Last month I went to Beijing to visit one of my friends, because we haven’t seen each other for about two years and I got a holiday meanwhile. 伴随着北京奥运会开幕式带来的震撼，我们希望中国选手“射落”本届奥运会首金的期望更加热切，这对于一向希望博得好彩头、开门红的中国观众来说，首枚金牌意义非凡。8月9日女子10米气步枪比赛，即将产生本届奥运会的首枚金牌，前奥运会冠军杜丽被寄予厚望。可是杜丽身上背负的压力太大了，最后她只获得了第五名的成绩，赛后杜丽哭的很伤心，我也很失落，替她惋惜。8月14日，杜丽又参加了北京奥运会射击女子50米步枪三种姿势的比赛，终获这个项目的金牌。杜丽又哭了，可这次是喜悦的泪水。想想奥运的第一天，那么多人都期待着她拿到第一金，可是冲金失败了，她自身承受着相当大的压力。而面临这种压力，她能迅速调整进行训练，积极备战接下来的比赛，实属不易，让一个人在四天内走出失败的阴影这需要多么大的勇气啊。她做到了，用短短的四天调整好状态，再次出征，证明她依然是最强的。这就是英雄，失败后仍然能毅然决然地选择站起来。

北京奥运会的赛场吸引着全球的目光，而数位“妈妈选手”，尤其显得特别，引人注目。她们与年轻选手同场竞技，激情与斗志并没有输在年龄上，或许她们已经忘却了年龄。参与即是胜利，她们参赛本身就彰显着运动员坚毅不屈和永不放弃的精神，而她们同时又用独特的母爱为赛场增添了许多温情。

先说一说中国的奥运妈妈冼东妹。为了祖国的荣誉，33岁的她抛下了自己嗷嗷待哺的孩子，重返训练场。饱受伤病困扰的她，脚上还钉着三颗钢钉，在运动生涯上曾被医生判过“死刑”，但抱有“永不止步”信念的她，先后五次退役五次复出。她成为了中国奥运历史上第一个“冠军妈妈”，同时也是世界女子柔道小级别项目上，第一位在奥运会上实现卫冕的选手。成功卫冕的东妹并没有想到自己的成就多么伟大，而是哽咽着向女儿保证：“妈妈一年多没在身边，以后会好好补偿你。”

另一个让人感动的奥运妈妈就是丘索维金娜。她是当今女子体操项目上罕见的高龄选手，她之所以现在还拼搏在世界体坛上，最重要的原因就是为患有白血病的儿子挣得医疗费。为了能够尽可能多的参加比赛，争取获得奖金的机会，丘索维金娜从26岁开始朝全能型发展。母爱能让一个人走多远？33岁的丘索维金娜会告诉我们。这位经历了5届奥运会，以北京奥运会最年长的体操运动员身份出征的她，在8月17日的比赛中力克众多年轻选手，摘得一枚宝贵的跳马银牌。难得的是她对4年后的伦敦奥运会还有自己的梦想，谁能断言2012的伦敦，丘索维金娜不会给世界另一个奇迹？

北京奥运会上国人最大的遗憾可能要属刘翔因伤退赛。刘翔是中国的骄傲，也是黄种人的骄傲，我们都期待着他在家门口再创奇迹。可是谁也没有想到，就在人们激情达到顶点的时候，刘翔却突然宣布退赛，这是国人万万没有想到的，也让很多人无法接受，有人为之惋惜，也有人失落后开始指责。国家提倡“以人为本”，刘翔虽然在我们心目中是英雄，但他也是血肉之躯，我们对待英雄不仅要崇拜，还要体恤。他身上的压力太大了，背负的东西太多了，如今又有伤病的困扰，对于刘翔的退赛，我们要以一颗理智宽容的心来看待，尊重他的选择，不要给他太多的舆论压力，这也是对英雄的一种爱护。希望刘翔早日养好伤病，走出阴影走出压力，用实力再次证明自己。

我想体育节目之所以这样迷人，是因为它表现出来的坚忍不拔的毅力，拼搏向上的精神，永不言弃的品格。那种力量之美、精神之美，可以感动很多人，让人迸发出对生命的热爱之情。

当我每一次打开电视机观看比赛，和队员们同呼吸共命运的时候，我的心被他们的卓越表现彻底震撼并征服了。请记住那些在运动赛场上勇于拼搏的体育健儿，不管他们是否取得好成绩，他们都是在用辛勤的汗水，不断超越自我，为祖国的荣誉而拼搏。

