Something must be done to stop the pollution. And I think it’s a great shame to waste while millions are in great need of water. I think what we can do is that we have to save every drop of water as possible as we can. For example, we must turn off the tap immediately after we use it. We can use a basin to wash our hands and faces. It’s also a good idea to encourage my friends and family members to join me! Only in this way can we live happily. 星期天，妈妈洗衣服，我连忙用盆子将清衣服的水接住，然后用这些水来搽桌子，拖地板，最后再用剩下的水来浇花。妈妈看见了，微笑着说：“我们的孟竹长大了，不仅爱劳动，还懂得节约了。”我开心地笑了，站到妈妈的身边，很认真的对妈妈说：“妈妈，只有我一个人节约是不够的，我们一家人都应该节约，而且不仅是节约用水，还要节约用电，节约用煤气，节约用纸……反正该节约的地方咱们都要节约。”在一旁看报纸的爸爸听到了我的话，放下报纸笑着说：“好啊，咱们全家人行动起来，来一个‘节约能源大行动’，你们看怎么样?”我拍手叫好，妈妈极力支持。
