书上有两组图片引起了我的注意：同一时期，中国人还在油灯下看书，而外国人已经在电灯下看报纸了；当中国人还在坐着马车颠簸时，外国人已经开上了舒适的私家车。为什么外国人都可以的事情，中国人为什么不可以？这不是因为什么，就是外国人更勤奋、更努力，所以才会有这么好的今天。

昨天中国人没有努力，今天当然比不过别人，只希望明天大家要更努力。

1997年至2002年，我家的变化可大了。在我记忆中：搬家前，房子的面积是57平方米，家里只有一张普普通通的大床、一台14英寸的小电视。睡觉时，3个人挤在一张床上，但也没有多少钱再买一张，况且，也没地方放;一家三口在一张小圆桌上吃饭，太小了，这个放不开腿，那个伸不开胳膊;看电视的时候，我们三个看的频道不同，不知听谁的，哎，真没办法，有时候频道还不清楚，还是没办法。这台电视机只有30个台;妈妈上班骑自行车，回家后说累，我看着人家还有摩托车，很眼馋;妈妈洗衣服很不方便，有时搓的手都通红，但又不能不洗，妈妈的手，常常冻裂。爸爸妈妈平均每月的工资不足一千元钱。

（一）

前几周我们班进行了一次白糖加热的实验，现在我来帮同学们回忆一下白糖加热这个实验吧。

做这个实验得先准备好材料。白糖加热少不了的就肯定是白糖啦，有了白糖，怎么加热呢？我们可以用身边的蜡烛来担当火源。哦，对了，还要准备好一只长柄汤匙，为的是在加热过程中盛白糖。不过，要是烫到手怎么办呢，那就再准备一副手套吧。

材料都准备好了，该做实验了。先把手套戴好，再拿着汤匙，要拿在汤匙较上面的部分上，因为这样就不容易被蜡烛燃烧起的火烫着。然后再把白糖倒在汤匙上，至于白糖到多少，没有规定，我建议倒半勺。我认为倒少了不容易观察记录，而到满满一勺的话，也许在加热的过程中会溢出来。现在就把蜡烛放在桌子上，桌上最好铺上报纸或抹布，因为同学们都知道蜡烛燃烧后蜡油会滴下来，所以先铺上一些东西比较好。这是，再把蜡烛点燃，把汤匙放在蜡烛上方，进行加热。然后我们就要做观察记录了。

With the development of economy,the pollution of our environmentbecome more and more serious.Now more and more people get to know its important to protect our living environment.So low carbon lifestyle is become popular.

It is of great importance for the whole world to practice the low-carbon lifestyle.Firstly, our natural resources and energy are limited; therefore, it isabsolutely necessary for us to save and protect them. Secondly, inorder to protect our environment from serious greenhouse effect, weneed a low-carbon emission. It is low-carbon life that enables our nextgenerations to live a better and superior life.

Here are some useful suggestions to live a low-carbon life. Firstly, everyone is expected to cultivate theirawareness of saving energy. Secondly,we can use fewer plastic bags to reduce white pollution.we also can plant more trees to fresh the air.Then, we are also hoped to help ourfamilies and friends to live a low-carbon life. If everyone takes action,our environment will be better and better.Our world will be more colorful and beautiful.

Many people dream to live a healthy life. But sometimes they do not have a

full understanding of healthy life. In my mind, a healthy life includes physical

and mental health. People need to have a healthy diet and regular exercise to

make our physical more and more healthy. At the same time, people have to

remember that mental health is also very important. People need to find ways to

relax themselves and keep a good mood every day. At least do not be depressed

for a long time. People can have a healthy life only when they keep a good

health between physical and mental.

As we know, many people favor the idea that the college life is free and

comfortable, but I’d like to say it’s not true. As a matter of fact, my life in

university is so busy that I wonder if my energy is enough. As to my college

life, I divide it into four parts, including study, student activities, library

and the others.

Firstly, I want to talk about the study. In my opinion, study is the

priority in college. When I received the letter of admission in summer, I knew

clearly that what I should do. So I make up my mind to study hard and pursue

learning as much as possible. I’m greatly convinced that knowledge can change my

life. Therefore, I often go to the quiet study room where many people study

there. By working so hard, I get good grades in the exams.

Secondly, student activities play an important role in our college life. To

be honest, the student Union is a good place where one can develop social

skills, get his abilities trained. I take part in many student activities. For

example, I’ m a volunteer, teaching the kids to learn to dance and write. I

think it’s meaningful for everyone to give a hand to others. I can also do some

jobs in the Student Union, including receiving and sending fast mail, selling

papers and magazines. I think they’re unforgettable and worthwhile experiences

for me.

Thirdly, I also visit the library constantly. It’s said that “shelves of

books, oceans of knowledge”, so I read books that I’m interested in. In this

way, I can share stories with my new friends and it also changes my horizons

.When I’m sad, lost or in trouble, staying the library makes me quiet and

comfortable. After all, every life has bad moments as well as good ones, and the

library for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stay

in the library.

Finally, I often do other things in my spare time. In order to alleviate

parents’ burden, I often do some part-time jobs and write some articles to earn

money. It helps me to be independent and improve my social skills.

In short, my life in university is busy but valuable. You can see that

study brings me knowledge, student activities improve myself, library changes my

horizons, the others things make me independent. They get all my abilities

trained. And I see that the chance will come only if you have a prepared mind,

so I’m sure that I can achieve my dreams in college life.

weeks ago ,I had a military training . Many students think military training is not only boring but also terrible .but I don‘t think so .In my opinion ,military training life is wonderful .At first ,I‘m afraid of joining military training ,at that time ,I think military training is scaring ,but I have to take part in it ,because I‘m a student .I have to obey the school regulations .But in fact ,we are wrong,military training is cold .but at the same time ,military training also brings happiness for us.For example , in our spare time ,the commander taught us singing songs,or had a singing match with other classes .On September third ,we had a match with Class Five . First ,one of the girls from Class Five sang songs ,she sang very well,I thought . Next, other students also performed the programmes ,some sang ,some dancd ,and another students told jokes . Finally ,our class won the first prize ,the other class‘ students are also very happy ,although they failed in the match .All in all ,all of us were very happy .What a happy day it was ! I‘ve never forgotten that day.

Every coin has two sides. On the one hand, I am quite satisfied with my university life. On the other hand, life in my university is not as satisfactory as what we had expected.

Here is the bright side of my university life: Firstly, Equipment of my university is advanced and teacher team is powerful. There is an advanced library that owns all kinds of books. So we can acquire a lot of knowledge from my university. Secondly, all sorts of lectures are given on campus. We can learn much knowledge that is interesting. What’s more, my dormitory life is very harmonious. Dormitory life is an important part of my university life. On the one hand, we can have a good rest and put our heart into study. This is the dark side of my university life: Firstly, there is only one dining room in my university. So we often need to wait in a long line, which waste much time. Everyday is always fixed cuisine types, which make our appetites depressed. Secondly, self-study room is not enough. Now we will soon take final exam. So it is difficult to find a self-study room. What’s more, network of my university is very unstable. It is difficult to search literature in my dormitory, which waste too much time.In short, I am quite satisfied with my university life, but there is still some room for improvement. I am convinced that my university life will become better and better.
