I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. She felt used, abused and unloved, until the gentle Armand Duval came into her life and showed her that he loved her as a person and not for what she could do for him. It must have taken great courage for Marguerite to leave the life she had lived for so long, knowing all along that it was probably too good to be true and would not last indefinitely. And it also showed that Marguerite really loved Armand Duval for she could even change herself for him.

However, happiness didn’t last for long. When M. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumass last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. A person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.

As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. 爱因斯坦在五十年代时曾收到母国以色列当局的一封信，信中诚请他去当以色列的总统。爱因斯坦是犹太人，若能当上犹太国的总统，在一般人看来，自是荣幸至极。出人意料的是爱因斯坦竟然拒绝了，他说：“我整个一生都在同客观物质打交道，既缺乏天生才智，也缺乏经验来处理行政事务，以及公正地对待别人。所以，本人不适合如此的高官重任。”他毅然决然地投身于他的科学研究。他能够淡泊名利，抵挡诱惑，向着心中理想，去追求人生的目标。

为温暖而行

人生在世，应当努力实现自己的价值。“草根慈善家”阿里木，用烤羊肉串挣来的钱去资助那些贫困学生。他说他深知缺乏教育给人生带来的晦暗。多年来，在他的不断坚持下，已资助了上百名学生。网友亲切地称他为：“烤羊肉串的慈善家”。阿里木捐的不仅是钱，更是他那颗赤诚之心，他用善良去诠释了人生，把温暖撒向人间，向着心灵的深处，去实现人生的价值。

人生如文，它需要我们花上一辈子的时间去细细品味，慢慢咀嚼。我们无法预定人生的开始，也无法设置人生的结束，但是我们至少可把握未知的、不可测的命运，去谱写多彩的有意义的人生。

俗话说得好：“初生牛犊不怕虎。”这位年轻工匠就宛如初生牛犊一般，做事没有后顾之忧，敢作敢当。正因为他有一份没有顾虑的勇气，才致使他完美地切分了宝石。

我们在现实生活中也需要这份没有顾虑的勇气，这样我们才能做到完美，做事才能一丝不苟。

伟大领袖毛泽东便有这份胆识和勇气。他在与敌人作斗争时，没有担心这儿，顾虑那儿；有的便是一往直前，毫无顾虑的勇气。正因为如此，才有了新中国的成立，才有了新中国的崛起。

所以，我们得学会摆脱后顾之忧，这才是我们做到完美的第一步。

再说《水浒》里的林冲，原本日子过得顺心的他却被上司陷害，落下了罪名。此时发配远处的他心中虽有不满，却顾虑家人，只好认命。可当奸人想再次陷害他时，他毫无顾虑，只有一颗勇敢的心。他举起了手中的枪，没有丝毫犹豫，为他的不公待遇小小地讨回了公道。

可见，一个人有后顾之忧和没有后顾之忧而有勇气的区别是多大！这两种人，注定了结局一个成功一个失败。

一个人想要成功，首先得去除心中的那份后顾之忧，再是拥有一颗向前的心，一份向前的勇气。

一代田园诗人陶渊明也是如此，他敢于放下。在官场上的他倦了官场上的明争暗斗，不想畏首畏尾的生活，便放下了头上的乌纱帽，重归田园。在当时的人们眼中，他的做法肯定是不智的。而在陶自己看来，他放下了官职，也就放下了心灵的包袱。陶之所以能放下顾虑，是因为他有着直面现实的勇气。

一个犹豫不决的人是成不了大事的，而一个人内心坚定，做事果断往往能够成功。

在现实生活中，不少人都没有顾虑，反而还有着直面现实的勇气。比如张莉莉，她在看到孩子危急时并没有考虑什么，只是一心想救出那个孩子，正因为如此，那孩子才以重生。又比如何月，她甘心出自己的器官，她没有什么顾虑，因为他有勇气为社会做贡献。

我们也要学会放下心灵上的重担，扔掉所有的顾虑，专心做好每一件事，拥有一份敢作敢当的勇气。这样，我们的人生才会得到升化，才会变得完美。

现在，我躺在床上，心里美滋滋的。

尽管内心并不见得有多快乐。但是没办法，这是如同数学公式一般牢不可破的。并不由得人去反抗。我现在所在的地方，是父母在郊区内买的别墅，说是父母，但时常陪着我的也只有母亲罢了，父亲并不常来此。

有时候，我就倚在窗台边，看着远处一成不变的景色。只有当风吹来时，那些梧桐树才会晃上两晃，这样的时候并不很多，每到那时，我就随着它们晃动的幅度一同摇曳中，假装窗外依旧是那一成不变的景色。

可是那一天，我发现我竟没有办法再这样假装下去了。别墅外走过一行人，他们步履蹒跚，衣衫褴褛，步幅与树叶的摆动并不一致，我没法儿与他们保持静止。于是我邀请他们进了我父母的别墅，他们很是高兴，一边接过我递给他们的食物一边一个劲儿地道谢。

晚上母亲回来了。她并不高兴那些人进入他们的别墅，在客厅里大吵大嚷地赶他们出去。我躲在门后，看着他们仓皇离去的脚步和那透着哀伤的身影，心中极为失落。

啊，我太啰嗦了是吧？整个故事完全可以用”一日，余居家中，见路有行人，遂要入，而母赶其出“这一句话来概括嘛。

不过，别着急，这就是作文的特点。

后一天，我又见到了那些人。他们一个个东倒西歪地坐在路边，看上去似乎即将死去。我很不忍心，有心想请他们进来，但又怕母亲会责怪我，不禁感到无助。

但最后，我还是邀请了他们。

我让他们住在我的心里。他们很是高兴，一边奋力挤进来一边一个劲儿地道谢。

现在，我躺在床上，心里美滋滋的。
