"Jane Eyre" is the British modern literature a significant position of the novel, is the representative of the author Charlotte, he has successfully created a dare to struggle, dare to the image of women, the freedom and equality indeed, after I read this book, I was very moved, also deeply such a defiant, brave heroine infection.

The full text can be divided into four stages: at the home of aunt Reed, at the raund school, in Schonfeld, in Saint John.

Jane was born in England, young when she lost her parents, aunt Mrs. Reed in a dozen years spent at home, but Mrs. Reed not good to her, including her children, even the servants dont love her, her uncle John even often insulted her, perhaps this kind of living environment, give it to her the thought brought great restraint, her behavior is limited, she had to fight. When she had the first conflict with her cousin, Jane said without fear, "your boy is really vicious and cruel!" You are like a murderer, you are like a man who abused others, you are like the emperor of Rome. Although the result of the quarrel was obvious, Janes brave performance, the spirit of resistance, shook any reader.

Because Mrs. Reed did not like Jane and sent her to a school at random, but on the contrary, she agreed with Jane. She didnt want to stay at Mrs. Reeds home.

Jane entered the Rao Wald school. In this school, children, including Jane, suffer from cold and hunger, and be beaten, punished, cut, hair and other insults, meals are very bad, and their living environment is not healthy. A cold can not be timely treatment, destined to a half will take a number of trained typhus infection, the childs life, Jane in such a school, witnessed all her hatred of the school, the schools founder, especially hate Mr Hearst, he is a pseudo word Jun, this school is a hell on earth. Jane in this school had her alumni Helen * Burns said: "when we are beaten we should It is without rhyme or reason., fiercely fought back, I am sure we should fight back, fiercely fought back, the lessons learned that US, that he will never dare such a hit. This will further show the reader her indomitable adherence to the resistance. You have to be convinced.

The third part is the core part of the book, Jane a governess at Thornfield house. For Jane to say that this is a very strange place, is Janes first set foot on the society, contact with the outside world, where Jane met Mr. Rochester, although Rochester is older than Jane, who looks not beautiful, but their thoughts have a lot in common, naturally fell in love with Jane he. Jane does not care about Rochesters vast wealth and fame and fortune, she is a real emotion, a friendly and open, she hopes they are equal between. But when she thought Rochester was going to marry Ingram and wanted to leave her, she said angrily, "do you think I will stay and become your decisive person?

Do you think Im an automatic machine, a machine without feelings... Do you think Im poor, low, beautiful, short, and I have no soul and no heart

You are wrong! - my soul is exactly the same as you... And I talk to you now, and not through the custom, customary, not even by physical, human - it is my spirit that addresses your spirit, just as the two had passed through the grave, and we at Gods feet, equal - because we are equal.

I was moved by this passage. Yes, we are equal. Even if the beautiful and attractive miss Ingram has a good reputation, there is a strong hearted family teacher. Jane also challenges the upper class. After a few twists and turns, Jane and Rochester were finally able to walk together.

Jane had been treated unfairly from childhood, but she achieved her career success and happiness by virtue of her fearless, acting and fighting spirit. I threw her away and wished her a better life.

Though the unfair treatment in todays society may be rare, the spirit of resistance is indispensable to all of us. We must learn to resist and fight against it because we are equal.

I”d never given much thought to how I would die. But dying in the place of someone I love seems like a good way to go. " When reading such moving words, I am completely absorbed in this splendid novel --- Twilight. The person who had said such moving words was a 17-year-old girl --- Bella, who was a high school student. After reading the whole novel, what impresses me most is not the mysterious vampires family, but the kindhearted and brave girl --- Bella. Bella was a 17-year-old girl who has experienced her parents” divorce. In order not to be an obstacle to her mother”s happiness with her stepfather, Bella firmly chose to move into a new city --- Forks to live with her father. Even though she knew that what was waiting for her was the new and strange circumstance, Bella still decided to face all of them fearlessly, which makes me know that Bella is a really thoughtful and considerate girl.

As a matter of fact, Bella was just an ordinary human girl who would grow old as time went by and die one day, but Edward was an immortal vampire who had an exceptional and unique strength of reading people”s minds. Actually, some people may wonder why Edward would fall in love with such a delicate human girl, while others may hold a doubtful attitude towards their love story. However, to my mind, I strongly believe that Bella and Edward can lead a happy life. About one thing I am absolutely positive, they can lead a happy life and they needs to confront with various of hardships and setbacks. But why am I so positive about their love story? Let me have an analysis!

