Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to

narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and

Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It

is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled

a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This

was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and

experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research

interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research

(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid

system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

On New Years Eve,our class had a party. The atmosphere was good. It was out of the ordinary from the very begining. The boy student from one bedroom gave an unusual performance. 这时，我们脑子里出现了一个非常好玩的玩法，和姐姐商量之后，我们就把所有的烟花堆在一起，一个接着一个的点燃，瞬间好像整个天空都被照亮了，五颜六色的烟花在空中翩翩起舞，声音震耳欲聋，好像要把整个世界照亮，我和姐姐都在不住地跳着、叫着，高兴的手舞足蹈。

“二十八，二十九……到了!终于春节了!”我掰着手指头算着，明天就要春节了!春节就从这儿开始了!明天可是春节的一个高潮哟!

春节真是与众不同。鞭炮声一早上就响了起来，街上的人们都穿着节日盛装，有的在买东西，有的在回家的路上，有的在扯家常……很快，到了傍晚，大街上连个人影也没有，到处飘着饭菜的香味，原来都在家里赶做年夜饭呢!

除夕真热闹。家家户户的门上都贴上了红红的对联，屋里也贴好了各色的年画，人们都围坐在大圆桌前。家家灯火通宵，鞭炮声也响个不停。人们吃完了团圆饭，都走出来放烟花，街上到处红红火火，烟花爆竹声构成一首欢快的乐曲，似乎在庆祝合家团圆。天上到处五颜六色，黑夜仿佛变成了白昼，孩子们也在街上又蹦又跳，每一个人都沉浸在笼罩在幸福欢乐之中。
