上海科技馆分为好几个展区，有“智慧之光”、“蜘蛛生活”、“生物万象”、“视听乐园”、“飞翔精灵”等等。一进科技馆首先来到底楼的生物万象的动物区，这里都是一些动物的标本，做的比例与真实中一模一样，表现五大洲野生动物原生态展示的“动物世界特展”，有体形庞大的大象，长长的鼻子，蒲扇般的耳朵，有体形优美的羚羊、有英武挺拔的雄狮、有嘴巴巨大的河马、有憨态可掬的熊猫……真是应有尽有，设计人员还运用科技模仿动物的声音，配着发出嚎叫声，给我一种身临奇境的感觉。