Bella is a kindhearted and independent girl who never goes with tide. She always sticks to her own way of doing everything. On her first day to school, Edward came across with Bella, and at that moment Edward could not move his eyes on Bella at his first sight on her. I clearly know that it was Bella”s unique and special character that drew Edward”s attention. In Edward”s mind, Bella was a natural girl with a kind heart. After several days” struggle, Edward could not prevent himself from caring about her and loving her though he knew perfectly well that it would be a fateful and deadly thing for a vampire to fall in love with a human girl. From this, it can be seemed that what a charismatic and glamorous girl Bella was.

When Edward said to Bella, "I don”t have the strength to stay away from you forever." I know, Edward had already been loving Bella deeply.

When Bella answered "I”ll be with you forever, Edward." I can realize their love has already been surpassed human in human”s innermost feelings.

When Edward said, "You don”t know how long I”ve waited for you, Bella" I know, Bella is the most suitable one for him, only with Bella can Edward gains the real happiness.

When Edward swore, "You”re my life now, Bella." I think all the lovers will be overwhelmed by such impressive words at that moment, as well as I. I know, from then on, Edward would move heaven and earth to protect Bella. There is no doubt that Bella is happy when being with Edward.

To be honest, Twilight is the best romance novel that I”ve ever read. There is no much flourish in it, but there are lots of touching and thrilling plots between Edward and Bella. I still remember every time Bella was in danger, Edward could helped her out in time, which made Bella feel so grateful and become interested in him gradually.

There was a time when Bella was on her way home from a bookstore alone, suddenly a gang of ruffians molested her, Bella felt helpless and hopeless. Fortunately, Edward appeared as a hero and rescued the beauty, Bella. At that moment, I couldn”t help praising, that Edward was such a thoughtful gentleman who cares about the person he loves at any time. No wonder Bella would love him.

Then when Edward told Bella he had a super strength that he could read every person”s mind except Bella”s one. You can not imagine that, Bella”s first reaction to it was --- "Is there something wrong with me?" Hearing that, Edward smiled and said, "I tell you I can read minds, and you think there is something wrong with you." At that time, Edward knew Bella was a kind girl indeed, who would not be worried and scared when hearing such unusual truth, but just try to find the mistakes of herself.

Once Edward took Bella to his home to meet his family members, instead of being afraid, Bella asked Edward what if his families didn”t like her. Edward was so surprise to hear that and said to Bella, "you are worried not because you”ll be in a house full of vampires, but because you think they won”t approve of you? " Then, I know, Bella has never treated Edward as a different kind. May I ask, how can Edward refuse such a kind and lovely girl. When Edward took Bella to fly through the forest in his amazing speed, I think no more girls can refuse such a romantic man.

Bella pursued the true love belong to her bravely, while Edward was giving all his love to the one he loved. I know this is love.

All in all, romantic love always has a happy ending. When Bella went through life and death, when Edward experienced the cruel ordeal, seeing they were dancing romantically at last, I can say their love will be going on.

Its called enzo, a hybrid terrier.

I wait for you in the rain with a dog, tells the story of it, master enzo and Danny together through wind and rain vicissitudes: lonely when Dannys wife died, when her parents against him, when he is in chains and body was suddenly arrested, or when he got sick was disabled car, whether it is happy time, difficult years, still standing watch, no sweet without sweat, zorn, and Danny to each other all the, they through the exchange of mind, convey love each other, and the power of love for each other, let the tragedy to contain. When I closed the book, and her eyes filled with tears, heart like lens at the love scenes.

Enzo eyes, let a person see the ordinary in the warm happiness, weak consistency; So implicit yet affectionate and so difficult but insisted that the value of life is so beautiful, are thick. "I will wait for you in the rain" is a book of gently flap tranquil, but meaningful. "

It "said:" your heart decides what you see. We are the creators of our own destiny."

A lot of things, all in the setback, as long as you have your willpower, your strong, even if there is difficulty you can pass, after the storm, a rainbow will appear, no matter what to do, we strive to the end. Beat all want to overthrow their frustration, defeat fear, go forward!

