因为上学期我参加了少年志愿者团，所以今天，我接到“朝霞夕阳相映红”的活动通知，说下午要到干部新村一户老爷爷家里去慰问他。下午出门的时候，一轮太阳火辣辣地挂在天上，听天气预报说今天的最高气温是38度，虽然天气炎热，但我心想：这是一件很有意义的事情，我一定要去做。

三点的时候，我到了二小门口集中，已经有两三个同学在那里了，一位笑容亲切的女老师把我们带到干部新村老人院的图书室分组，有三位女同学一组，去“盆景”老爷爷家里，其他六位男同学和我一组，去“象棋”老爷爷家里。

到了老爷爷的家，一进门，一只全身黑乎乎的八哥朝我们大叫“大家好!”。老爷爷、老奶奶都很热情，老爷爷拿出了一副很大的象棋让我们下，老奶奶拿出了两大盆哈密瓜请我们吃。因为我象棋下得不是很好，只好坐在沙发上边吃哈密瓜，边看那些男同学下。下了几局棋之后，老爷爷带我们去看他们家刚才和我们打招呼的那只八哥，我很感兴趣，他给我们介绍：这只八哥他养了十年，老奶奶教它说“去买菜哟!”，因此每天早上六点的时候，这只八哥便会大叫“去买菜哟!”，老奶奶便会放下手中的活，提着篮子去买菜。我心想，这只八哥被老爷爷他们养了十年，学了很多话，我也要试试看。于是我便蹲下来，对着八哥拍了拍手，八哥那双芝麻大小的眼睛立刻圆溜溜地瞪着我，我对它说“你好”，它马上回了我一句“你好，大家好”。我哈哈大笑起来。这时老爷爷又跟我们聊了聊象棋，又问了我们一些问题。一个小时很快就过去了，我们依依不舍地离开了老爷爷的家。

能够利用暑假的一些时间去陪陪老爷爷、老奶奶，和他们聊聊天、说说话是很有意义的。

Beijings air pollution reached dangerous levels yet again on Sunday, marking the third consecutive day of severe smog, municipal environmental authorities said。北京市环保部门称，北京空气污染在上周日再次达到危险的水平。持续三天的严重雾霾天气给北京带来了严重的空气污染。

The municipal meteorological station issued the citys first orange fog warning Sunday morning due to decreased visibility caused by the heavy smog. Monitoring data released on Sunday showed that air quality indexes in most regions of Beijing had hit 500, the indexes highest level。北京市环保部门在周日上午发布了北京气象史上首个霾橙色预警，浓雾笼罩的北京市能见度非常低。周日发布的监控数据显示，北京大部分地区的空气质量指数均达到了极值500.

"Beijing implemented its emergency response plan for hazardous pollution for the first time on Sunday," said Yu Jianhua, director of the air quality department under the municipal environmental protection bureau. The plan, issued last year, includes multiple measures to combat and respond to hazardous levels of air pollution。北京市环保局大气处处长于建华表示：“北京在周日首次启动了应对严重污染的应急方案。” 该应急方案于去年发布，规定应对严重级别空气污染的多项措施。

The plan calls for construction sites to limit construction activity that creates large amounts of dust, as well as asks industrial enterprises to reduce emissions, during hazardous pollution days。该应急方案规定，严重污染日时，建筑施工工地应减少产生大量灰尘的施工行为，并要求工业企业减少排放。

The plan also requires municipal traffic authorities to limit government vehicle usage during smoggy days, with the goal of reducing such usage by 30 percent compared to normal days。方案还要求市政交通部门在浓雾天气采用临时交通管制，限制政府车辆的使用，目标是减少正常日中30%的车辆。

The plan also calls for education authorities to instruct schools to limit or completely stop outdoor activity during periods of heavy air pollution。方案另外要求教育部门指示学校等在严重空气污染期间减少或完全终止户外活动。

The municipal environmental monitoring center said readings for PM2.5, or airborne particles measuring less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter, had reached more than 700 micrograms per square meter at several monitoring stations in Beijing, reaching as high as 993 Saturday evening。北京市环境检测中心表示，在北京市的几个监测站，PM2.5的浓度检测结果(即大气中直径小于或等于2.5微米的颗粒物)达到了每立方米700微克以上，周六晚间更是高达993微克。

"These figures represent extremely bad pollution. Pollutants have gradually accumulated over the course of recent windless days, making the air quality even worse," said Zhu Tong, a professor from the college of environmental sciences and engineering at Peking University。北京大学环境科学与工程学院教授朱彤说：“这些数值意味着非常严重、可怕的污染，目前北京无风静稳，新排放的污染物还在不断累积，空气质量更糟。”

无数的中华儿女终于等来了2008年8月8日这一天，这承载了中华一百年的梦想之火即将点燃。晚八时，终于等到了这一时刻，中华一百年后的今天将会被载入史册。那一时刻普天同庆，因为奥林匹克第29届夏季运动会在北京开幕了。

