I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. Last night, my friends and I went back to the primary school. We walked around the school and talked about the funny things that happened at that time. We were going to college soon, so we would be apart soon, but we were happy about our future school life. Suddenly, an idea came across my mind, I said to my friends that we could make a deal about four years later, we would graduate at that time. My friends were so excited about it, they agreed with me. So we made the deal that four years later, we got together here.

I started to think about what I would become four years later, maybe a teacher, or a businessman. The deal helps us to have a chance to keep in touch with each other. I am so looking forward to carrying out it.

In recent years, a new type of online shopping is rapidly gaining popularity — group purchasing, which was originally introduced from foreign countries but is now widely accepted all over China. People can buy not only goods, but also all kinds of services on group purchasing sites.

Group purchasing is very convenient, and saves people a lot of money. But it also has some problems. Since group purchasing is nothing more than another form of online shopping, the nature of it is no different from other online shopping patterns. Problems that exist in online shopping also can be found in group purchasing, like deceptive advertisements or poor after-sale services.

In my opinion, we should treat group purchasing as a way of shopping and nothing more. We must be careful not to buy something we don’t need only to follow the fashion.

China has the history of more than 5,000 years. Many foreign people are

attracted by this big old country. They come here and want to know about the

traditional culture. However, Chinese young people dont show much interest in

the old culture, instead they chase the fashion and some even abandon the

precious culture. For example, paper cutting, one of the excellent arts that is

inherited by our ancestors. Many foreign media speak highly of this great

handicraft and they are astonished by the wisdom of Chinese people. I have seen

this art when I stay in my hometown. Only few old people can do it. They just

take it for killing time. Paper cutting is like the old fashion and is forgotten

by the young generation. The media should report more positive information about

the traditional culture to inspire the young people to learn.

Since we go to school, the teachers educate us to be a better person, they

tell us that we must study hard, so that we can be the useful person. Many

students confuse about what is the useful person. In my opinion, the useful

person must have the good merit.

A person with the kind heart is favored by everyone and he has the sense to

serve others. The bad person will bring danger to others, even to the society.

The most important thing of the useful person is to make a contribution to the

society.

They will make full use of their knowledge and be proud of serving for the

society. Our premier Zhou stated his purpose of learning knowledge was to make

our country rise. He did it and he became the great person. Becoming the useful

person is not easy, we should fight for it.
