Recently, our efforts to protect wild animals was questioned by the public,

because the news is keep reporting that more and more wild animals was killed by

human beings, especially the very precious one. Innocent animals was dead for

their meat, fur and tooth, it was just used to fill up human beings desire. In

my point of view, the wild animals were protected effectively still has a long

way to go.

Firstly, people should try harder to make a better place for animals. The

land where the wild animals live was deprived by human being. For hundreds

years, people cut the trees to make land for their living and farming, wild

human beings break the food link in nature; wild animals can not find enough

food to keep alive. There is no doubt that the destruction of nature has become

homework equally according to the holidays so that I can finish all of them in

time. And during my winter vacation, we welcome the most important festival in

At that night, our family came together and had a big meal. Of course we

春天，是个美丽的季节，湘江两边的树都长了新芽，空气新鲜。有许多爱钓鱼的人都来到这里，他们边闻着百花香，边听着鸟叫声，是多么幸福美满，江面上都可以清楚的看见鱼活泼的身影。

夏天，是个酷热的季节，湘江湖畔都有许多人来乘凉，游玩。所以夏天的湘江湖畔是热闹的。

秋天，是个气象万千的季节，但还是如同夏天一样热闹，有人在放风筝，有的在钓鱼，有的……

冬天是个什么样的季节我就不用说了，肯定是个寒冷的季节，可每天早上还是可见在湘江两畔晨练的人。

尽管近年来湖南省和湘江沿岸各城市投入力度不断加大，但湘江水质恶化的趋势却没有明显改观。

湘江污染难以根治，首先源于沿岸城市的地方保护主义。上游肆意污染，下水处理设游叫苦不迭在湘江已成为一种不争的事实。如湘江长沙段的水质，在经过多层净化处理后仍只能“勉强符合饮用标准”

相对城市而言，环保意识的缺乏在一些经济发展水平较低、地处偏远的地区尤甚。

现在，我已从一个懵懂的小女孩变成一位小学生了，爸爸今天又带我去了湘江，我觉得那儿应该变得更美了吧！但是，我和爸爸都感到很失望，这儿完全变了样，‘哗哗哗，哗哗哗’， 这是什么声音，是湘江，他为什么如此暴怒，我走着，突然看见江上漂浮着许多食品包装袋和果皮，还随风吹来一阵阵臭味，怪不得湘江如此暴怒，我和爸爸一边走一边捡垃圾， 我们拖着疲倦的身子离开了。

可是今天，这一切都变了，不是美丽，不是酷热，也不是气象万千，更不是寒冷，是宁静的。为什么这一切会变成这样，因为人们忘记了环保，都把垃圾倒到“母亲的身躯上”。

在这里我向全中国和世界的人呼吁，爱护环境，就等于爱护生命。

从这以后，我就节约用水，节约用电，同时我也想对大家建议一下：多多植树，节约水电。

我祝愿：我们的母亲河能“长生不老”，恢复以前幽香醉人的风景吧！

I was a shy girl and I never dared to make performance in the public, but

everything will have the exception. Last week, our English teacher gave us a

job. All students needed to make performance in group. I was chosen to be the

protagonist in my team. At first, I told them that I couldn’t make it, but they

believed that I was the suitable person. So I practised hard and tried to get

over my fear. It was my stage. I stood in front of my classmates. With my

teammates, I finished my job. I felt so cool and dared to face so many

people.

Last week, my parents told me the good news that my family would go camping

with my uncle’s family. I felt so excited about it, because I could spend the

whole night outside, which never happened before. When the day came, we brought

the equipment and bought some food. In the afternoon, the two families settled

down, then we started to walked around. My cousins and I rushed to the forest

and went to the highest point, where we can appreciate the whole sight. Standing

on the highest place, I felt so great. The world was in front of my eyes and I

thought of the old poets’ description. At night, we set the the fire and talked

happily. The parents were talking about the family chores and the kids were

playing games. It was such a happy moment for me.
