Since the Sanlu Incident occurred in 2008, the entire society was increasingly concerned about food safety issue. It was in this context that the food safety issue has been referred to an unprecedented height.

Problems leading to food safety are as follows: 1) using poor quality raw materials in the food manufacturing process; 2) adding toxic substances; 3) excessive use of food additives; 4) abusing of chemical additives and so on. I have rested for XX days. In these days, I felt very bored. I didn’t know to do what. Although I had a lot of things to do, I felt unnetfortable. I was ill because of the cold weather. We know it is difficult to learn English. My English is very good. I learn English like this.

I Listen to the teacher carefully and write the important points down on my notebooks. After class I revise the lessons. Before class I prepare new lessons to find out the questions. Then I will listen carefully in class.

I also listen to the tape, and speak English with my classmates in the classroom and on the playground. It’s to improve my listening and speaking.

I keep a diary every day to practise my written English.

一年一度的寒假又来临了，大家肯定都知道在寒假里有一个我国最隆重的节日—春节，春节里，我有许多快乐的事：放烟花、拜年、拿红包等，其中让我最开心的事是放烟花。

大年三十上午我爸爸买回了许多烟花，品种齐全，有冲天炮、万花筒、魔术弹、龙吟花蕾、仙女散花，梦想成真、还有大发财等，其中我最喜欢的是仙女散花。

晚饭时，我迫不及待地要放烟花，妈妈说：“吃完饭再放。”我听了，便狼吞虎咽地吃了起来，菜没上完，我就吃好了。

过了一会儿，妈妈宣布：“现在我们全家总动员下楼放烟花!”我争先恐后地下楼去车库拿烟花，忙得我满头大汗。

我先拿出“魔术弹”让爸爸帮我点着，我闭着眼、手向高空举着，只听见“吱”的一声，我忙睁开眼，可烟花已飞得无影无踪了。这时，只听见“呼”的一声，吓得我赶忙捂住耳朵，我想：这真是虎啸狮吼呀!原来是爸爸放起了“龙吟花雷”，虽然开始虎啸狮吼，但过了一会儿，却是五颜六色、秋雨潇潇。

仙女散花，可好看啦!开始，我点燃导火线，突然一束金光向天空飞去，顿时一下张开，变成许多五颜六色的小点，一会儿，那些小点变成金色的小花，好像孩子的笑容，真让人心旷神怡，美不胜收。

接着，我放“梦想成真”，点燃导火线后，一个小火球窜到空中渐渐变大，喷起火焰，五光十色，喷的火焰忽大忽小，忽快忽慢，忽聚忽散，好像会喷火焰的长江，奔流不息。就这样整个除夕我们全家忙得不亦乐乎!

天下哪有不散的宴席，时间一分一秒的过去了，烟花也放完了，但我心里像烟花一样也乐开了花，久久的沉浸在烟花世界中……

春节到来，喜事连连，大年初一，我去亲戚家拜年，每到一家，我都获得一个红包，告诉你们吧，我共拿了约四千元，再加上我平时聚的零花钱还可真不少，妈妈说：“等我读大学时用”。我开心地连连点头。

One day during the summer vacation, my father and I agreed to play

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

寒假期间，我的生活没有什么不同的。我每天十一点醒来，洗完碗后，与我的父母吃丰盛的午餐。之后我玩电脑游戏，玩到吃晚饭的时候。晚餐后。我继续玩游戏玩到凌晨两点，然后去睡觉了。这就是寒假我暗淡无光的一天生活。

But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meet some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2011 year! I often eat fruit and vegetables. Apples and oranges are my favorites. I love junk food, too, and I eat it three or four times a week. I sleep less than seven hours ever day. I often feel sleepy. I brush my teeth once a day. I run in the morning, and play ping-pong after school. In my free time, I enjoy surfing the Internet. On weekends, I often go to the movies with my friends.

I think I’m kind of unhealthy. I shouldn’t eat too much junk food. I’ll try to have a balanced diet and sleep more. I should brush my teeth twice a day. I hope I can have a better lifestyle.

A new year ，a new start，when I stand on the edge of  a new year，I cant help thinking about my plan of next year.

Just as the old saying：“Well began is the half of the success.”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ，and then ，at the beginning ，Im quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others.

But ，what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible. While，I will do my best to live up with what I have planned，and the result will prove it.

I asked my English teacher this morning, “How do you learn Chinese when you were a child? Think about it, and you’ll find the answer.”

I cannot recall how I studied my native language, but I still remember the way my little cousin learned to speak. He listened to what people said and tried to imitate what he had heard. At two or three years old, he could express himself in simple language. Now, he is five years old, he can speak more perfectly. He is using language, thinking in it and talking in it all the time.

I understand if I use English all the time, it won’t seem so difficult. I will learn it quickly. It’s the best way to learn a foreign language.