Why cant do? Because your heart give you draw a line: I must do it. So, you see is the failure of himself. Why dont you open your heart, to find the ideal himself, to one of your goals in the past, it doesnt matter fell, fate is not held by yourself? Climb up, then you will be in front of a piece of light; Decadent, you couldnt get to the end forever.

To have such a pole vaulter, he is very severe, every game can refresh record, world record is created. He once said: "if I knew from the start to do this, then I must cant jump so high now." Yes, because he opened his heart, there is no limit to yourself, to be beyond the limit!

Your heart, decide what you see. We are the creators of our own destiny. Close your books, enzos face seemed to be just around the corner. "Dad, lets go to play." Skill not how, I picked up the racket, heart full of confidence and courage, as tender and considerate enzo looking at me, smile...

Main Characters: The little prince, the pilot, the rose, the fox, the snake, etc.

Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little Prince.

As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. ―I‖, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.

Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before. At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word ―tame‖, becomes his new friend. At the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him. From that the little prince begins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.

At the anniversary day of his descent of the earth, rejecting the pilot’s advice, he goes back to his own planet by bite of a snake. ―It’s too far. I can not carry this body with me. It’s too heavy.‖ he said. He tells his friend, the pilot, he must be responsible for his rose, so he has to go back. At the end the author doesn’t tell us the ending directly. Maybe it’s more significant for us to imagine, and for more, think over.

Can be so great, in return for the remains of people dont understand and exclusion, and selfish people malicious slander. Huge resistance to Margaret and eventually lovers separated, misunderstanding to your most favorite people need comfort to expose her, this is how painful thing? Perhaps really only death can save her. Yes, Margaret died, died lonely, never alive when luxury, countless lovers also forget her before. Before the more sensation of life, death, the more cold and cheerless.

Thank dumas created such a sad La Traviata and lovely beautiful woman. However, in the hope that the dead flower bud from the soil, rebirth again, away from the dark corner, can every day and the sun company, even if no longer so beautiful, dont repeat the tragedy of the past.

Jane Eyre was published in 1847 under the androgynous pseudonym of "Currer Bell." The publication was followed by widespread success. Utilizing two literary traditions, the Bildungsroman and the Gothic novel, Jane Eyre is a powerful narrative with profound themes concerning genders, family, passion, and identity. It is unambiguously one of the most celebrated novels in British literature.

Born in 1816, Charlotte Bronte was the third daughter of Patrick Bronte, an ambitious and intelligent clergyman. According to Newsman, all the Bronte children were unusually precocious and almost ferociously intelligent, and their informal and unorthodox educations under their father’s tutelage nurtured these traits. Patrick Bronte shared his interests in literature with his children, toward whom he behaved as though they were his intellectual equals. The Bronte children read voraciously. Charlotte’s imagination was especially fired by the poetry of Byron, whose brooding heroes served as the prototypes for characters in the Bronte’s juvenile writings as well as for such figures as Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre (2)。 Bronte’s formal education was limited and sporadic – ten months at the age of 8 at Cowan Bridge Clergy Daughters’ School (the model for Lowood Institution in Jane Eyre), eighteen months from the age of 14 at Roe Head School of Miss Margaret Wooler (the model for Ms. Temple) (Nestor 3-4)。 According to Newman, Bronte then worked as a teacher at Roe Head for three years before going to work as a governess. Seeking an alternative way of earning money, Charlotte Bronte went to Brussels in 1842 to study French and German at the Pensionnat Heger, preparing herself to open a school at the parsonage. She seems to have fallen in love with her charismatic teacher, Constantin Heger. The experience seems on a probable source for a recurrent feature in Bronte’s fiction: “relationships in which the inflammatory spark of intellectual energy ignites an erotic attraction between a woman and a more socially powerful man” (Newman 6)。 The Brontes’ efforts to establish a school at the parsonage never got off the ground. Still seeking ways to make money, Charlotte published, with her sisters, the unsuccessful Poems by Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell. Her first effort to publish a novel, The Professor, was also unsuccessful. Jane Eyre, published in October 1847, however, was met with great enthusiasm and became one of the best sellers. As “Currer Bell” Bronte completed two more novels, Shirley and Villette. She married Reverend William Bell Nicholls in 1854 and died nine months later, at the age of thirty-nine in 1855 (Nestor 4-5)。

