样，都是食肉动物，可东北虎比人类还要挑剔，它专门吃带有蹄的小动物，肥肥胖胖的野猪和身材矫健的马鹿都是它肚子里的常客呢！导致东北虎濒危的直接原因就是人们无情的猎杀，因为，听说东北虎的某些器官可以入药，另一个，间接原因是人们泛滥的砍伐树木，猎杀其他的野生动物，因此破坏了它生活的环境和它与鹿、野猪等有蹄动物的生态平衡。

桫罗树也是濒危物种，它还被国家列为国家一级保护植物。桫罗树的样子和假槟榔没什么区别，从它上方看它的叶子就像一朵洁白的雪花，它还是新西兰的国花咧！桫罗树们形态各异，有的是龙凤胎，有的是三个姐妹在一起，还有的是八姐妹欢聚一堂呢！桫罗树的种子与其他植物的种子不一样，别的种子落在地上有适宜的温度就会发芽，它们特别挑剔，进入土里后，就会先派心形的侦察兵出去探路，进行光合作用，为种子提供养分等一切工作。做完这些工作后，它的芽才会慢慢地冒出头来。桫椤树已经有三亿多年的历史了，桫椤树在三亿年前是很常见的一种植物，那时以草为食物的恐龙经常以桫椤为主食咧！桫椤还可以作药用，一般用它来治疗跌打损伤，而且，它还可以预防流行感冒哦！引起桫椤濒危最主要的原因就是人类破坏了大森林，使得桫椤生存的温暖、潮湿、水分充足等环境遭到破坏，还有另一个原因，那就是为人砍伐，盗走桫椤，拿去售卖，这才导致它濒临灭亡。

所以，我们要从现在做起，保护我们的环境，保护绿树，保护动物，只有这样才能让我们生活的环境越来越好，家园越来越美，生活越过越好，让这个地球完完整整，不让这个地球有缺陷。
