今天是军训的第八天。经过前两天军事理论课和消防课后，训练有重新步入正轨。

Firstly,there is no doubt that most of the people tend to spend almost entire life in just one familiar city.They know every street,every corner and every store.If they have something repaired,they know the right place to go.But now,everything changes in the new place.So it is hard for emigrants to adjust in physiology and psychology.What is worse,there is even no friends who can provide enough support.In this situation,naturally the instinct drives them to live with others of their own ethnic background.Because the same race always means similar diet,similar language and habit.Under the circumstances,emigrants are able to adapt to the new environment easily.Otherwise,the conflict resulting from the complete contrast certainly arises.It results in the bad influence on the quality of life.That is what we do not want to confront.Why do we desire to emigrate? We just expect to lead a better life.

Secondly,the emigrants always go with the whole family including the elder.As we all know,after retirement,it is usually that the aged chat with each other about things in the past.For them,talking about trivialities is an essential and necessary way to enjoy themselves.However,assuming that persons around them are different ethnic in the new community,how can our parents or grandparents communicate with neighbors.After all,in accordance with the statistics,over seventy percent of the elder cannot speak foreign language especially in Asia.In addition,the fact that the majority of emigrants coming from Asia is well-known.Therefore,how to help the aged avoid loneliness is a serious problem which should be solved in time.I reckon that the best way is to live with people of the same race.Thus all old men benefit from the familiar language.Or,if they have nothing to do but to stay at home all the day,the harmony of the family will be affected sooner or later.

All in all,in my opinion,the more familiar,the better.So emigrants ought to live with others of their own ethnic background.

My Life in Winter Holiday

Ihave a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as well asfocus on my study. As it’s known to all, the Spring Festival is the mostimportant in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate it.Therefore, I finished my homework first, so that it won’t bother my enjoymentduring the festival. I finished my home work in one week. And I went shoppingwith my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then,it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. Myparents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinnerwas so delicious that I ate so full. In the next several days, my parents and Ivisited our relatives and friends or they visited us. Sometimes, we went outfor fun together. We children were always the most excited. 教官对我们是严格的，他不断纠正我们细节上的错误。比如说他会时刻提醒我们立正的时候要把中指紧贴裤缝，要抬头平视前方。这样才能体现一个军人的真正的灵魂。

同时，教官对我们又是关心的。他会时刻注意我们的神情，如果有同学脸色不好，教官便马上命力她休息。

众所周知，军训是大学生活中一项十分重要的活动，是每个大学生都必须经历的。其实，说到军训，同学们想必都不陌生。初中、高中入学时，学校都会组织新生参加军训。现在回想起来，当时的点点滴滴都还历历在目。那些可爱的人，那些有趣的事，当时的辛苦与欢乐。都依然生动而清晰，一切都仿佛就发生在昨天似的。

然而，眼前的大学军训对于我们，却又都是完全陌生的。面对这未知的挑战，不知同学们此刻的心情如何呢?是对即将来临的艰苦训练怀有一点小小的恐惧，还是在忐忑不安中又跃跃欲试?我想，更可能是两者都有吧。

纹丝不动地挺直身子，站在空旷的操场上接受炎炎烈日的暴晒，间或伴着魔鬼教官的口令，重复枯燥乏味的立正、齐步走、跑步立定等动作，想必这就是大多数同学对于军训的印象吧，坦白说，这些内容的确是无趣并且折磨人的。也正是因为这样，有些同学就会在心底产生对军训的不理解甚至抵触的情绪。

想来也是，这仅仅十天的军训对个人的成长能产生多大的帮助呢?高温酷暑中的短期高强度训练对青年的身体健康是利大还是弊大呢?简单得不能再简单的队列操练，对于祖国的国防建设，又能起到多大的实际作用呢?

既然存有那么多的疑问，我们为何还必须接受军训，军训的意义又究竟何在呢?

