暑假中我读了《草房子》这本书，从书中认识了许多个性鲜明的人物。打开书的第一页，我就认识了油麻地出了名的人物：秃鹤。秃鹤其实是一个秃了顶的孩子。

秃鹤认为自己的秃顶是学生戏弄的对象，自尊心也受到了伤害。

接着认识了善良可爱的纸月，由于她在苍板小学受到了刘一水等三个男孩的欺负，桑桑和刘一水他们在苍板去油麻地的路上打了一架，然后桑乔联合了苍板小学和地方政府向刘一水等几个孩子和父母进行了严重的批评。

漂亮的白雀也给我留下了深刻的印象，还有前后对比强烈的秦大奶奶，从一开始的与油麻地小学为敌，到后来为了保护油麻地的财产——南瓜，把生命献给了油麻地小学，她的善良一次次地打动了我。书中最让我佩服的是杜小康。他曾是油麻地最富有的人家，生长在高大阔气的红门里。一夜之间，他家里变得一贫如洗，学习名列前茅的他不得不辍学在家，和父亲放鸭子，希望一次又一次破灭。但一直生活在蜜罐里的他，在苦难面前表现得分外勇敢和坚强，他没有放弃生活，毅然挑起了家庭的重担，在学校门口摆起了小摊，让每个人都看到了他坚韧之后的美丽与优雅。杜小康与厄运相拼时的悲怆告诉我们：苦难来临时，我们不能逃避，而要满怀希望，微笑面对。

I spent twenty days reading this book. After reading this book, I felt for Heathcliff at first. Heathcliff begins his life as a homeless orphan on the streets of Liverpool, and then he tyrannized by Hindley Earnshaw. But he becomes a villain when he acquires power and returns to Wuthering Heights with money and the trappings of a gentleman. His malevolence proves so great and long—lasting. As he himself points out, his abuse of Isabella—his wife is purely sadistic, as he amuses himself by seeing how much abuse she can take and still come cringing back for more.

Catherine represents wild nature, in both her high, lively spirits and her occasional cruelty. She loves Heathcliff so intensely that she claims they are the same person. However, her actions are driven in part by her social ambitions, which initially are awakened during her first stay at the Lintons, and which eventually compel her to marry Edgar. Catherine is free—spirited, beautiful, spoiled, and often arrogant, she is given to fits of temper, and she is torn between her both of the men who love her. The location of her coffin symbolizes the conflict that tears apart her short life. She is buried in a corner of the Kirkyard. In contrast to Catherine, Isabella Linton—Catherine’s sister—in—law represents culture and civilization, both in her refinement and in her weakness. Ultimately, she ruins her life by falling in love with Heathcliff. He never returns her feelings and treats her as a meretool in his quest for revenge on the Linton family.

Just as Isabella Linton serves as Catherine’s foil, Edgar Linton serves as Heathcliff’s. Edgar grows into a tender, constant, but cowardly man. He is almost the ideal gentleman. 世界最深的地方?也许你我都知道——马里亚纳海沟。在万米的海水之下，在数亿千米的太空之中，人类在向前冲去，遨游着更绚烂的世界，万千奥秘在向探索者挥手。我们在向下掘进，访问着更深的地方，勾勒着更美的篇章。

19世纪中，叶海洋学术界被几次奇怪的现象轰动，船只的屡次毁坏，更引起阿尤纳斯教授等一行人员的关注。在多个国家的强烈要求下，美国政府派出战舰“林肯号”对这只可怕的海洋动物进行抓捕。不幸的是他与其仆人和鱼叉手尼德兰坠入海中，却奇异地进入他苦心抓捕的怪物——潜水船“鹦鹉螺号”中。从此尼摩船长开启一番惊心动魄的海底之旅，去印度洋拯救术珠人，经地中海船长赠重金，过太平洋探访大西洲，穿南极凿冰自救……在系列的游览研究之后……教授又伺机潜逃返回大陆。

