This is the Spring Festival in my hometown, a full of happy, full of joy, full of joy, full of hope of the Spring Festival. It always make me happy, makes me excited, I yearn for.

春节是中国的传统节日，每当春节来临，就代表新的一年开始了。在春节的每一天里，人们都过得非常快乐!我的家乡也不例外。

我的家乡在徐闻，每当春节来临，家家户户张灯结彩，喜气洋洋，各种各样的迎新春活动层出不穷，但其中最有趣的是“金狮抓彩”和“游花车”。

大年初一天刚亮，醒狮队就开始给各家各户拜年了。这时，人们会把早已准备好的用红包和糖果拼成的“彩头”，高高挂在屋檐或二楼的栏杆上，让狮子“抓彩”。当狮子给户主拜完年，醒狮团的师兄弟们就会轮番表演南拳、大刀、长枪等各式各样的功夫，之后就用搭罗汉的方式，一层一层地搭成人梯给狮子“抓彩”。狮子爬在人梯的最高层，首先向所有在场的人行叩首礼，然后就跃起身子用嘴去抓 “彩头”。你只要听到欢呼声，“彩头”肯定被狮子抓到了。

游花车是最热闹的庆春节活动。大年十二，每个乡镇都会根据自己的特色扎出别具一格的花车。花车的款式各不相同，有的扎的是丰收喜悦的瓜果满园，有的扎的是经济腾飞的高楼大厦，有的扎的是喜迎春色的满园花香，还有的是五洲同庆的太空遨游。花车五颜六色，彩灯闪烁，彩旗飘飘，美丽极了!每年一到游花车的时候，人们打扮得漂漂亮亮的，从各个乡镇赶到县城，从各个小巷涌上街头，围着游行的花车笑呀、跳呀，这辆是我们镇的，那辆是你们镇的，互相转告着，欢笑着，脸上洋溢着欢庆丰收的喜悦。

这就是我家乡的春节，一个充满吉庆，充满欢乐，充满喜悦，充满希望的春节。它总是那么令我陶醉，令我激动，令我向往。

As a Senior Grade Three students, I am very busy in preparing for the

college entrance examination. I have seven classes a day, and two self-study

classes at night. And only a day left for the weekend. So, most of the time I

have to spend on the study, after all the college entrance examination is very

important for almost all of us. Aside of study, I would play football with my

friends after school and the weekend. I like playing football very much. When I

run on the football field, I can put the examination thing off my mind for a

while, only sweat and laugh left. It is a good exercise for health and a good

way to relax from the busy study too. This is my high school life, busy and

fulfilling.

The Spring Festival, gathering, every family decorated, beaming. I also put on your mother bought me new clothes, new shoes on. Mother said: "your child to eat, finish eat, I take you to my grandmas New Year." When he heard that I jumped with joy to New Year greetings. I saw there are a lot of people on the road to grandmas house with gifts, some drive, some walking, everyone is happier.

春节到了，万家团圆，家家户户都张灯结彩，喜气洋洋。我还穿上妈妈给我买的新衣服，穿上新鞋。妈妈说：“孩子快点吃，吃完了，我带你去外婆家拜年。”一听说去拜年我高兴得跳了起来。我去外婆家的路上看见了有许多人带着礼品，有的开车，有的走路，每个人都喜笑颜开的。

一会儿，我和妈妈到了外婆家，我看见外婆，连忙走过去说：“外婆，祝你健康长寿。”外婆笑了，摸摸我的头说：“你真懂事，真有礼貌。”说完，外婆从口袋里拿出一个红包给我，我双手接红包，高兴地说：“谢谢你外婆。”然后我和表兄弟表姐妹们去玩，妈妈和爸爸进外婆家的房子里聊天。我们去外婆的空地去玩放鞭炮，我还带来了一架赛车，我控制赛车一边跑一边叫，一不小心摔了一跤，逗得表兄弟、表姐妹捧腹大笑。直玩到中午，吃了团圆饭才回家。我对爸爸说：“今天我玩得很高兴，还逗得表兄弟、表姐妹捧腹大笑呢，今天我很高兴。”

啊!过年可真好呀，我喜欢过春节。

Almost everyone knows that water covers three-fourths of the earths

surface. Most of it， however， is in the oceans and is too salty to drink. Also，

some of it is frozen and cannot be used. In fact， less than one percent is left

for the use of people， animals and plant life. All through history men have

tried to build their homes near the sources of fresh water. Now fresh water is

becoming scarce， but more and more is needed because of the increasing number of

people in the world. Some industries also use large amounts of fresh water in

the production of things such as steel， petroleum， paper and rubber and so on.

Scientists estimate that the need for fresh water will have doubled by the year

2003. If they are correct， we must find new ways of saving it or producing it.

Some nations have worked on the problem and are already sharing their

information with others. They are trying to keep their rivers from becoming

polluted. Deep wells are also being dug， and rain water is being collected in

huge artificial lakes. In one way or another， they hope to provide enough water

to satisfy the needs of their people.

Spring Festival is coming,I am very happy.On this winter holiday,I went to visit my grandparents with my parents.

My grandmother is very zeal.Our dinner is very delicious.After the dinner,the people gave me money in red envelopes.I am very happy in this family with my grandparents.

Sometimes,we go to climb the mountains.The mountain is very high.Look!There is a clean river near the mountain.And there are some beautiful flowers,grass and big trees.Some trees are orange trees,the others are banana trees.Oh,I am very tired but interesting.

I am very happy on this holiday because I like Spring Festival very much.What about you?
