Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption,cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. 我看过这样一幅画，画中窒息的人们正在呼吸着那有限的新鲜空气。尽管他们拥有高楼大厦，生活富裕，但却被滚滚浓烟包围着。这幅画给人们敲响了一个警钟：人们，保护环境吧!再不采取措施，人类将会自食其果，付出沉重代价的。

保护环境，远离污染!人们，让我们携起手来，从现在做起，重新建设一个绿色地球吧!为了我们自己也为了造福子孙，为了地球上的万物!

地球的未来就在我们手里了!

在二十一世纪的今天，人类赖以生存的地球环境越来越恶劣，灾难频发，旱灾、洪涝灾害、土地沙漠化、地震、全球气温上升、海啸等等!

过去，以我所受到的信息宣传，简单以为环境污染只是浓烟滚滚，或者水面上漂浮着垃圾、发出恶臭，蚊虫成堆、尘土飞扬等等。但是，今年从网络、报纸、广播、电视、人们的关注里，我似乎明白;现实的情况要糟得多。西南五省大旱，就是我们自己想都没有想到的原因，专家分析：因为在过去10几年中，西南从新西兰大量引进桉树速生林，为了求短期的经济利益，毫无限制的大面积种植，以用来工业造纸，从而导致物种生态环境失衡，形成地下水严重缺失。俗话说，十年树木，百年树人，可这种桉树两三年就成材，是一种巨大的抽水机和抽肥机，不断侵蚀着其他植物物种的生存空间，而当地人却沉浸在多种树就可以保护环境的僵化错误的指导思想中，不断的在往恶性循环上发展，正是这个想到想不到的原因最终导致西南几百年的大旱灾。在报纸上，我看到温总理在一片干涸开裂的耕地上，捧着一颗枯死的禾苗，只说了一句话：“痛定思痛!”

云南拥有大片的原始森林，风景名胜众多，地理环境独特，自古以来就是一个山清水秀，气候宜人的好地方，可是为了种植这种桉树，大量砍伐原始森林，想象这些经过几十年甚至数百年才形成的树木，仅仅是为了去满足最快速度的造纸而被破坏，真是让人可惜，并且痛心。

据说旱灾的另一个原因，就是所有的大江小河都修起了水电站。对这一点我有自己的感受，早两年湘江的水面多么宽广，可是上游修了一个水电站后，下游的水明显减少，甚至连河床都经常露出来，同时影响到了城市自来水的引水工程，我都有这些感受，那些江河里小鱼虾们感受就应该更深了。

前些天报纸上又爆出地沟油事件，报纸上说地沟油是别人吃完的饭菜倒进垃圾桶后，一些黑心商人把这些进行简单的提炼加工后，不但闻不出异味，加入香精后吃起来还挺香，但是对人体危害很大，我现在都不敢随便在外面吃东西了。

环境污染的问题日益严重，影响到了我们生活的方方面面，对此我感到非常的忧虑。

地球为什么会流泪呢？下面让我们揭晓答案吧！

有一天，我发现地球伤心地哭着，就问她："地球姐姐，你为什么会哭呢？”地球答道：”你先去问问自然环境吧。””好的。”我边走边说。我来到小溪边，那里的小草枯萎了，小溪脏的不成样，柳树也被砍断了，周围的一切都暗淡无色。我仔细地看着还有没有小草活着，”嘿！小草，你还活着吗？””嗯，活着。咳~我好口渴！”小草无力地说。”啊，是这样啊，我马上去拿水。”我边说边往家里跑去。

我拎了一大桶水，准备给没死的小草喝。”小草，快喝吧！”我把水给小草。”咕嘟~咕嘟，谢谢你！”小草满足。”不用谢。对了，你和这里的环境为什么会变成现在这个样子？以前还很好看呢！”我疑问。”那是因为溪水脏了，给我喝的水也脏了，所以才会变成这样。至于小溪为什么那么脏你要问她。”小草答道。”谢谢。”我走向小溪边。问道：”小溪，你好，你为什么会变得又黑又脏呢？”小溪伤心的说：”呜呜呜~因为那边有一座工厂，天天排放污水出来，害的我被污染。还有，有人会丢一些果皮纸屑或瓶瓶罐罐的进我的身体。我好难过呀！”我说：”是呀，那些人们一点道德品格也没有，我们不能学他们！这里还有好几棵漂亮的树呢，全被砍掉了！要是我，肯定不会这么做的！”小溪说：”你真是一个善良的人！”我说：”谢谢！”我默默地离开了小溪，来到地球旁边，问：”地球姐姐，我知道了，你是为那些死亡的自然环境而哭的吧！”地球说：”是的，不仅这样，我浑身都脏脏的，好难受啊！”我说：”我一定会叫身边的人保护环境的，我现在就去！”

