在1990年，随着国家呼唤教师下乡服务人民，越来越多的教师下乡从事他们的教育事业。人们高度评价教师，因为他们把自己的青春奉献给了教育事业。我在实习的时候认识了一名乡村教师，在乡村的一个月里，我觉得孤独和无聊，开始敬佩乡村教师。他们很伟大，选择在他们最好的年华下乡，放弃了城市里优越的生活。我想知道是什么让他们做这个决定。我认识的那个教师说他们以为会在这里呆个几年，但是随着时间的流逝，他们觉得孩子需要他们，所以决定留下来。我很佩服他们，他们是真正伟大的人。

在这个有着五千年灿烂文明的礼仪之邦，在这个有着足以与古伊拉克两河文明相媲美的古老文明历史的国度里，诚信却在逐渐消失。奶粉中的三聚氰胺，是对爱幼的讽刺;食品中的地沟油，是对健康的嘲笑;月饼中的陈馅，是对“嫦娥奔月”的亵渎。于是，我们在这纷繁喧嚣的世界学会了提心吊胆地生活，学会了人人自危的忐忑。

诚信是安国立邦之本。春秋战国时期，秦国有一商鞅在秦孝公的支持下主持变法。当时处于战争频繁、人心惶惶之际，为了树立威信，推进改革，商鞅下令在都城南门外立一根三丈长的木头，并当众许下诺言：谁能把这根木头搬到北门，赏金十两。百姓不相信这轻而易举的事能得到如此高的赏赐以致没人肯出手尝试。于是，商鞅将赏金提升至50金。常言道：重赏之下必有勇夫，终于有人站起将木头扛到了北门。商鞅立即赏了他五十金。商鞅的举动，在百姓心中树立起了威信，成功地使他的变法在秦国很快推广开了。新法使秦国渐渐强盛，最终统一了中国。

周幽王有个宠妃叫褒姒，为博取她的一笑，周幽王下令在都城附近20多座烽火台上点起烽火——烽火是边关报警的信号，只有在外敌入侵需召诸侯来救援的时候才能点燃。结果诸侯们见到烽火，率领兵将们匆匆赶到，明白这是君王为博妻一笑后又愤然离去。褒姒看到平日威仪赫赫的诸侯们手足无措的样子，终于会心一笑。五年后，酉夷太戎大举攻周，幽王烽火再燃而诸侯未到——谁也不愿再上当了。结果幽王被逼自刎而褒姒也被俘。

一个“立木取信”，一言九鼎;一个为得美人一笑，戏玩“狼来了”的游戏。前者变法成功，国富民强;后者自食其果，国破人亡。可见，谁对命运不诚，命运就将对他不信。

海涅说过：“生命不可能从谎言中开出灿烂的鲜花。”的确，没有眼泪的眼睛是干涸的，没有光亮的夜晚是黑暗的，没有诚信的人生是苍白的。

诚信是安身立命之根。秦末的季布极讲信义。只要是他答应过的事，无论有多困难，一定要想方设法完成。当时流传着一句话："得黄金百，不如得季布一诺"。因季布曾是项羽的得力干将，故刘邦下令，只要谁能将季布送至官府，就赏以他一千两黄金。但季布凭重信义，深得人心。一姓周之人冒着诛九族的危险将季布送到朱家、竭力保护季布。夏侯婴为刘邦建立汉王朝立下了汉马功劳。他在刘邦面前为季布说情，终于使刘邦赦免了季布。不久刘邦还任命他做了河东太守。

“若要人不知，除非己莫为”，传说宋代奸臣秦桧与妻子王氏在东窗下密谋杀害忠臣岳飞。秦桧死后，王氏叫道士招魂，看见秦桧在阴间受审。秦桧对道士说：“可否代为通传我的妻子，东窗的事已被发现了。”可见纸包不住火，便是这个道理。

如歌的年龄，如花的岁月，我倾尽所有，使诚信为我做人之本。缺少了这个年龄本该拥有的不羁，但她却使我多了一份淡雅，多了一份安然。让我在左岸的流年中，欣赏彼岸花朵的含苞待放。

西塞罗说：“没有诚实何来尊严。”于是，我们在纷繁喧嚷的世界里学会了胆战心惊，学会了人人自危。重视诚信，大多会功成名就，但若小看诚信，则注定失败。

我国有个起源于春秋战国的节日，叫端午;我国有个防疾病的节日，叫端午;我国有个运动的节日，叫端午!端午节又叫端阳节、重午节，在农历五月初五，是我国的传统节日，历史十分悠久，传承了几千年!

关于端午的来源，人们有许多说法，但其中流传最远、史书也有明确记载的就是为了纪念屈原。相传，屈原本来是楚国的三闾大夫，因为当时的国君十分昏庸无能，百姓生活在水深火热之中，秦国又蠢蠢欲动，准备攻打楚国。屈原向国君进谏，却被罢了官，放逐到了乡村。后来秦军攻破了楚国国都，楚国灭亡了。屈原听到消息后，悲痛欲绝，在自己生活下的茅屋里写下《怀沙》后，望着楚国国都，向滚滚的汩罗江中跳去。大家见了，有的拼命打捞，有的用粽叶包着糯米往河里扔，还有的在用雄黄驱赶蛟龙。为了纪念他，人们把这天叫端午节。

端午节是春夏交际之时，蚊虫众多，疾病易发。所以，每到端午，人们都要驱五毒、吃五黄、插艾草、菖蒲。大家还会从街上买来蛋，把它放进锅里和艾叶一起煮，把蛋吃掉后，再用煮蛋的水洗脸，传说一年也不会被蚊虫叮咬。小孩儿还会把自家煮的蛋拿出来，和邻居玩“碰蛋”，看谁的蛋结实。赢家据说一年都不会被病魔困扰!

端午节这天，人们都会组织去划龙舟。江边聚满了人，他们瞪着眼珠子，不停地喊着“加油加油”，为龙舟上的人呐喊助威。而龙舟上也挤满了人，他们双手拿着浆，使劲地划啊划。当有一只龙舟最先划到终点时，观众就会热烈地鼓起掌来，有的甚至跳了起来。整个场面热闹非凡，充满了喜悦!

这就是端午节，这就是我国的端午节!我爱端午!
