One day, Ji An said to Emperor Wudi that the way the emperor used his ministers was just like piling up firewood, which meant that the latecomers surpassed the old-timers. Of course, Emperor Wudi could see that Ji An was complaining. So,turning to his ministers, Emperor Wudi said, "It is true that no one can stop learning.You see, Ji An is making more and more indiscreet remarks."

This story comes from The Historical Records. Later generations use the set phrase "the latecomers surpass the old-timers " to indicate that successors can cxcel the predecessors, which is quite different from the original idea when Ji An said that the latecomers surpassed the old-timers.

1、在英语活动中渗入有关圣诞节的内容，各班教师共同学习英语歌曲集体舞蹈《JINHLE BELLS》、《WE WISH YOU MERRY XMAS》、《SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN》。

2、让幼儿了解圣诞节的由来和世界各国庆圣诞的活动等。(可以发动家长一起收集有关圣诞节的内容和图片，张贴到教室里)

3、12月*日幼儿园大环境创设(操场、门厅、走廊等)

4、各班布置教室环境，使其充满圣诞气氛。

5、提前教给幼儿一些简单的英语祝福和自主餐食物英语名称，句子I like……，I want……，thank you。

6、请家长给自己的孩子准备一份小礼物(包装好拿到幼儿园来)和一顶圣诞帽子，供活动使用。

7、提前通知家长制作圣诞袜子半成品，老师收集各种装饰品。(活动当天引导幼儿再对圣诞袜子进行装饰)

8、准备圣诞节当天的礼物和自助餐。

9、制作各种自助餐食物的英语餐牌。(各班老师)

四、活动要求

1、当天回幼儿园的人都必须带圣诞帽。

2、见人都必须说：MERRY CHRISTMAS。

五、狂欢、游园活动方案

时间：2013年12月*日 上午9：30——11：00(托小班) 下午13：30——15：00(中大班)

1、9：15——9：30

早晨幼儿陆续来园，广播里播放着欢快的圣诞音域，由教师装扮的圣诞老人和幼儿扮演的各种卡通任务在门口盛情地迎接幼儿的到来，与幼儿亲切地拥抱、握手、说Merry Christmas，让幼儿在浓浓地问候声中接受西方文化温馨的洗礼。

2、9：30——10：00 圣诞表演狂欢

1) 老师组织幼儿到操场集合，分别站在指定圆圈上。

2) 主持人致圣诞快乐词。

3) 圣诞集体舞表演《JINHLE BELLS》、《WE WISH YOU MERRY XMAS》、《SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN》。

4) 狂欢，随着狂欢的音乐全场舞动起来，音乐快结束时放礼花。

3、10：00——11：00 游园活动

开展各种英语游戏和表演，英语游戏体现圣诞节的元素，引导幼儿尽可能的多说英语。
