尊敬的贵溪市环保局长：

您好！我是一位擂鼓岭梅园小区的小居民。

近来，因楼下的烧烤店、酒店随意污染环境、排放有害气体，搅的我们不得安宁。楼下一家中等规模的酒店，私自开设后门，还在我们进楼的平台占道洗菜、切菜。酒店还在走廊上搭了一个水池，肮脏不堪，遍地是油、落下来的一些辣椒什么的。

酒店的顾客大声喧闹，猜拳、笑叫声不绝于耳，不时地还扔下来一些垃圾、骨头。烟囱成了摆设，屡屡浓烟飘散在小区内。对面还有几家烧烤店，每当晚上，生意火爆，但我们擂鼓岭梅园的居民就遭殃了。

刺鼻的烧烤浓烟呛得人们咳嗽、流泪，过往的行人也纷纷捂着鼻子赶快避开。不仅如此，酒店的洗菜工也不讲卫生，乱扔垃圾，是我们的道路肮脏不堪。酒店还随意泼洒污水，灌木因经常被污水侵蚀，露出了枯黄。整个小区污水横流，垃圾遍地，满目苍夷。

这样的情况已经大大降低了小区居民们的生活质量，威胁到人们的身体健康。小区的居民们也曾经向您的局并请求处理，但石沉大海，毫无结果。再次，我想向您提出几点建议：

1、对酒店和烧烤店进行一些必要的惩罚措施，给他们点警告与教训；

2、将烟囱修复，每次排放浓烟先过滤一遍让他们懂得保护环境的重要性与紧迫性；

3、禁止酒店随意向小区泼洒污水，将污水处理后正确排放；

4、关闭酒店后门，在厨房里洗菜、切菜，不能占道洗菜，让酒店服务员在餐桌上放警示牌，提示顾客不要乱扔垃圾、大声喧哗；

5、设立酒店专用垃圾桶，将垃圾扔进桶里，不要随地乱扔。

此外，我还发现擂鼓岭许多小区也有类似的情况，无数的居民也在忍受着臭气熏天、肮脏不堪的折磨，生活苦不堪言。

我们的环境污染我们现在的生活比以前好得多，但环境跟以前简直就不能比。以前的空气清香并掺和着花草的芳香，河水清澈见底。而现在呢?汽车排出的废气和工业废气相当多，河水臭气直出。我们大家为了过上好生活，都买汽车，但车主们有没有想过这样的量使用汽车的后果。

有些地方之间的距离非常近，但车主们不想跑，就直接开汽车。假如一辆汽车一天排放一千克废气，那么中国每天大约有几千万辆汽车在行驶，那么一天就要排放几千万千克的废气。这个数目仅显示一天一千克的废气排放量和仅计算中国的废气排放情况。工厂的污染更严重，水和空气都要被污染。大量的废水排入大海和河流之中，以致大量的鱼虾、水中植物死亡和大量的水资源被污染。

我们地球上的资源也在一天一天的减少。大量可回收的品中只有3﹪是被回收并再生的。许多白色垃圾造成了白色污染。我心中的家园是和以前差不多的，可是这是很难挽回的。为了我么大家共同生活了几千万年的蓝色星球？——地球的美好未来而努力吧！

Air pollution is one of the major problems of the modern world.

A great deal of energy is needed to run the factories of modern industrial nations. Automobile, trains, planes and busses need energy, too.

Nearly all of this energy is produced by burning fuels. The burning produces wastes, some of which remain in the air, causing air pollution.

Scientists are finding ways to stop air pollution especially in big industrial areas and densely-populated cities.

They are studying new ways of generating electricity that may be less damaging to the environment. In the meantime, many power plants are being modernized to give off less polluted material.

Also, engineers try to design and locate new power plants to do minimum damage to the environment.

However, it may be that we still have a long way to go before we have a "clean" world.

Nearly all of the countries are trying hard to prevent and control air pollution. There indeed seems to be no end to tasks that environmentalists will be required to do.

People will continually find new ways to control pollution.

随着现代工业的发展和人口的不断增长，水的污染日趋严重。工业污水和生活污水中的有毒有害物质，经过多种途径污染着地面水和地下水，而农药和工业废气、废渣中的有害物质，经雨水的冲刷溶解，也污染了水源。少年儿童饮用了污水后，会引起急性或慢性中毒，以致影响身体发育。饮水中氟含量大时，会得氟骨症、牙齿松脱症。电镀废水中含有很多有毒物质，如未经处理就排入水中，它的危害性极大。饮用水被肠道致

病菌污染后，会引起霍乱、伤寒、肝炎等疾病的流行。

噪声对少年儿童的健康危害极大。生活在城市里，喇叭声、撞击声、轰鸣声、爆裂声、吵闹声以及电视机、收录机等家用电器发出的噪音都会影响孩子们的身体健康。噪音在当今世界上的很多国家，都已成为公害之首。噪音可以使人头痛、昏晕、智力衰退。受噪音影响的时间长了，还可能引起心血管系统的疾病，有时会使血压升高，甚至使人发疯。

据调查，在美国洛杉矶国际机场附近上小学的儿童，每天都听到喷气式飞机起飞和降落的噪音，因而普遍患有持续的高血压症。

我国的环境专家曾对居住在某铁路边的青少年进行过心脏和脑神经健康状况的检查，然后通过电子计算机进行分析，证明噪音会损伤心脏，噪音也会影响儿童的智力发育，吵闹区的儿童智力比安静区低20%，长期生活在铁路旁受噪音影响的青少年儿童健康的危害已经引起全社会的关注。
