狗是一种很忠诚的动物，但时常有一些人把狗当作是卑鄙下流的象征，我想这是一种对狗的人格的侮辱。狗，可以称得上是世界上对主人最忠诚的动物。发生火灾、地震时，狗往往会先救主人正是因为狗的这种无比的忠诚，许多人才养狗来看门。

狗一般一年一产，每次大约五、六胎。刚产下小崽后，母狗只允许主人来看。如果是外人，母狗就是拼了命，也会保护自己的儿女的。正是因为狗的种种特征，才会受到广大人民的热烈欢迎，广泛应用于看门、侦察、捕猎等活动中。