The story of Jane Eyre takes place in northern England in the early to mid-19th Century. (“Jane Eyre” 151) It starts as the ten-year-old Jane, a plain but unyielding child, is excluded by her Aunt Reed from the domestic circle around the hearth and bullied by her handsome but unpleasant cousins. Under the suggestion of Mr. Lloyd, an apothecary that sympathizes Jane, Mrs. Reed sends Jane to Lowood Institution operated by a hypocritical Evangelicalist, Mr. Brocklehurst, who chastises Jane in front of the class and calls her a liar. At Lowood, Jane befriends with Helen Burns, who helps the newly arrived Jane adjust to the austere

The success of Milton’s Paradise Lost owes much to the depiction of the main epicimage of Satan whose attributes enable him to achieve tragic status. Although Satan may be an epic machine, he is best portrayed as the tragic anti-hero of paradise Lost. The critics in the world have been concerning the image of Satan in Paradise Lost, whose complexity makes the poem more controversial. The reason why the image under Milton’s pen is so complex is that the Satan attracts the poet’s inner force, which drives him to change the people’s traditional ideas and cause resonance of all the revolutionaries.

Satan in the Bible is an image of devil. But in Paradise Lost, Satan challenges the authority of God and want to be free, he is a fighter for freedom. The poet portrayed Satan as a brave hero that went to get rid of god’s domination. In Paradise Lost, the Satan was the most successful image the author shaped. The allure of free will is where the attractiveness and power of Satan"s character lies. Stanley Fish in his essay, ‘The Harassed Reader in Paradise Lost, argues that Satan possesses a form of heroism which is easy to admire because it is visible and flamboyant and that, on that basis, Satan’s attractiveness is only initial. Milton was, undoubtedly, conscious that he was in danger of portraying Satan as too much of a heroic figure and made efforts to be little him through the use of unflattering imagery, and by highlighting his less complimentary characteristics.

Nonetheless, our emotions are still fired. Our first encounter with Satan and his rebel hosts occurs in Book I, when they are recovering from the shock of having been expelled from heaven by the Son after three days of fighting the angels of God. Despite the defeat he has suffered, Satan gains our admiration by displaying resilience in quickly coming to terms with the change in his circumstances, in remustering his forces and organizing the building of his palace, Pandemonium. At the same time he demonstrates his determination not to be defeated and shows true qualities of leadership, persuasively arguing that there is still hope for battle and victory. Satan is convincing in his first speech to Beelzebub, his chief partner in crime, as he declares: What though the field be lost? All is not lost; the unconquerable will, And study of revenge, immortal hate, And courage never to submit or yield: And what is else not to be overcome? That glory never shall his wrath or might Extort from me. Although Satan may be an epic machine, he is best portrayed as the tragic anti-hero of Paradise Lost or, at the very least, a main character who possesses the stature and attributes which enable him to achieve tragic status. In the Greek tradition, the essential components of tragedy are admiration, fear and pity for the ‘hero’, who has to display a tragic weakness or flaw in his character, which will lead to his downfall. It might be argued that the flaws in Satan’s character are such that we should feel no admiration, fear or pity for him, yet he can be seen to inspire these emotions. Satan’s tragic flaws are pointed out in Book I. They are envy, pride, and ambition towards self-glorification. Satan’s pride, in particular, is stressed throughout Paradise Lost.

The poet condemned God through Satan’s words. On the surface, God had given human free will; in fact, he had suppressed the true freedom.Obviously, the poet"s criticism and condemnation of God were out from the social reality of United Kingdom. The tyrant was the embodiment of Stuart. Milton laid his own political tendencies in the great Satan. He portrayed Satan"s resistance as the justice resistance to authoritarian rule and a bold challenge to the violent regime.

I first read "Jane Eyre" in eighth grade and have read it every few years since.

It is one of my favorite novels, and so much more than a gothic romance to me, although thats how I probably would have defined it at age 13.

I have always been struck, haunted in a way, by the characters - Jane and Mr.

Rochester.

They take on new depth every time I meet them...and theirs is a love story for the ages.

Charlotte Brontes first published novel, and her most noted work, is a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story.

