我不停地扇动扇子，风扇也不停在工作。由于天气的原因，我和弟弟都躲在家里，悠闲得很。外公见我们一副无精打采的样子便对我们说：“湛仔，你俩是否可以帮我到菜地里拔些萝卜回了呢?想煮些萝卜来解解暑”我俩迟疑了一会，天知道，太阳那么猛我会变“烧猪”的。弟弟也摆出一张苦瓜脸。外公看透了我们的心思说：“那今晚就吃青椒咯!”Oh!不!讨厌的青椒!我俩不得不开工咯。

菜地里，有各式各样的蔬菜：葱啦，豆角，南瓜，还有……瞧!萝卜在嘴角落的地方。我找到一个小小的，蹲下啦不费吹灰之力就拔了起来。外公见了说：“清清，拔这么小的，你带算给谁吃呢?”我吐了吐舌头，又找到一个，中型的。我抓住叶柄，成半蹲型，拼命用力拔。可是我怎么拔也拔不出来。突然，我灵机一动，可以用铲子啊!我向泥土里挖，土应该松了点吧。这次我双手抓住叶柄，身体成准备起跑的姿势，眼直勾勾地锁定目标。想在警告它：你快给我出来!我努力地拔，可仅仅拔出一点点。不过，我并没有放弃，使出九牛二虎之力。发出怒吼：“呀!”啊!出来了，可我却摔疼了。我吸取前面几次的教训，再次“挑战”大萝卜。我让弟弟拉我一把。在我俩的天衣无缝的合作之下，大萝卜也乖乖向我俩“投降”。我拿着手中的“胜利品”，露出8颗以上的洁白牙齿，嘴成一定的弧度，我笑了……

那次的经历，是我成长了不少。让我懂得了如何战胜困难。我明白了：失败乃是成功之母。只有不断努力才能看到成功之路;只有不断坚持，才能触摸成功之路;只有吸取教训，才能踏上成功之路;只有勇于挑战，磨练，才能成功!

The happiest memory in my childhood was making snowman with my friends. As

I was a little boy, I always went out with my friends to make snowmen and play

with snow when it snowed heavily. We divided ourselves into several groups, two

or three people in each group. Then, we began to make our own snowman. We used

buttons to be snowmans eyes and carrots for its nose. After making our snowman,

we compared ours with others’ to decide whose snowman is the best. Sometimes, we

wrapped our scarfs around snowmen or put our caps on their head, so as to make

our snowman more beautiful. The last time I making a snowman was when I was in

university. But it snowed rarely these years. Thus, making snowman has become

the long-lost fun for me. How I hope it would be snowy this winter!

China has long been known as “the land of ceremony and propriety.” Today however people often complain that public morals are no longer what they used to be. A family for example likes a cell of society which also mirrors the general mood of a country. As we know the Chinese have very strong family ties. But with the emergence of a “modern” concept to families people find that problems like high divorce rate and extramarital affairs become more serious than ever before.

The Value Of Time

I always think there is not enough time. For example， I have just taken a three-day holiday. But when I look back， I just feel that it‘s only one day. There goes a proverb， “Time is money”。 Now I want to say， time is more precious than money， because when money is spent， we can earn some more again. However， when time is gone or lost， never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it‘s a pity that I am always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

So I think， I should get into the good habit of saving time because wasting time is equal to wasting one‘s life. Do not put off what can be done today till tomorrow!

漫漫人生路，不可能总是一帆风顺的，难免会遇到困难与挫折，这时，就需要我们乐观的面对，需要我们用顽强的毅力去面对，去克服遇到的困难!

记得四年级开学的时候，由于我是乡下学校转来的学生，基础比较差，又由于英语换了新的教材，所以我的英语一点儿也跟不上，上课如坠云雾之中，别人跟着老师的思维转，回答问题时，那一只只小手举得高高的，同学们满脸的欣喜。而我却缩在桌子下难过，一心想逃避老师的问题。

我想放弃学好英语，但那次英语考试却令我幡然醒悟。那是转学后第一次英语考试，我看见只有72分，这是一个极差的分数，望着试卷上的一个又一个鲜红的大叉，犹如一根又一根的锥子扎在我的心上。它来得如此急促，似乎很快就要冲毁我那颗还很脆弱的心灵防线。我被这突如其来的“灾难”吓懵了。犹记得，小学里的英语全是100分，而今天，我决定不再放弃英语，我不愿就此罢休，我不愿破罐子破摔。我不甘心，我不服输，为什么别人比我好，为什么照样有人能考到98分，而我为什么不能，我又不比别人笨，别人也不是什么天才。我不甘心这样输掉，不能向英语低头，别人能做到的我一样能行，我一定能克服困难!

于是，我决心把英语学好。我为自己定下了一系列的规定：课前一定要预习，课上是关键，一定要认真听讲，课后至少花1小时巩固，整理笔记。我不懂就向老师和同学请教，一次不行，再请教第二次。我狠下心来，为了英语，为了我的决心，我必须花比别人更多的时间，更多的精力。别人读一遍，我至少读三遍，别人答题一遍，我必须答题2遍。我一直在付出，努力，奋斗。

卡夫卡与小女孩的故事

1923年春天的一个午后，一位中年男子神情疲惫地走在柏林的一条大街上，他患有严重的肺结核，生命对他来说已经所剩不多。 一个小女孩坐在地上，哭泣声引起了他的注意。小女孩丢失了心爱的洋娃娃，那个洋娃娃是她用积攒了一年的零花钱买的。
