Nowadays, the world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Recently,haze weather has become a usual phenomenon here in large part of China. In modern society， we tend to bee more and more aware of our living environment or physical environment， because we are not clean as before。 So many people now choose their house as to its environment but not its location and expenses to afford it。 As we all know， the environment pollution is more and more serious during these years， what we could do is to make great efforts in protecting environment gradually。 As to government pollution， as to mon people。 We also try to protect it and make it remain clean。 Although we have managed to protect the environment to a certain extent。 It is still a very long way to go。

I am not supportive of the idea that either takes priority. It is necessary and absolutely possible that economic development and environmental protection co-exist, in the sense that both of them are indispensable factors for the prosperity of society.

Economic development is seemingly more important, due to the fact that it creates enormous job opportunities, improves living conditions and increases government revenues. Yet, the above goals can only really be reached on condition that the environment is well protected. And, interesting, it is the economic development per se that provides the money and personnel resources required for the protection of the environment. A well-preserved environment is the groundwork for the economy and in a way promotes economic growth. A fast-development and well-functioning economy calls for a good environment, which offers essential resources, e.g. wood, coal, water, and so on. Once the environment deteriorates, the production process is likely to be disturbed or even halted. What is worse, natural disaster that comes with the worsening environmental conditions might even paralyze the whole economy and pose a severe threat to human life. The pursuit of short-term economic profit is the destruction of our home and that of our posterity.

So economic development and environmental protection are equally important. In this case, we are actually working on an environment-friendly economy.

People plant a great number of young trees in the mountains.When the trees grow big and tall enough,they are cut down by workers and carried out of the mountains to the paper mill where fine paper is made from wood.Then it is taken to every corner of the country and used for different purposes.Some people use paper to copy writing,others use it to write something such as letters,reports and articles.When paper turns out to be of no use,the waste paper is collected and retreated in the recycling factory before being put into use again.

工业水平的提高，工业废水和大气也愈来愈多，废水无处存，就排入江河湖泊，大气没经过净化处理，就排入大气之中。我们脆弱的地球，无情的人们，你们又怎样忍心破坏妈妈的血液呢？

白色污染成为我们的心头大患。人们正在全力阻止这严重的局面，用布袋购物，可是又能改变些什么呢？“早知如此，何必当初”？人们啊，赶快醒来吧，保护环境，减少白色污染，人人有责！

土地沙漠化也逐渐登上了舞台。人们无休止的开垦反而产生了副作用。土地不再适应种植，人们又来开垦，这时，被废弃的土地也就成了半沙漠化的土地，沙漠何愁不能发展呢？

世界上的所有的人们，举起环保的旗帜，来保护世界环境吧，让淡水永存，让人类永存！

家乡变了，真的变了！天空变暗了；小鸟变少了；小河变浑了，就连鱼虾都“躲”了起来。

家乡变的原因还是冒滚滚浓烟的大 烟囱和污水。这几年来，工厂不断的生产，废气从烟囱里冒出来，污水不断从管道里淌出来。还有就是人们乱堆垃圾，把地球的“外衣”破坏了。就这样，家乡被污染了。

小河在哭泣，哭泣自己没有伙伴；小鸟在呼吁，呼吁自己美好的家园；地球在痛苦，痛苦自己没了外衣；

我知道，原来家乡不是这样的。原来的家乡天是一片碧蓝，河是清澈见底，鱼虾自由自在，鸟儿成群飞翔。而现在呢？现在的家乡已不是昔日的家乡了，现在……

小鸟呼吁人类：人类，请你们不要把树木砍伐，让我们无家可归，四处流浪。我呼吁人类：请你们不要把垃圾四处乱丢，让空气变的浑浊，请你们为自己想一想，如果哪一天空气没了，你们会怎么样？

让我们一起保护自己的家园，不要让家园的环境再变难看，而要让家乡的环境变得更美！一起行动起来，为自己创造一片蓝天吧！
