I study in a high school, the school is far away from my home, so I have to live in the school.

I’m very glad to tell you about my winter holiday .It will be both relaxing and meanful . Let me tell you in detail.

First, studying is the most important thing for me, so I have to finish my homework carefully and do lots of exercises everyday .I’ll probably have two or three lessons so that I can make more progress.

Then I should do sports at the same time. Not only because the PE exam in next term, but also for my own health.

Phsics interests me a lot ,and I also like to read some books about it in my free time ．At the end of the vacation,maybe I’ll go sighting with some friends and some books to another city .

Mid-autumn day is a special festival in China, which is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. It falls on the 15th day of Augustlunar month every year. Our Chinese will celebrate it on that day. I think there are not too many people can reject the temptation of it. I like this festival very much. I have two reasons.

First of all, Mid-autumn has the deep meaning of reunion. In China, people regard Mid-autumn day as very important, so no matter where they are, they will come back to their family if there is a chance. As a Senior Grade Three students, I am very busy in preparing for the college entrance examination. I have seven classes a day, and two self-study classes at night. Waste management is a big problem for Australia. Australian population continues to grow and we need to use more and more resources and creating more waste. Wastes are substances that have no further use and if disposed of in land water or air can harm humans or the environment. If we don’t do something for the amount of waste that is produced there is a risk that we may run out of room in landfills or even run out of resources and I conducted the surveys from my friends and neighbours to check how many rubbish we need to waste and what is that.

I conducted 20 surveys asking them about type and amount of waste that they generate each week. The results showed that about 35% of people have 2 bags of rubbish per day. And about 25% of people have 1 and 3 bags of rubbish per day. The rest of them have 8+ bags per week. Do you know how large of the number for the rubbish? If an average weight of 2 kg per bag that’s mean we got about 116+kg per week for 20 household. If we have 23 million people in Australia that’s mean we need to waste about 113.4 million rubbishes per week. That’s a really huge number. And then I want to tell them about which strategies they need to be using to make a positive impact on waste management. If we still waste that lot may be one day all the landfill are full and we have to found a new place to set the rubbish and at that time we will be really regret.

The survey result also showed that there were a number of different types of waste thrown out in each household. Just like I think before most of them are food waste (29%) and the following are plastic (21%) garden waste (18%) paper product (15%) glass (10%) miscellaneous (5%) and the last one is aluminium (2%). As you see food waste still pretty much but we can’t do anything to that right? Therefore we need to improve our waste management by recycling the paper product glass and aluminium rather putting them in the garbage. That will be helpful for reduce landfill and save resources. May be that just a really small number for the rubbishes waste but that will make landfill have a lot space to put other rubbish.

In the survey people were asked to rank which strategies they would be prepared to use to help better manage waste. Most people said use products that can be reused or recycled is the first one the next highest rank is choose to buy goods that have less packaging and join an environmental group establish a worm farm to reduce food waste and put rubbish in a bin not on the ground. The least popular choice is Volunteer to help on ‘clean up Australia day’. These choices show u people want to do something more easily to do and don’t need too much time to spend to do.

I think Australian people need to do one thing good and that does will be fine just need to improve our own waste management by recycling the paper glass and aluminium. If Australian government will check all the time and wanning people that will be more easily. Thank for reading.

Nowadays, some discussions about the childrens education and management

have raised the whole social concern. It seems not only about childrens

personal development, but also about the whole countrys future.

There are two main views in debate, which of them is that children should

obey the rules set by parents and teachers. The other is that less control will

help children to deal with their future adult life.

As for the former, the advantages of it seem to be very apparent, which of

them is that children can make a distinction between right and wrong things. And

they will have a sense of principle and responsibility. Of course, the

disadvantages are also very clear. Firstly, children will be lacking in

imagination and creation. Secondly, they cannot make up their mind on their

own.

Concerning the latter, the view seems to be reasonable because in this ways

these children are more clever and active to create something special. However,

the drawbacks couldnt be ignored as a result of a problem that children cannot

get a clear understanding of their lifetime.

Combining the both points, as far as Im concerned, parents and teachers

are supposed to instruct children to obey the primary principle when they do

some deeds. Moreover, children need more freedom to realize their dreams. Only

in this way can the problem be solved perfectly.

In conclusion, we cant only support one side simply. On the contrary, we

ought to choose different measures to educate children flexibly.

Cellphones are becoming more and more popular among the middle school students at present.About that,people have different opinions.

March 12th is Tree Planting Day. This year our school bought enough  the trees before that day . On that day , we didnt had classes . The teachers and our classmates planted trees around our the school.

We began to planted trees as soon as we got to school . some students dug the holes . Some students put the trees into the holes.

Some students put the earth back to the holes. Then we pushed the earth hard with our feet . At last we watered the trees as much as possible.

From then on we looked after the trees carefully and the trees grew very well . It made our shcool more beautiful .And How happy we are !

My father is a great person. He is a hero in my heart. He is tall but not strong. He is a driver. He often talks a litte and seems that he is serious. Actually, sometimes he is real serious. In my memory, he never hits me except once. It is because I ignored their forbidding to go swimming in the river alone. I was so sad as my father hit me. But now I understand that it is because he worry about me. Moreover, although our family is not weathy, he will give all the things that I want to me. And he works hard to support our family. Whatever one does, one should do it with confidence. If one has no confidence, there is little possibility that one would ever achieve anything, especially when one is faced with drawbacks or hardships. This troth seems to be self-evident. However, in reality we do see a lot of people who complain that they lack the ability to do ,something or that their difficulties are too great to be overcome,For someone, this might be true. But for many others, this only shows that they have lost heart.

Why do people often feel frustrated even though they are capable of doing some thing? There are, among others, two main reasons. First, these people do not have a correct estimate of themselves. Second, they overestimate the difficulties.

It is passible to build up faith in oneself by having the right attitude towards ones own abilities. We should never underesrimate our abilities but should believe in the proverb: "Where there is a will, there is a way." Confidence is the promise for fulfilling a task successfully.
