Nowadays, the world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. 肆虐的洪水像一只只无情的魔爪，几千万亩良田被淹，几百万人痛失家园。浩浩荡荡的江水，每天都在制造大大小小的险情。暴戾的烘魔，酿造大大小小的险情。暴戾的烘魔，酿造大大小小的悲剧…… 如果说古代科学尚未发达，大地子民们对生态的认识有一定局限，做出了只顾当前不顾长远的蠢事，那么现代人又如何呢？自1950年到1980年30年间，全世界有一半以上的森林面积被毁，其中非洲的二分之一林地变成不毛之地。绿色植被是大自然赠于人类的“生命之被”。可是，世界进入20世纪50年之后，人和动物赖以生存的绿色环境遭到破坏，绿色植被正在衰退，全球土壤流失量现以增加到每年254亿吨，沙漠化土壤正以每年5-7万平方公里的速度迅速扩展。

绿色植被被破坏，人类也无情地得到了回报。20xx年春季，我国北方发生的沙尘暴给农牧业、工矿业和人民生活造成的巨大危害，至今想来仍然心有余悸……

所有的一切引起我们的反思，是谁惹的祸？所有的一切无不在提醒着我们：防止水土流失，环境保护迫在眉睫！

“一万年太久，只争朝夕”，失去的已经失去了，再怎么忏悔，再怎么怀念都是无济于事的。就让我们把握现在，手牵手，肩并肩，深深知道“砍一棵树只需三分钟，育一棵树却要三十年”、“人类只有一个地球”的简单道理。“滴水成川，积土成山”从我做起，从小事做起，从大处着眼，以星火燎原之势轰轰烈烈地将环境保护进行到底，共同呵护我们的绿色家园。