地球流泪了，请大家做到：保护环境，人人有责！让地球的哭泪变成甜泪吧！

Some people believe that economic development should never be at the cost of the environment.They think the present serious environmental problems are largely caused by rapid?economic development.For example,land resources are shrinking because of the industrial development and the expansion of cities.Deserts are spreading because of over grazing,poor fanning,tree cutting,and strip mining.Our air and water supplies are being polluted by poisonous gassesand waste products.It is important,therefore,that we should take another look at the way in which our industries and cities are developing.

However,other people think it unnecessary to consider environmental problems now and our first priority should always be given to economic development.They believe that environmental problems are inevitable and unavoidable in the process of economic development.They are only the by products of economic development,which can be dealt with later when we have the time and money.

I think the second idea is completelywrong.Our ultimate aim in economic development is to provide a comfortable and happy life for our people.What is the point of economic development if we achieve it at the cost of our environment?There has been much evidence to prove that a balance between the two helps more rapid and continuous development.

我们的家乡现在是多麽美丽，绿色的草坪，五颜六色的小花，公路上那么长的绿化带。看到这美丽的景色，谁能想到我们的家乡原来的模样啊!

原来，我们的家乡遍地的垃圾，说不定你走到哪里，脚下踩的就是别人吃完随手扔的垃圾。绿色植物很少很少，简直少得可怜，这与“森林王国”奥地利相比起来真是天壤之别。而且，如果你走在路上，从身后开过一辆车，绝对能荡你一身尘土。路边的小花小草身上也全是灰尘。

而现在，放眼一望，很少再看见垃圾袋了。绿色植物哪里都有，虽然比不上奥地利的那么多，但也比原来好多了，而且，在我们学校附近，还有许多个小花园，里面种着许多小花大树。走在路上，觉得空气新鲜。

我幻想在未来，出门就是草地，抬头就是大树。站在屋顶上那个远眺，到处是绿色，树木成片成片，每一棵树都是绿色的浪花，每一片树木都是一片海洋。再也看不到垃圾。这样的话，我们也就生活在层层叠叠的绿色之中了。这是不是很美好那，其实，要实现这并不难，只要我们多多种树，保护小花小草，实现这就很简单。

让我们的家乡真正变成零污染吧，让我行动起来吧，不要让这只是幻想吧!

Educationalists say that the environment is the cradle of creation. Students say: the environment is a necessary condition for our study. Each of us is the master of this campus and has the duty and responsibility to safeguard the campus environment.

The quality of campus environment directly affects the work, study and life of teachers and students. Nowadays, on our campus, we still have the food packaging bags, scraps of paper, and beverage bottles scattered by our classmates. Every time the wind blows, the rubbish will dance on our campus, all of which is out of proportion to the green environment on our campus. "Campus is my home, cherish the people", believe no teacher, the classmate hope to learn in the environment that rubbish everywhere, life.

So from now on, we should take good care of the campus environment and conscientiously maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the campus. Develop good hygienic habits, and make the rubbish into bins and bagged garbage. Pick up scraps from the ground at any time, throw them into the trash, make sure the ground is clean, and remind and stop littering. Take good care of the campus public goods, not messy painting and so on.

Everyone can do something for our environment. For me, I should try to save electricity in my daily life. For example, if I am the last person leave the classroom in the evening, I will always remember to turn off the lights. In order to protect our forests, I will use paper wisely. I should try to use both sides of paper whenever it is possible. I will not use things like paper cups and disposable chopsticks because they are made of wood. I believe that doing all these small things will improve our environment and help make our world a better place to live in.