中国为这次奥运盛会举行了声势浩大的开幕式。入场两分钟后，灯全都灭了，观众肃静了下来，心中充满了期待。转瞬间一片片鼓阵出现在了眼前。打鼓的人全都是铁铮铮的男子汉。他们个个心肌发达，看上去强健有力，像一株株千年铁树一般强壮。他们击打着富有中国古典神韵的大鼓，整齐一致井井有条。大鼓传出了一阵阵震撼人心的声音，时起时伏，时跌时宕。这音律像大海的浪涛一样给人以同样的奋发。感觉神经在跳动，内心在涌动。那激动人心的大鼓阵阵刺激着我的神经。更壮观的是每一只鼓都会发出亮光。当敲鼓的时候就会点亮。几千只鼓共同发出热血的红光，大家都沸腾了起来。

当大家都还在被鼓所感染的时候，一幅画卷横空出现，大家的目光都转移到了这里。伴随着风味独特令人回味的音乐，长达百米的画卷一同展开，画面上出现了国宝山水画。随后这幅画卷上又出现了青花瓷等中国有名的独特“景观”，让国际友人了解了中国长达几千年的悠久文明历史。展现了中国的独特色彩。其中文字篇是最吸引人的。上面刻着中国古典文字。这些文字都是用最古老的印刷术方法制成的，风格别具。这些文字便成为波浪翻滚着，又变成了古写的汉字，解释了“以和为本”之道。给观众中国风格的文化盛宴。

还有国粹京剧、提线木偶、武术等表演。同样让全世界观众看见了一道亮丽的风景线——中国文化。

这时一个硕大的球出现在观众面前。这个球开始变色了。起初是白色，然后变成了绿色，接着变成了蓝色，最后变成了汇聚了白绿蓝的样子。这就是生活了几亿年的地球。同时2008个孩子的笑脸也出现在了“地球”的四周，这些天真烂漫的笑脸打动着全场的观众，也代表着和平、有爱与希望。相信这一张张春天般的笑脸将会是奥林匹克与世界永久的珍藏。随后奏响了本届奥运会的主题曲《你和我》。乐曲生气蓬勃，充满希望，大家听得如痴如醉。

世界各国的运动员开始入场了。首先是希腊代表团入场。接着的203个队伍以此入场。最后东道主中国代表团入场。中国代表团共有1099人，其中运动员639人。是史上中国参加奥运会人数之最。观众席上掌声如雷，欢呼不断。“中国加油”的呐喊声响彻鸟巢上空。

在罗格主席和刘淇先生讲话后，国家主席胡锦涛用庄重的声音宣布：“北京第29届奥林匹克运动会开幕!”顿时呼喊声不绝于耳。观众们都鼓掌庆祝，礼花也在空中美丽地开放……

神圣的奥林匹亚圣火终于来到了主会场，期待已久的奥运圣火即将在北京上空点燃。四个月里圣火穿越了五大洲三大洋，传遍了中国大地，世界的60亿心灵都被圣火点燃。第七名火炬手，曾为中国女排夺得“三连冠”的黑马孙晋芳举着火炬点燃了最后一棒火炬手中国体操王子——李宁手中的火炬。李宁腾空飞起，高举火炬的李宁围着徐徐展开的画卷奔跑。李宁奔跑的身姿把大家带入了高潮。画卷上展示了圣火传递的精彩瞬间，让大家一同回顾了传递时的盛况。这时李宁来到了主火炬旁，他缓缓把火炬伸到引线前面，引线被点燃了，“嗖”的几声，划过了主火炬的边缘，圣火被点燃了!这时间全场欢呼沸腾，绚丽的火焰在鸟巢上空闪耀，云彩变得美丽多姿，欢呼的声音震耳欲聋，全场进入了最高潮。四万发火焰冲天，从灯火辉煌的奥运村到古香古色的永定门。圣火与礼焰在古城上空交相辉映……

终于，百年圆梦。没有人愿意入睡。因为一百年的期望与等待成为了现实。七年前的申奥成功到七年后的奥运盛事经过了七年的准备，北京乃至中国兑现了对世界的承诺：以高水平，高科技，高文明向全世界展现了中国的承诺。绿色人文科技的奥运理念已经化为现实，让我们一起去享受那十六天的奥运吧!

Spring Festival evening party last night,I go to the village school

volunteer,start time is 5:00,end is at 7:30.In the process,I first task was to

check standing in the first stage,help the teacher is writing on the card

1,2,3,4...Such as Numbers,to the guests when lottery drawing;The second task is

at the end of the party,help push door,convenient for people to leave.

Dennis school the teacher told us that the volunteers are very hard,because

they only work,but cant see,my brothers and sisters and volunteers I insist in

the end,although there is a little lazy,but warned by the teacher once,I havent

made a mistake.

Finally,the teachers give us volunteers score,my score is 9 points,10

points,10 points,although the score is high,but I also want to continue to work

hard!

昨天晚上，我到小区学校的春节晚会当志愿者，开始的时间是5：00，结束是7：30。在过程中，我第一个任务是先站在签到台，帮老师在卡片上写1、2、3、4……等数字，交给来宾们当抽奖券;第二个任务是晚会结束时，帮助推门，方便人们离开。

学校小丹老师告诉我们志愿者是很辛苦的，因为他们只能工作，而不能看节目，我和志愿者哥哥姐姐们一直坚持到最后，虽然中间有一点小偷懒，但被老师提醒一次后，我就没有犯过错。

最后，老师们给我们志愿者评分，我得到的分数是9分、10分、10分，虽然分数很高，但我也要继续努力!
