Academic Plagiarism

Nowadays, the problem of academic plagiarism becomes more and more serious. In orderto earn academic titles, some teachers plagiarize others academic papers; in order tograduate smoothly, some college students plagiarize others graduation papers. Everything hasits reasons; academic plagiarism is no exception.

First, college authorities put too much emphasis on papers while conferring academic titlesand graduating students. Second, modern technology makes it unprecedentedly easy to getinformation and materials. Some plagiarists who are morally corrupt cant resist thetemptation and decide to take risks. Third, the system of censorship and penalty are farfrom being strict, encouraging plagiarism to some extent.

Plagiarism causes many bad results. On the one hand, plagiarism infringes original writersright and it is unfair for teachers and students who dont plagiarize. Every Chinese, who experienced 1980s, will remember forever the day November 6th 1981 when the China National Womens Volleyball Team defeated the Japan National Team (the so-called "Toyo Women Magic") with 3 to 2 at the 3rd World Womens Volleyball Cup in Osaka Japan. Thats the first world title for China Womens Volleyball Team. Everyone was shocked by this news. At that time, China had just been out of the "Cultural Revolution". When the news was broadcasted, people burst into joyful tears.

Their victory was the result of all the former volleyball players effort. In 1965,a famous coach of Japan was invited to China to help train the China National Womens Volleyball Team. Seeing both the players conscientious and spirit and the support from the Chinese people, he exclaimed, "Im sure that the China National Womens Volleyball Team will become strong!"

In 1982, the China National Womens Volleyball Team won the gold medal again at the World Womens Volleyball Championships in Peru under the leadership of Yuan Weimin.

In August 1984, the China National Womens Volleyball Team defeated successively the Japan National Team and the US National Team with 3 to 0, and won the gold medal again at the 23rd Olympic Games, which realized the "Triple Crown" dream at the world matches. My Mother

My college is inside the biggest university of Guangxi so that everytime I have to across a big campus to go out. At first Iam upset about that, but later on I get used to it. My college looks modernization in general. When I arrive at the school gate, the first thing is the boys’ dormitory and then is the playground. Look up! I see the canteen. I see the girls’ dormitory turn left. But where is my classroom? I look around but can’t find it. It turns out that it is separated by burrows. It’s strange,right? Our school art festival is held once a year. I think this year’s was excellent because a lot of students and teachers took part in it. I remember 9 months ago, I was in a hurry to prepare for the college exam. I was afraid I couldnt get to my favorite school at the time. But at last I realized my dream. Now I study Chinese in my favorite university, Hanoi University.

After going to college, my life didnt change too much. Because I live and study in Hanoi, so I dont have to leave the family or rent a house. My home is not far from school, just 15 minutes by bike.