大学生军训的重要意义，首先在于它是履行法规的一种形式。

大学生接受国防教育，参加军事训练，学习军事科学知识，是法定的公民义务。我国现行的《中华人民共和国兵役法》第43条规定：“高等院校的学生在就学期间，必须接受军事训练”。我国新颁布的《中华人民共和国国防教育法》第15条规定：“高等学校，高级中学和相当于高级中学的学校应当将课堂教学与军事训练相结合，对学生进行国防教育。” 这些规定从法律的高度明确了高等学校学生在就读期间接受军事训练，学习军事科学知识的责任和义务。国家兴亡，匹夫有责，自觉接受军事训练，努力学好军事科学知识，正是青年学生履行保卫祖国的神圣义务的具体行动。大学生应自觉地承担起这一光荣的职责。

大学生军训也是培养人才素质的重要措施。

当代大学生，尤其是独生子女、来自大城市的同学，或多或少都有诸如：以自我为中心，缺乏吃苦耐劳的意志品质等这样那样的缺点与不足，而这不仅妨碍了个人的成才，也不利于社会的发展。通过军事训练，着重提高学生的思想政治觉悟，激发爱国热情，发扬革命英雄主义和集体主义精神，增强国防观念和组织性、纪律性。掌握基本的军事知识和技能，为造就社会主义四化建设所需的各类人才，为把学生培养成为有理想有道德有纪律的社会主义新人打好基础。

军训的重要意义还在于它是加强国防建设的需要。国防观念是一个国家现代文明的标志之一。它不仅是保卫国家利益的思想基础，而且是增强民族向心力、凝聚力的强大精神力量。大学生接受国防教育，参加军事训练，学习军事科学知识，有利于提高全民国防意识，振奋民族精神，也有利于加强国防后备力量建设。大学生是我国人口文化构成中，科学文化素质较高的群体，抓好大学生军事教育与训练有利于国家重点储备一大批既掌握一定的军事科学理论和军事技能，又精通现代科学技术知识的专业人才和后备军官队伍。这对于国家在未来高技术战争中夺取反侵略战争的胜利，有着特殊重要的意义。

I think there is more than one reason for this. Dishonesty may be one but not the major one. So many students are not able to find a well-paid job. How can they pay the loans back? To solve this problem, I think the government should make efforts to get the whole economy go smoothly, creating more job opportunities.

I want to be a famous writer in the future.I like to write stories for kids.The stories will be short and funny.My teacher said I was good at writing.But I still need to improve my English,too.Then I can write stories in English.So the kids from all over the world can read my stories.

我不知道是不是时间过得太快了。大学生活给了我很多的感受。

上大学，是人生的一大转折点，我是怀着喜悦的心情来到这座美丽的校园的，这里有朱自清笔下的“荷塘月色”，有郁郁葱葱的树林美景。有新生的好奇，也有毕业生的忙碌。

今年暑假去了广州，开学的时候才回来。离开喧嚣的城市来到嘉园，一切都显得那么的平静、那么的安详，它使我忘记了暑假时候的心烦意乱。大学校园就是这么的静谧，静静的林阴小道，静静的小山，静静的周溪河。有时候静也使得我体会到大学生活别有的那番韵味。真的算不错的啊!

有一种说法是“小学生是一班班的，中学生是一堆堆的，大学生是一对对的。”这个观点我是很认同的。我班里的一些人都认定我有女朋友了。其实我没有的。我只有一个比较要好的女性的朋友。我把她的相片发过给我的高中同学看过，她们都说是个美人来的。其实我倒是不觉得她很美丽，我觉得她是很可爱的那种类型的女孩子。托尔斯泰说过：“人并不是因为美丽才可爱，而是因为可爱才美丽。”我觉得在我青春跳动的心里，在灵魂深处有了轻轻的爱的萌动。但我很没用，我什么都没有表示，只是默默的关心着她罢了!

在一般人看来，我是一个相对算是比较安静的人。其实，我也喜欢动的，我喜欢让青春的脉搏在舞曲欢快的节拍中跳动，让自己陶醉于英语角的欢声笑语中，平常我也会一有时间就爬爬山，跑跑步，有时候逛街也能让我不亦乐乎。或许大学生活就是如此的轻松与无忧无虑。时间过得真的是很快，离放假的日子又只有两个月的时间了。却突然希望时间可以过得慢一点。
