平时，我在家里就是一颗“掌上明珠”，很少做家务活，以致于刚开始扫的时候，有点无从下手。在没干活之前，我发现公用楼梯很脏乱，有一些废纸、垃圾，还有不少灰尘。我不禁生出一丝厌恶之情。然而，我还是动手了。我从上到下，又从下到上，来来回回的几次下来已累得满头大汗、有气无力。我看见三楼楼道非常脏，便连忙拿起扫帚和簸箕，小心翼翼地从楼上顺着楼梯往下扫。扫了很久，在楼梯上跑上跑下的，我的头竟有点晕，一不小心差点摔跤，我的心颤了颤，心想：不扫了。可是看看别的同学已满头大汗了，但仍在努力地扫着楼梯。我下定决心，要继续把楼梯扫完。人们都说劳动最光荣，我自认为这是让自己得到安慰的最好理由，边哼歌，边扫楼梯。

这时楼梯已经干净了许多。望着自己的劳动成果我的心也快乐起来了。忽然间，我明白了这次活动的用意：培养学生热爱劳动保护环境的良好习惯和意识以及乐于奉献的情操。的确，作为一名小学生，是应该具备这些品质的。如果没有了它们，学习再好，也不会是一个全面发展的好学生。于是，我更加有了动力，拿起扫帚，哼着小曲儿，继续认真地扫起楼梯来，虽然过程艰苦但是收获却不凡。

我从这件小事中，体会到了许多。在这里，我想对所有的人说：地球是我家，环保靠大家，没有大家的共同协作，是不可能搞好环卫的。我虽不懂那些高科技，也不知那些高科技的重要性，但我深知一点，有些高科技污染很严重，为什么不改善它呢?我也知道现在正有许多人参与着这个活动，但力量未免有些薄弱，我希望还有更多的人能参与进来，使地球恢复往日的生机!

星期六上午，妈妈要到街上当创建文明城市志愿者，我要妈妈带我一起去。

在街上，我和妈妈一样，胸前佩戴着志愿者的牌子，见到街道两旁的橱窗上有乱贴乱画的小广告就让店主把它撤掉;见到地上有纸屑，就把它捡起来送进垃圾箱。

在一家小商店门前，有一位急匆匆走路的叔叔刚刚把抽完的烟头丢在地上，就被我的一双“火眼金睛”看到了，我连忙跑过去对他说：“叔叔，请您把烟头捡起来好吗?我们要做文明市民”。叔叔冲我笑了笑，连声说：“好、好、好”，并弯腰把烟头捡了起来丢进了垃圾箱。当时，我心里甭提有多高兴了。另外，我还制止了好多起在路边不按停车位停车的车辆。

我们来到新楼的报箱面前，我还没来得及说话，她就迫不及待地拿着小铁棍去抠小广告，我连忙拦住了她，说：“你用铁的，不就把报箱弄坏了吗?简直是帮倒忙!”“也对呀，你这小兔子脑袋想得很周到啊!”她边笑着边拍了拍我的小脑袋。于是，我们都用手抠，虽然手很疼，但看着一个个干干净净的报箱，打退堂鼓的念头早就被我们抛到九霄云外了。“天添帮帮我，这个小广告太难抠了，”我立刻过去帮她，在我们的共同努力下，这个“狗皮膏药”终于弄下来了，不早了，天已经渐渐黑了，我们唱着歌，高高兴兴地回家了。

这一天过得真有意义!

Nowadays， there is a increasing number for people to join in the activities of volunteering。 It’s well-known that volunteering job is making contribution to the society with nothing in return。 It’s like the Leifeng spirit。 However， knowing this， there are still many people would like to devote themseves in this trend。 For instance， the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games has so many volunteers。 They made lots of contribution to the success of opening the Olympics。 Moreover， we can often see that there many students go to geroium to visit the old to bring warm to the lonely people。 Even there are some people’s career is volunteer。 They are ready to help others。 Although the volunteers are much more mon， we still need to thanks them to admire them devoting themseves to the society。

如今，有越来越多的人加入到志愿服务行业。众所周知，志愿者工作是对社会的无私贡献。就像雷锋精神一样。然而，虽然意识到这一点但还是有很多人愿意奉献于这个行业。例如，2008年北京奥运会有这么多的志愿者。他们为奥运会的成功举行做了很多的贡献。此外，我们经常能够看到，有很多学生去敬老院看望老人给他们带去温暖。甚至有些人的职业就是志愿者。他们时刻准备好去帮忙别人。虽然志愿者是越来越常见了，但我们仍然要感谢他们钦佩他们为社会奉献自我。

Nowadays, working overtime is so common in many companies, especially in

foreign companies, private companies, and joint ventures. As far as I am

concerned, there are two main reasons of working overtime. For one thing, there

is indeed too much work to do.

If it is so, the boss should compensate staffs by

paying them as overtime salary or giving them vacations. For another, some

staffs are not suitable for their positions. In that case, the boss ought to

help them to improve their working efficiency. If they are still not qualified,

boss may change the positions for them, or to the worst, dismiss them. Thats

all what I think about working overtime.