奥运赛场上带给了我太多的感动，随着每一次国旗升起，每一次国歌奏响，我眼中都含着泪，那一刻，我以自己是一名中国人而无比骄傲。这届奥运会上中国取得了51块金牌，100枚次奖牌，牢牢地占据金牌排行榜的首位。而其中80后90后选手贡献的奖牌已超过半数，他们就是中国体育未来和希望。本届奥运会中国志愿者总数刷新历史纪录，他们热情服务、责任心强，得到国内外运动员与官员的一致盛赞。通过5．12四川地震和本届奥运会，我们有理由相信，80后和90后们完全能担负起民族的复兴之重任。

北京奥运会，历时16天，共有204个国家或地区参加，打破了38项世界纪录，85项奥运纪录，我想这些纪录一方面体现了运动员的实力，另一方面和北京奥运会为运动员提供了良好的设施和服务是分不开的。中国是举全国之力在办这届奥运会，中国人民用满腔热忱兑现了庄严的承诺：绿色奥运、科技奥运、人文奥运。我们做了一次极为成功的东道主，世界的赞誉，金牌的领先地位，赢得了罗格“一届真正无与伦比的奥运会”的赞辞。

当比赛的画卷合起，当圣火缓缓熄灭，2008北京奥运会划上了圆满的句号。

北京奥运会是一座桥梁、一根纽带，通过北京奥运会，让全世界重新认识了我们，纠正了一些他们长久以往对中国的一些误解与偏见，奥运会让世界认识并了解了中国，这个古老而又崭新的，有着优秀文化传统的国家正以不可阻挡的步伐向前发展迈进。

北京奥运会也给我们留下了太多的东西。奥运会究竟给我们留下了什么？是美丽的场馆，晴朗的天空，抑或是数十块闪闪发光的金牌？这些都不错，可是我想说最重要的是一种文化一种精神，这些不是几块奖牌所能囊括的，它是一个新的文化融合，是一笔丰厚的精神文化遗产，它是人类的宝贵财富，必将久久地激励我们，为实现中华民族的伟大复兴作出新的更大贡献。

I am a volunteer in Saving the Environment Club of my school. Last Saturday, I did some volunteer work with other volunteers.

Some of us put up posters. Some handed out advertisements. Others swept the streets. We also helped clean up the city parks. When we finished all the work, we were very tired but felt very happy at the same time.

Guess what is my volunteer work? That is the whole cleaning his living building stairs aisle.

Learned the lesson just now, it seems to pay attention to methods. I suddenly thought of the sanitation workers in the street when sweeping gently, not too hard. So I also gently swept up, the method was very effective, half an hour I swept the ground. 志愿者，是一个让人羡慕的工作，可以帮助别人，帮助世界。今天，我就当了一个小小志愿者。

猜猜我的志愿者工作是什么?那就是打扫自己居住的整栋楼的楼梯走道。

志愿者工作，开始!我拿着扫把一鼓作气的一下子爬上了这栋楼的顶层。这栋楼一共有六楼，有一百零五个台阶，当我爬上楼顶后，已经累的气喘吁吁，平时我爬四楼就喘气，这六楼就已经要了我的命!

扫地了，我使用了一招龙飞凤舞，尘土在空中飞扬，“咳咳!天哪!呛死人啦!”早知道就不用那么大的力气了，真是累死了，扫了半天都扫不好，唉!干脆不扫了吧!一向娇惯的我又放弃了。突然，我脑袋里闪过一个念头：不能放弃，人家环卫工人扫整条街都没叹气，何况我只扫了一个楼梯走道呢?好，继续干!

吸取了刚才的教训，看来得讲究方法才行。我忽然想到街上的环卫工人在扫地时都轻轻的，没有用太大力气。于是我也轻轻的扫了起来，这个方法果然很有效，半个小时我就把地扫好了。站在一楼，望着我扫后的楼梯走道，心里格外的高兴。

通过今天的志愿者活动，我体会到了环卫工人的辛苦，以后我要多做这样的志愿者活动，把家园变得更美丽。

Jacques Rogge, President, International Olympic Committee

That was spectacular. Tonight, the world was able to join in a magnificent tribute to the athletes and the Olympic spirit. It was an unforgettable and moving ceremony that celebrated the imagination, originality and energy of the Beijing Games.

We saw 204 national delegations march into the beautiful new National Stadium in the age-old tradition of the Games. Millions of people around the world were able to experience the thrill of seeing their heroes in a sea of team colours and national flags.

We witnessed athletes from these 204 countries and territories united in peace in one place. And for the next 16 days, they will be a part of one of the most thrilling competitions in history. As an Olympian, I can tell you that they will carry this memory with them forever.

This iconic stadium is one of the worlds new wonders. It was a fitting setting for an amazing Opening Ceremony, I look forward to an equally exciting and unforgettable 16 days.

Opening ceremonies have always been a way for host cities to welcome the world and for the world to gather and share the Olympic spirit. This ceremony to open the Beijing Olympic Games was a breathtaking culmination of seven years of planning and preparation. The world will remember this for a long time.
