In the United States， the fourth Thursday in November is called Thanksgiving Day。 On that day， Americans give thanks for the blessings they have enjoyed during the year。Thanksgiving Day is usually a family day。 People always celebrate with big dinners and happy reunions。 Pumpkin pie and Indian pudding are traditional Thanksgiving desserts。 Relatives from other cities， students who have been away at school， and many other Americans travel a long distance to spend the holiday at home。

要说我最喜欢的节日，那就是中秋节了。中秋节是我国重要的传统节日，每年农历八月十五，金桂飘香，月儿正圆，是阖家团圆的时候。

在中国古代，人们每到中秋要祭月，祭品便是月饼。而如今，月饼成了中秋节人人必吃的节日点心，也是我的最爱。以前的月饼都是圆圆的，代表圆月，也象征着阖家团圆。现在的月饼可谓是格式各样，有广式的，有苏式的;有甜味的豆沙馅、莲蓉馅，也有咸味的蛋黄馅、火腿馅;形状也有圆有方。我最喜欢咸蛋黄馅的月饼。为了吃月饼，我很期盼着过中秋节呢。

中秋时节，金色的桂花开满枝头，空气中充满沁人的花香。中秋节还有喝桂花酒的习俗。这桂花和桂花酒可是有来历的呢。相传古时候有位卖酒的寡妇，心地善良，在自己很困难的情况下，依然救助了一位瘫痪的汉子和一位砍柴的老人。一阵风给寡妇吹来了一个黄袋子，袋子里都是桂子。原来汉子和老人都是月宫管理桂树的吴刚大仙变的。卖酒寡妇的善行感动了吴刚，他把桂子洒向人间，从此人间才有了桂花和桂花酒。

海上生明月，天涯共此时。中秋的夜晚，皓月当空，我和妈妈一同散步赏月。圆圆的月亮像一块白玉盘，挂在深蓝色的天空中。月光如流水般倾泻而下，大地仿佛笼罩在一片柔纱之中。这时，我想起了在广州工作的爸爸。每当中秋时节，都是他最忙的时候，不能回来和我们团圆。但是我们看着同样的月亮，月宫里的小兔子一定会把我的思念带给他，他此时也一定在想着我和妈妈。

我最喜欢中秋节了。我喜欢美味的月饼，喜欢空气中弥漫的桂花香，更忘不了的是我对爸爸的思念之情!
