情节在似乎漫不经心的叙述语言中展开，不紧不慢，不动声色，我喜欢那种叙述的节奏，显得非常从容。我想就算几年过后再次去品味这部作品，我也会不厌其烦的，反而更进一步地体会到了其中的韵味和深意。

阿米尔这个富家少爷所犯下的罪行，不也是一样。在面对自己人性中的怯懦、说谎、虚伪、善嫉、矫情、邪恶、自私、自大时，他选择的是逃避，这是一个懦弱无知少年的错误选择。他也为此付出了一生，来自心灵鞭挞、愧疚、恐惧的沉痛代价。

断断续续利用两天的时间把这本书看完了，书不是很长，故事也不是很复杂，读到一半，我便能大致猜到剧情，但还是继续读完了整本书。仔细想来，我入党已有十年，加入公务员队伍也已有八年之久，对于腐败，一直觉得是离自己很遥远的事，近两年来，随着中央反腐的力度和决心越来越大，数不清的大大小小的官员也随之落马，在山西这个重灾区，更是有数位省部级领导落马了，我却从未像今天这样思考过这个问题，我们的党是否为人民的党，我们的权力是否为人民服务，在纷繁复杂的今天，物欲横流，人们都被欲望冲昏了头脑，又有多少党员干部能记得当年入党时说过的誓言，又有多少在位者能记得当年刚参加工作时的一腔热情呢?而如果有一天，我能站在更高的地方，我是否能保持一颗真心去真正行使好手中的权力呢?
