原来那钱在爸爸的碗里，唉!我是第一挑的，没有钱，而爸爸是最后吃人挑完的，他却吃到了那平安钱。这就叫“人算不如天算”啊!

总之，2016年的元旦，我还是很高兴的!

January 1st is New Year‘s Day. It‘s a great day for all the people throughout the world. As the saying goes, A good beginning is half the battle. So, many people go all out to celebrate the important day. On that day, I went to the Book City with my classmates. We bought a lot of useful reference books and interesting story books. I believe Knowledge is power. I hope I can learn a lot from these books and improve my study. In the evening, my family had a big dinner party. All the members in my family wished me a good luck in the new year.

字面上看，“旦”生动地反映了旭日东升的形象，它下边的一横，代表着波涛澎湃的海面，一轮红日正从海上喷薄而出，放射出灿烂辉煌的光芒。把“元”和“旦”合在一起，就是要人们以蓬勃的朝气和奋发向上的精神迎接崭新的开始。

我国历代元旦月日并不一致。直到汉武帝时才恢复夏历，以正月初一为元旦，自此历代相沿未改。

辛亥革命后，我国又将春、夏、秋、冬定为四节，即元旦为春节，端午为夏节，中秋为秋节，冬至为冬节。把阳历1月1日称为新年，而不称元旦。1949年9 月27日，中国人民政治协商会议第一届全体会议通过使用公元纪年法，才将公历1月1日正式定为元旦。

所有采用公历（阳历）的国家，都是以每年1月1日为元旦。但世界上还有许多国家和民族由于使用的历法以及宗教信仰、风俗习惯、季节气候等不同，新年元旦的日期也就各不相同。

中国的元旦，据传说起于三皇五帝之一的颛顼，距今已有3000多年的历史。“元旦”一词最早出现于《晋书》：“颛帝以孟夏正月为元，其实正朔元旦之春”的诗中。南北朝时，南朝萧子云的《介雅》诗中也有“四季新元旦，万寿初春朝”的记载。宋代吴自牧《梦粱录》卷一“正月”条目：“正月朔日，谓之元旦，俗呼为新年。一岁节序，此为之首。”；汉代崔瑗《三子钗铭》中叫“元正”；晋代庾阐《扬都赋》中称作“元辰”；北齐时的一篇《元会大享歌皇夏辞》中呼为“元春”；唐德宗李适《元日退朝观军仗归营》诗中谓之“元朔”

中国元旦历来指的是夏历（农历、阴历）正月初一。元是“初”、“始”的意思，旦指“日子”，元旦合称即是“初始的日子”，也就是一年的第一天。在汉语各地方言中有不同叫法，有叫“大年初一”的，有叫“大天初一”的，有叫“年初一”的，一般又叫“正月初一”。

正月初一从哪日算起，在汉武帝以前也是很不统一的。因此，历代的元旦月、日也并不一致。夏朝的夏历以孟喜月（元月）为正月，商朝的殷历以腊月（十二月）为正月，周朝的周历以冬月（十一月）为正月。秦始皇统一中国后，又以阳春月（十月）为正月，即十月初一为元旦。从汉武帝起，才规定孟喜月（元月）为正月，把孟喜月的第一天（夏历的正月初一）称为元旦，一直沿用到满清末年。但这是夏历，亦即农历或阴历，还不是我们今天所说的元旦。

公元1911年，孙中山领导的辛亥革命，推翻了满清的统治，建立了中华民国。各省都督代表在南京开会，决定使用公历，把农历的正月初一叫做“春节”，把公历的1月1日叫做“元旦”。不过当时并未正式公布和命名。 为了“行夏正，所以顺农时，从西历，所以便统计”，民国元年决定使用公历（实际使用是1912年），并规定阳历（公历）1月1日为“新年”，但并不叫“元旦”。

今天所说的“元旦”，是新中国成立前夕的公元1949年9月27日，中国人民政治协商会议第一届全体会议，在决定建立中华人民共和国的同时，也决定采用世界通用的公元纪年法，即是我们所说的阳历.。

在当代，元旦指公元纪年的岁首第一天。为了区别农历和阳历两个新年，又鉴于农历二十四节气中的“立春”恰在农历新年的前后，因此便把农历正月初一改称为“春节”，阳历1月1日定为新年的开始“元旦”，并列入了法定假日成为全国人民的欢乐节日。