在这个物质和科技都飞速发达的二十一世纪，汽车，已经成为各家各户所必不可少的一部分。那么，汽车究竟给人类带来了什么呢？

convenient，便捷。从封建社会开始，人们出门办事都需要靠自己的双腿，这对于当时生活节奏就已经逐渐快速的人类来说，是十分繁琐且不便利的，于是，汽车诞生了。这让人类的出行便捷得到了质的提升：双腿不再疲劳、时间不再浪费……

time，时间。人们都说时间是金子，在以前人类还是双脚出行的时候，就相当于是在浪费金子。汽车的出现，使行走在路上的时间得到了一个巨大的浓缩，从以前的走路几十分钟到现在的几分钟，汽车给人类节省的时间不是一时半会儿能算清的。一年三百六十五天，几乎天天都要出行，如果每天都节省了十分钟，一年也就节省了差不多两个半天，想想看，这个两个半天可以多做多少事啊？况且汽车给人类节省的不只是每天的十分钟。

distance，距离。相隔两地的亲友之间如果长久不见面不免有些生疏，汽车的介入，使这个问题根本不需要介意。汽车的速度很快，每小时可行五六十公里，如果想要出门见亲友，往往都只是两三个小时的时间，在以前可都是要走上个十天半个月的，这样，不仅不用担心因为距离的问题而忘了自己什么时候有个三姑二姨的问题，而且缩短的不仅是实质的距离还有人与人之间的距离。

空间、工作、方式……汽车给人类带来的好处数也数不清，但在这利益面具的背后，又隐藏着怎样的祸患呢？

erosion，侵蚀。自从汽车诞生以来，为了汽车的通行，全球各国修建了数百万及至数千万公里长的公路，其占用的土地总面积一定相当惊人。然而，为了经济发展和出行方便，公路又不得不修，汽车，正在侵蚀着地球上仅存的绿色。

destroy，毁灭。为汽车所修建的公路，是裸露的、没有植物覆盖的黑灰色公路网，就像是面积庞大的超巨型太阳能集热器，正贪婪地吸收着巨大的太阳热能，并将热量传递给周围的空气，使之气温升高，这种现象在城市犹为明显，被称为热岛效应。全球气温的迅速变暖，除了温室气体的大量排放外，是否也与此有一定的关联呢？公路修的越多，对环境的破坏作用就越大，再加上人类生产活动占用的大量土地，问题就越发严重了：这实际上就是一个减绿增碳的恶性循环！另外，生产汽车本身也要耗费大量能源和资源，从而更加增大了温室气体的排放量。而全球变暖导致的冰川融化，海平面上升，是人类目前正面临的最严重的威胁之一，不能不令人深感忧虑。当看到目前一些汽车生产厂正为汽车销售量沾沾自喜的时候，我却为人类的未来而担忧：他们考虑到我国的环境承受力了吗？假如我国的人均汽车保有量接近或达到美国的水平，那么离人类自我毁灭也就不远了！这并不是危言耸听，而是人类应该深思的问题。

有光，就必有影。汽车给人类带来的究竟是什么？汽车的存在到底应不应该？这些问题，只有时间能告诉我们。

随着科技的发展，人们的生活水平也越来越高，环境问题也越来越严重了，你们发现了吗?

咱们就来说说水被污染的问题吧!加油站和其他工厂总是把未经过净化处理的水排放到河里，导致小鱼没有了家。我们国家有百分之五十一的人都无法用到干净的水，这样的数字难道不可怕吗?所以节约用水已是迫在眉睫，你还在浪费吗?

我们再来说说树木减少的问题吧!现在好多树木已经被我们砍伐叻，所以沙尘暴来了，洪水来了，大自然来报复我们了。我们都知道使用的一次性筷子都是用树木做的，如果我们每个人每天可以少用一双一次性筷子，一年下来就可以保留千万棵树木，看到这时，你还在放肆自己的行为吗?

我们再来看看那天空，蓝蓝的天不见了，白白的云也藏起来了，是真的没有了吗?不是的，它们只是被工厂排放的浓烟给“保护”起来了。

这些都是水造成的呢?都是我们人类自己，如果不乱砍伐树木、垃圾，合理排放净化过的污水，相信我们的地球就会很美。保护地球人人有责，让我们一起来保护环境吧!
