I enjoy singing very much. While singing, my heart as well as my body is

joyful. When Im happy, I often sing out to share my happiness with others. I

also sing out to pour out my bad feelings when Im upset.

I like pop music most, because I want to follow the trend. I prefer soft

music to rock music. Since we may be very tired after a long days work, we need

a rest very much. Perhaps soft music is the best recreation for us. My favorite

pop stars are JJ and Jay Chou. They always make a wonderful performance on the

stage. Their songs are so charming. I admire them very much.

In my spare time, I often sing a song to others. Everyone is so happy to be

my listener, because Im very brave and confident. Even though I couldnt be a

professional singer, I can still get a lot of good fun from singing. Because of

singing, my life becomes more colorful.

This summer, I move to a new city with my parents, and I transfer to a new school. I used to live in the countryside, so my new life is so different from before. The school is a little far from my home, so I go to school by bus. After school, I have many activities in school. Classmates are friendly to me. I learn English now. It’s so interesting that I like it very much. Besides, life in city is different. There are many interesting places to go. At weekends, my parents take me outside. 英语老师姓丁，家在阳曲，可能地理位置有些偏辟，所以考出来不大容易。本来在另一所中学里教高中，后来考入我校，校长让他教初中。这让他十分失望，有时还在学生中露出了像李白一样怀才不遇的痛苦和颓唐。有时又高兴地告诉我们，我们是他教的第一拔学生!?

I really had a busy and happy winter holiday. I did my homework and helped my parents with the housework every day. I like drawing so much that I spent lots of time drawing pictures and read books about drawing every day. I sometimes went to the library to read books and surfed the internet.During the Spring Festival, i visited my grandparents, friends and relatives. We really had a great time together. We talked about the advantages and disadvantages of internet shopping these

days. Some students think its very convenient for us to go shopping on the

internet. The shops on Internet, for example taobao.com, 360buy.com are open for

almost 24 hours a day, so we can buy something we want at any time if we like.

Whats more, we neednt to wait in a queue.

However, some students disagreed with them. We cant see the things while

we are shopping. So we are not sure whether they are good or not Besides, we

In the holiday I went to visit the Yellow River Forest Park togeter with

three of my classmates.It was very boring when staying in the bus for a long

time，which made me doze off all the time，and at some time，I nearly struck my

head on the chair in the front of me.After two hours journery by bus，we finally

got to the park.But to my disappoint，there was nothing interesting here，except

some quiet normal things. Compared with the my school I stayed in，here was very

noisy and messy.

Though the park is beside the Yellow River，the air is still a little smelly

because there are a lot of animals such as horses，cocks and so on here，which

make lots of wastes every day while few people clean them. In a word，the park is

not so good as I had expected，and I felt unsatisfied about it.

Who knows that over-dependence on modern technology could not mean the beginning of the end of human sparks of creativity, spirit, compassion, love and understanding and other good things about a simple and easy life.