20xx年元旦，我和爸爸 妈妈 一起去苏州玩。我们去了虎丘、狮子林……还有好多好玩的地方。

在虎丘，我爬了座小山。在山上，我看到了一座古塔，它是斜的，我很想爬上去看一看，可是不允许上去，只能在下面看，爸爸只好帮我拍了几张照片。爸爸妈妈还告诉我，古代的时候，塔旁边原来有一座寺庙的，叫云岩寺，后来在战争中被烧毁了，现在就只能看到些大石块了。

在狮子林，我看到一座很大的假山迷宫。我进去后发现 有好多条路，我走呀走，终于走出来了。我又找了条路重新进去玩了起来。我最喜欢在假山迷宫里玩了，把上面所有的路都走了一遍。我还看到一座桥，一会儿往左拐，一会儿往右拐，原来那叫“九曲桥”。湖边还有一条石船，我进去后发现里面还有楼梯可以上到船头去呢。

玩累了我们就回宾馆休息了。

第二天，我们先去了西园寺，我在里面看到了很多菩萨，其中有一个很高很大的菩萨有四面的，每一面都有很多手，妈妈告诉我这是“千手观音”。我还看到了五百罗汉，我觉得其中有一个长得很象唐僧的。西园寺后面还有个花园，那里的池塘里本来有个千年老鳖，现在没有了，只有一个老鳖的塑像。我问妈妈千年老鳖是不是乌龟大王呀?妈妈说是王八大王，可王八又是什么呢?花园里也有一座假山，就是很小的，只有一条路可以上去，上面还种了两棵大树，一棵树有94岁，另一棵树有96岁了。我很好奇，为什么96岁的树比94岁的树长得还细呢?妈妈告诉我那是因为树的种类不同。

从西园寺出来，我们赶紧先回宾馆退房间，时间 差点来不及。然后我们去了金鸡湖，我觉得金鸡湖很大的，爸爸开车带着我们绕了半天，金鸡湖还在眼前。我在金鸡湖边跑来跑去，在草地上打滚，玩得很开心，爸爸又给我拍了不少照片。我看见远处的金鸡湖边也有一座很象轮船的大房子，我想我要是能上去看看就好了。

离开金鸡湖，我们就回家。我觉得苏州很好玩，我还想再去一次。

Movie is my favorite that I always watch movies when I am free. Since I like English very much, so the English movie is my favorite, too. Among so many films I have watched, the one I like best is High School Musical. This film tells the stories about two high school juniors from rival cliques – Troy Bolton, captain of the basketball team, and Gabriella Montez, a beautiful and shy transfer student who is a hard working girl. Together, they try out for the lead parts in their high school musical. In this process, a series of stories happen, but in the end, the musical achieves great success and Troy and Gabriella fall in love with each other. It’s totally a happy ending. I like this movie because the high school life in that is so colorful and amazing, which I admire so much. Besides, everyone loves happy ending of love story.

我喜欢电影，平时有时间的时候我一般都是看电影。我非常喜欢英语，因此英语电影也是我喜欢看的。在我所看过的电影中，我最喜欢的是《歌舞青春》。这部电影讲述了两个高中生的故事——学校篮球队的队长Troy Bolton和性格害羞、长相甜美、成绩优异的新生Gabriella Montez。他们要一起主演学校的音乐剧。在这个过程中，发生了一系列的故事，而最终，音乐剧获得了成功，他们之间也碰撞出了爱的火花，完美落幕。我喜欢这部电影的原因是因为电影中展现的高中生活丰富多彩、奇妙无比，让我十分羡慕。再者，有谁不喜欢爱情故事的大圆满结局呢。

Courage is very important. Everyone needs it. We will meet many difficulties in our life and sometimes we will fail, but we can’t lose courage. If we lose courage, we can’t do anything, because we don’t dare to do anything; we are afraid of failure. This is my Chinese teacher me in the first class. I agree with him. For example, we don’t have the courage to hands up to say our answer, how can we know we are right or wrong. I will remember his word forever,” never lose courage .”

勇气是很重要的。每个人都需要勇气。我们在生活中会遇到很多困难，有时我们会失败，但是我们不能失去勇气。如果我们失去了勇气，我们将会一事无成，因为我们什么都不敢做；我们害怕失败。这是我的语文老师在第一节课的时候说的。我同意他的说法。例如，我们没有勇气举手说出我们的答案，我们怎么能知道我们的答案是对的还是错的呢。我会永远记住他的话，“永远不要失去勇气。”