Jane is plain, poor, alone and unprotected, but due to her fierce independence and strong will she grows and is able to defy societys expectations of her.

This is definitely feminist literature, published in 1847, way before the beginning of any feminist movement.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons why the novel has had such a wide following since it first came on the market.

It is also one of the first gothic romances published and defines the genre.

Jane Eyre, who is our narrator, was born into a poor family.

Her parents died when she was a small child and the little girl was sent to live with her Uncle and Aunt Reed at Gateshead.

Janes Uncle truly cared for her and showed his affection openly, but Mrs.

Reed seemed to hate the orphan, and neglected her while she pampered and spoiled her own children.

This unfair treatment emphasized Janes status as an unwanted outsider.

She was often punished harshly.

On one occasion her nasty cousin Jack picked a fight with her.

Jane tried to defend herself and was locked in the terrifying "Red Room" as a result.

Janes Uncle Reed had died in this room a little while before, and Mrs.

Reed knew how frightened she was of the chamber.

Since Jane is the narrator, the reader is given a first-hand impression of the childs feelings, her heightened emotional state at being imprisoned.

Indeed, she seems almost like an hysterical child, filled with terror and rage.

She repeatedly calls her condition in life "unjust" and is filled with bitterness.

Looking into the mirror Jane sees a distorted image of herself.

She views her reflection and sees a "strange little figure," or "tiny phantom." Jane has not learned yet to subordinate her passions to her reason.

Her passions still erupt unchecked.

Her isolation in the Red Room is a presentiment of her later isolation from almost every society and community.

This powerful, beautifully written scene never fails to move me.

Mrs.

Reed decided to send Jane away to the Lowood School, a poor institution run by Mr.

Brocklehurst, who believed that suffering made grand people.

All the children there were neglected, except to receive harsh punishment when any mistake was made.

At Lowood, Jane met Helen Burns, a young woman a little older than Jane, who guided her with vision, light and love for the rest of her life.

Janes need for love was so great.

It really becomes obvious in this first friendship.

Helen later died from fever, in Janes arms.

Her illness and death could have been avoided if more attention had been paid to the youths.

Jane stayed at Lowood for ten years, eight as a student and two as a teacher.

Tired and depressed by her surroundings, Jane applied for the position of governess and found employment at Thornfield.

The mansion is owned by a gentleman named Edward Fairfax Rochester.

Her job there was to teach his ward, an adorable little French girl, Adele.

Over a long period the moody, inscrutable Rochester confides in Jane and she in him.

The two form an unlikely friendship and eventually fall in love.

Again, Janes need for love comes to the fore, as does her passionate nature.

She blooms.

A dark, gothic figure, Rochester also has a heart filled with the hope of true love and future happiness with Jane.

Ironically, he has brought all his misery, past and future, on himself.

All is not as it seems at Thornfield.

There is a strange, ominous woman servant, Grace Poole, who lives and works in an attic room.

She keeps to herself and is rarely seen.

From the first, however, Jane has sensed bizarre happenings at night, when everyone is asleep .There are wild cries along with violent attempts on Rochesters life by a seemingly unknown person.

Jane wonders why no one investigates Mrs.

Poole.

Then a strange man visits Thornfield and mysteriously disappears with Mr.

Rochester.

Late that night Jane is asked to sit with the man while the lord of the house seeks a doctors help.

The man has been seriously wounded and is weak from loss of blood.

He leaves by coach, in a sorry state, first thing in the morning.

Janes questions are not answered directly.

This visit will have dire consequences on all involved.

An explosive secret revealed will destroy all the joyful plans that Jane and Rochester have made.

Jane, once more will face poverty and isolation.

Charlotte Brontes heroine Jane Eyre, may not have been graced with beauty or money, but she had a spirit of fire and was filled with integrity and a sense of independence - character traits that never waned in spite of all the oppression she encountered in life.

Ms.

Bronte brings to the fore in "Jane Eyre" such issues as: the relations between men and women in the mid-19 century, womens equality, the treatment of children and of women, religious faith and hypocrisy (and the difference between the two), the realization of selfhood, and the nature of love and passion.

This is a powerhouse of a novel filled with romance, mystery and passions.

It is at once startlingly fresh and a portrait of the times.

Ms.

Bronte will make your heart beat faster, your pulse race and your eyes fill with tears.
