Australia is one of the famous Oceanian country. The country is famous for its wool production and seashore tour. As the climate there is warm and comfortable, many people spend vocations there every year. I’m a super fan of water entertainment, so I choose it as my destination.

放假啦!放假啦!妈妈带我去西安玩。听妈妈讲，西安是历史古都，有很多名胜古迹。

第一天，我们来到了兵马俑，听道游姐姐讲兵马俑是秦始皇的陵墓。兵马俑馆很大很大，里面有青铜做的马、马车，还有玉做的铠甲；还有很多的兵马俑是用特制的土做成的，整齐地排着队跟真人一样高大。我们还去了华清池，那里是过去的皇帝洗澡的地方。第二天我们去了“世园会”，见到了各种各样的花草树木，还有民俗表演，我还见到了真的直升飞机。最后，我们去了大雁塔，那是唐僧藏经文的地方；我爬到了塔的第七层，见到了舍利子，妈妈说这样会有好运气。

在西安的几天，我玩的可开心了，还增长了很多知识，以后我还要来!

国庆节我跟几个要好的小朋友一起去了西安旅游，去之前听说那里就是古代的长安，有十三个朝代在那建都，就象我们的北京一样。

到了西安，我们去了大雁塔、茂陵、郦山、大唐芙蓉园、华清池等，不过最让我喜欢的是秦始皇的兵马俑。那里有一号坑、二号坑和三号坑，一号坑就有6000多个兵马俑，二号坑还没有挖，三号坑有60多个。就一号坑也只不过挖了一小半，可就这一小半已让我看得晕头转向，所有的兵马俑肃立的那里，一往无前的气势扑面而来，好象能随时上战场，战胜所有强大的敌人。

所有的兵马俑在挖出来的时候都被压成了小碎片还被人烧过。我看到叔叔在小心翼翼的修复着兵马俑并把它们放回原处，要把这么小的碎片拼成完整的兵马俑，他们真是太厉害了。在他们的身上我学到了他们仔细、认真、耐心的精神，在今后的学习过程中，我一定要改正粗心大意的坏毛病，我一定会做到这一点。

Last summer holiday, I went to HaiNan with my family. The weather was pleasant! The sky was blue more than I could describe, the sea was blue and bright more than I could believe. I went Chong Qing in July 22.It is a city which was built near mountains.

So people call it Mountain City. In Chong Qing,I went to the Red Stone Center, to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past. It is a terrible and awful trip. There are a lot of dogs, and soldiers with guns near the prisons. And most of the prisons are good, they didnt want to tell the bad people where the other people were. They lived in very small houses. No good food to eat, no good water to drink.They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing.

I think they are the heros in that century. I will follow their spirit.

I am planning to spend my summer holiday on sports this year. Playing basketball is always my favourite, so some of my classmates and I will form a small team and play basketball together. Sometimes we may have a match against some other teams and I do enjoy the sense when we win the game.

The Yellow Mountain is one of the most famous mountains in China . It lies in the south of Anhui . Every year thousands of Chinese and foreigners pay a visit there . Its not far from here . It takes you about three hours to get there by bus . You can also go there by train or by plane . As the drawing presents, there is a man walking across the street absorbedly focusing on his cell phone without noticing the surroundings. This sort of phenomenon is not uncommon and rare in some metropolis, especially among the youngsters.

What the picture illustrates is the prevailing situation that has long existed in todays China. That is the mobile phone obsession. With the advent of information age, people are becoming

increasingly fascinated on the electronic products, especially the cell phones. Not surprisingly, you could easily notice that most of us are obsessed in sending messages, playing online games with their mobile phones. It cannot be denied that this phenomenon may negatively impact the relationship among people, and therefore they will become estranged and isolated.

Personally, in view of the overuse of mobile phones, I hold that we individuals should raise the necessary awareness that good relationships are reinforced by sincere and face-to-face

communication.

A new language opens up a whole new culture. A foreign language gives us access to another culture, and our lives take on a new dimension. The great German poet, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, said in 1827: "Whoever is not acquainted with foreign languages knows nothing of his own." Seen like that, learning a language is almost comparable to a journey of discovery - and if we remember the great explorers and the 18th century gentlemans grand tour, you might almost call it a British invention.