这不禁让我重拾起那段艰难的时光，中世纪“地心说”的阴霾笼罩了许多进步的思想，教皇的屠刀也在昏暗中虎视眈眈，世界却似乎并不缺乏勇者，哥白尼“日心说”无疑是当头一棒，唤醒着勇者的心房，布鲁诺的支持给予了世界新生的力量。火刑场上，义不容辞，雄雄的火焰可以略稍掩挡教会的无知，却挡不住真理的伟大，“未来是理解我的!会作出公正的裁判!”布鲁诺的呐喊穿梭在宇宙间，传出新的光芒。与众不同的信念，与众不同的梦想，引领着新一代的人民推翻愚昧，迎来正义的怀抱。未来会记住跋涉的勇者，会记住他们燃烧时发出的煌煌之光。

困难难不倒我们的梦想，封锁不住前进的方向，我们扬帆起航，奔向梦的远方。人类触摸着未知的搏动，梳理着曾经的脉络，在更深的地方，我们怀揣着更远的梦想，水下的蛟龙遨游在海洋，玉兔行走在它的故乡。我们继续前行，探索属于我们的晴空。

这个暑假，我在家重读了“科幻小说之父”凡尔纳先生的著作《海底两万里》，读后我被深深地触动了。

这部小说大概讲述了：人们在海上发现了一只“怪物”，教授阿龙纳斯参加了捕捉行动，但在行动中，他意外落水。后来，他到了这个“怪物”身上，发现这“怪物”其实是一艘构造奇妙的潜水艇，之后他被迫留在了潜水艇中，直到环游海底两万里之后，才将这个惊人的秘密公之于世。

看了这本书，让我爱不释手的不是那一波未平一波又起的跌宕起伏的探险经历，也不是那浩瀚大海中千奇百怪的珍珠贝壳，更不是那临危不惧，冷静沉着的尼摩船长，而是作者那丰富的想象力让我折服。

凡尔纳先生在创作的时候，当时波兰人民反对黑暗的沙皇统治的起义正遭到残酷镇压。那个时代有的“朱门酒肉臭，路有冻死骨”的场景，有的是残暴统治者肆意虐杀的画面，可以想象当时的科技还没有发达，这世上还没有电灯的出现，何况是潜水艇这样的庞然大物，简直是闻所未闻。那么在那个年代，凡尔纳先生又是如何像一个预言家一般，描绘出让人欲罢不能的海底世界和一架先进的潜水艇呢?

相信许多人百思不得其解，答案可能是想象力，在《哲学与当代世界》中有这样一句话“想象力是能动的知识，是创造力和智慧的必要背景”。凡尔纳先生虽没有探索过海洋世界，没有见过潜水艇，但它却能描绘出这么一幅充满诗情画意而又神秘的海底世界。是我们身临其境，这表明了他非凡的想象力。

想到现如今，虽然中国已经走向了科技创新时代，但我们青年人却独独缺了想象力，爱因斯坦曾经说过“人的想象力比知识更重要”。从古至今，中外人民无不拥有想象力：十五世纪的一位威尼斯商人经常出门做生意，又担心妻子会在外风流。一个雨天，他因鞋后跟沾了许多泥而举步维艰。所以他就发明了高跟鞋，让妻子雨天无法出门。但至于后来高跟鞋流传于世，在这也就不细细说了。

没有想象力，生活将会变得平淡无味;没有想象力，文章就会变得千篇一律;没有想象力，整个人就会变得死气沉沉。所以作为新时代的接班人，祖国的花朵，我们就应该培养想象力，好好学习文化知识，将来让想象力变为现实，让我们不负时光，舞出精彩人生!

I had a fun and special holiday。On Monday，I did my homework and read some interesting story－books。Tuesday morning，I went to a big nice supermarket。I bought a lot of food。Then I ate them。Oh，they were yummy！In the afternoon，I played ping－pong with my father。 I won the match。I was so happy。Wednesday morning，I played chess with my mother。My mother won the game。But I was not sad。Because it was only a game。We played，we had fun。Wednesday evening，I watched TV with my parents。My parents are always busy。They have no time to play with me。But that night we were very close，very happy！

I love this special holiday！
