我的家乡在荆州。平时，我对家乡的环境也不大了解 。这几天，我们班组织同学们进行了一次综合实践活动，对家乡的环境进行了一次调查，调查的主要对象是荆州的护城河。这次调查让我受益匪浅。

通过实地调查和上网查资料，我了解到以前的荆州护城河污染十分严重。护城河两侧共有二十多个排污口，每天城区的生活及工业污水排入护城河，直接排入的总污水量约5万立方米。因此，河水变成了浑浊的墨绿色。居住在附近的居民和过往的行人也很不爱护环境，把垃圾随随便便仍进河里，使河水的污染进一步加重。由于护城河是死水，无法流动，河底淤泥非常多，水面上漂浮着大量的蓝藻，河底的沉积物散发着臭味。人们从这里经过，都要捂着鼻子，加快脚步。

护城河的污染成为了荆州人的心中之痛。在广大市民的期盼下，市政府对护城河进行了彻底的治理。经过清淤、补水、截污、绿化……护城河面貌焕然一新。

2030年的一个清晨，机器保姆叫醒了我，我懒懒地从被窝里爬了出来，穿上衣服，机器人又把我请到洗手间，正当我准备刷牙洗脸时，一滴脏水滴了下来，正好滴在我的身上。 我生气了，抓起一根木棍咚咚咚！上面的裂口更大了，哗！的一声，一大股脏水泼洒下来，淋了我一身，我仿佛洗了一个凉水澡，浑身湿淋淋的。啊！我的衣服！还有我用五百元买的裤子呀！我又生气又伤心的大喊着。机器人看着我这狼狈不堪的样子说：主人，您知道为什么水会这么脏吗？那是因为你们乱丢垃圾，水都被你们污染了，所以才会那么脏的。

我恍然大悟，跑到窗户边一看，啊！太可怕了；外面飞沙走石，河水从清澈见底变成了浑浊无比；水里的鱼都死了，只有一些生命力顽强的水草还勉强活着，但很快就奄奄一息了。田野上到处都是垃圾，枯草，枯树。一副死气沉沉的画面摆在眼前。 我急坏了，赶紧提上包就要走。慢着主人，今天有酸雨，请装备好泡泡防护罩。好吧。我用时尚泡泡机吹出了一个大大的泡泡，我钻到里面去，提上包就去上班了，一路上全是垃圾，真的很恐怖！ 真希望人们不要胡乱丢污染了。

一天，小燕子飞在小河上空，远处工厂的烟囱里冒出一股股灰烟，遮着了太阳和蓝天。

漂着垃圾的小河里，小鱼探出头来，它问道：“你知道为什么河水那么脏吗?”小雨嫌弃的看着自己身边的漂浮着的垃圾。

小燕子叹了口气说：“那是人类不爱护自己的家园造成的。”

“我真羡慕你，如果这个地方受污染了你还能飞到另外一个地方，而我却只能呆在这里。”小雨无可奈何的说。

小燕子悲愤的说：“人类难道不知道是大自然抚育了他们，他们难道不应该和我们一起保护大自然吗?”小燕子越说越激动!

小鱼的情绪也波动起来，忧心忡忡的说：“地球是我们共同的家园，我们大家应该一起呵护它!

小鱼又说：“我们虽然无法改变环境，但我们可以改变自己的心情!”小鱼说完尾巴一翘就游走了。

现在我们杭州有好多好多的地方都被污染了，最近，我了解了西溪河的污染。

我听妈妈说，在60年代前，西溪河是清澈见底的，河里的水还可以当饮用水喝。西溪河生机勃勃，因为河里有小鱼、小虾……还有水生植物，如：水葫芦、金鱼藻、浮萍、荷花……可是几十年过去了，我们的西溪河已经变样了，清澈见底的小河不见了，人们随手扔垃圾，让清澈见底的西溪河变得越来越脏，越来越臭。直到现在，环境才有些改善。但是，还是有河水发臭变脏的现象，我总是可以看到环卫工人在打捞淤泥，看起来平静的水面清澈见底，但是在河底还是很肮脏的。

我们应该节约用水，用过的水还可以用来洗手。就让我们一起努力，让我们的家园变得更加美好!

随着地球资源的渐渐减少，呼吁环保的呼声日益增多。但是仍有大部分的人类肆意的破坏着生态平衡。有人高呼环保，背地里却干着见不的人的勾当；有的厂家对外宣称合理排行污水，却把江河当做污水排放厂······随着人类社会的高度发展，人类已进入了空前的文明时代，但我们面前的却是乌黑发臭的河水，成片的沙漠，光秃的土坡，作为90后的我们，应该把环保做的更好。

白色污染

伴随着人类生活文明的进步，白色污染日愈严重起来。塑料袋，塑料包装等虽是我们日常生活中必不可少的东西，它价格便宜，质轻，耐用，防水的几大特点被人们所看好。在中国的市场极大，我国也是世界上十大塑料制品生产和消费国之一。但处理这些东西比想象中难得多。一般塑料垃圾在自然界停留的时间可达200~500年。所以对于塑料类制品我们要抵制使用。

汞污染

汞是唯一在常温下呈液体的金属元素。俗称朱砂。汞可溶于水，空气中。它巨大的毒性令人谈之色变。它主要来源于电池等物品。据统计1970~1979年全世界直接向水体排放的汞总量达1.6万吨！排向大气的汞量也达10万吨。当水中或空气中的汞浓度过高时，会导致树木枯死，人类患上因汞摄入过高引发的病症，如日本南部九州湾有一个叫水俣的小镇，这里居住着4万居民，以渔业为生。1939年开始，日本氮肥公司的合成醋酸厂开始生产氯乙烯，工厂的生产废水一直排放入水误湾。该公司在生产氯乙烯和醋酸乙烯时，使用了含汞的催化剂，使废水中含有大量的汞。这种汞在水体中，被水中的鱼食用，在鱼体内转化成有毒的甲基汞。人食用鱼后，汞在人体内聚集从而产生一种怪病：患者开始时，只是口齿不清，步履蹒跚，继而面部痴呆，全身麻木，耳聋眼瞎，最后变成神经失常，直至躬身狂叫而死。1972年据环境厅统计，水误镇共患水误病180人，死亡50多人，就在新线县阿赫野川亦发现100多水误病患者，8人死亡。据报到，患者人数远不止此，仅水误镇的受害居民，即达万余人。

环保事业说大很大，说小很小。往大的说，可以造成成片的水域污染。往小了说，只要我们每人从身边的小事做起，人人环保低碳，环保事业也可以是一件很小的事。如果我们少用些塑料袋，少乱丢些垃圾，那么这个世界上便会少些随风飘舞的白，多些生机勃勃的绿；也会少些乌黑肮脏的河，多些碧蓝清澈的湖······

如果我们每个人在地上看见一个塑料袋不是直接走过，而是弯腰拾起；如果我们每人不是随意乱丢垃圾，而是做到合理分类垃圾；如果我们每人都少用些塑料袋，多用些环保袋。那么我相信地球母亲会少些愤恨的泪水。。。。。。
