英语老师姓丁，家在阳曲，可能地理位置有些偏辟，所以考出来不大容易。本来在另一所中学里教高中，后来考入我校，校长让他教初中。这让他十分失望，有时还在学生中露出了像李白一样怀才不遇的痛苦和颓唐。有时又高兴地告诉我们，我们是他教的第一拔学生!?

可能是刚刚带学生，他有年轻老师的激情，为我们自费复印英语资料，很喜欢在读英语课文时，一边作着奇里古怪的样子，一边发出奇里古怪的声音。有时上课，讲着讲着就讲起了自己的自传，于是常常在自我的唾沫星子中陶醉得难以自拔。上他的课让我感到十分的快乐和高兴，只是因为成绩不好而十分愧对他。不知为什么，我学也学不好，只能在每次考完试以后都躲着他。很亏心很愧疚地面对他对我的微笑，但他从来不说我不好，一次又一次地原谅我。

又一次，语文老师让我们以描写一位老师的神态特征为作业，到了下节课是英语。他进来十分讨好的让我们写他。回家后我写了两篇，有一篇是写他的，到了教室，临交作业时我又拿回了，结果我的另一篇得了第一，上课时他说已看过，可惜不是写他的。到后来越到中考我觉得愧对老师，现在考完了，我却一直想着他，想着欠他的一篇作文。

Mid-autumn day is a special festival in China, which is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. It falls on the 15th day of Augustlunar month every year. Our Chinese will celebrate it on that day. I think there are not too many people can reject the temptation of it. I like this festival very much. I have two reasons.

First of all, Mid-autumn has the deep meaning of reunion. In China, people regard Mid-autumn day as very important, so no matter where they are, they will come back to their family if there is a chance. They don’t like celebrate this festival outside, which will make them feel lonely. Thus, they will go home by all means. Luckily, the government also pays great attention to this traditional festival. There are laws tomake sure people have holidays on that special day. In the other word, mid-autumn festival gives a chance for family get together.

Secondly, every family will prepare a big meal on that day. All the food is delicious. It is good to have a big meal. I think nobody will not interested in delicious food. The mooncake is a necessary decoration forMid-autumn day. It tastes good, too. It is the tradition for a long time. How pleased to enjoy the glorious full moon with mooncake!

This is why I love Mid-autumn festival so much.

However, the mass media are with us for better, for worse, and there is no

turning back.

When memory began for me, my grandfather was past sixty-a great tall man

with thick hair becoming gray. He had black eyes and a straight nose which ended

in a slightly flattened tip. Once he explained seriously to me that he got that

flattened tip as a small child when he fell down and stepped on his nose.

The little marks of laughter at the corners of his eyes were the prodnct of

a kindly and humorous nature. The years of work which had bent his shoulders had

never dulled his humour nor his love of a joke.

Everywhere he went, "Gramp" made friends easily. At the end of half an hour

you felt you had known him all your life. I soon learned that he hated to give

orders , but that when he had to, he tried to make his orders sound like

suggestions.

One July morning, as he was leaving to go to the cornfield, he said :

"Edwin, you can pick up the potatoes in the field today if you want to do that.

" Then he drove away with his horses.

The day passed, and I did not have any desire to pick up potatoes. Evening

came and the potatoes were still in the field. Gramp, dusty and tired, led the

horses to get their drink.

"How many bags of potatoes were there?" Gramp inquired. "I dont know.

"

"How many potatoes did you pick up?"

"I didnt pick any. " "Not any! Why not?"

"You said I could pick, them up if I wanted to. You didnt say I had to.

"

In the next few minutes I learned a lesson I would not forget: when Gramp

said I could if I wanted to, he meant that I should want to.

Gram hated cruelty and injustice. The injustices of history, even those of

a thousand years before, angered her as much as the injustices of her own

day.

She also had a deep love of beauty. When she was almost seventy-five, and

had gone to live with one of her daughters, she spent a delightful morning

washing dishes because, as she said, the beautiful patterns on the dishes gave

her pleasure. The bird, the flowers, the clouds-all that was beautiful around

her- pleased her. She was like the father of the French painter, Millet, who

used to gather grass and show it to his son , saying , "See how beautif ul this

is ! "

In a pioneer society it is the harder qualities of mind and character that

are of value. The softer virtues are considered unnecessary. Men and women

struggling daily to earn a living are unable, even for a moment, to forget the

business of preserving their lives. Only unusual people, like my grandparents,

manage to keep the softer qualities in a world of daily struggle.

Such were the two people with whom I spent the months from June to

September in the wonderful days of summer and youth.

节日，如同一朵朵快乐之花，绽放在每个人的心中;节日，如同五光十色的焰火，把每个人的心照亮。

今天，是中秋，我刚到老家，就和爸爸、哥哥还有小伙伴们一起下河，想把螃蟹杀个片甲不留。

我们打着手电筒，缓缓地靠着河边走。突然，一只凶猛的“蟹王”张牙舞爪地逼向我们。我们小心翼翼地后退。河水在我们的脚步之下浑浊起来。这时，老奸巨猾的螃蟹如同幽灵一般钻进浑水里。我们只好浑水摸鱼，而它却如鱼得水一般，不见踪影了。“啊!哎呀!”小东大叫一声栽在水里。哥哥“魔高一丈，道高一尺”手一伸一缩，狡猾的螃蟹再也动弹不得了。

我们嫉妒极了，小东尤为不服，一路上大吵大闹：“我要报仇雪耻!”话音未落，他的小脚丫又遭殃了。“啊!”惨叫声划破了山谷的宁静，吵闹的蛐蛐顿时鸦雀无声。小东手脚并用，搜罗罪魁祸首。哎，我瞟到那只螃蟹了，我要先下手为强了，捉住它了。哈，那家伙吐着泡沫，像在抗议似的。我逗了逗它：“你小子，认命吧!”天有不测风云，螃蟹一挣，落入水中，灵活地钻入水中。我伸手一抓，不幸被暗算了，于是发出如同杀猪般的嚎叫。就在大家心灰意冷时，螃蟹爬出洞口呼吸，又被我们抓住了――今晚，螃蟹和月饼一起成了我们赏月的美食。

好快乐的中秋节呀!

今年的中秋节可真热闹呀，我们家没有一个人是闲着的，全都忙个不停。

吃过晚饭，我们全家来到了阳台上静静地等着月亮出来，过了许久，天边隐隐出现了一团淡黄色的云，那团云的周围都被染成淡灰色，我把眼睛睁得大大的，仿佛眨一下这美丽的景色就没了，那道光最后越来越亮，连她旁边淡灰色的云朵都被染成紫微微了。过了一会儿，月亮露出了半边脸，一片红云暖暖地飘了过来，挡住了月亮，月亮就像一个害羞的小姑娘，又过了一会儿，那朵红云好像不想给月亮当被子了，就悄悄飘走了，这时的月亮正在云朵里挣扎着，她在一点一点地往上升，几分钟过去了，月亮最后奋力一跃，终于冲破了云朵的阻拦，升上了天空。瞧，她多像一个圆圆的大金盘呀!那一刻，全城欢呼声音彼此起伏，趁着这个时候，妈妈拿出了事先准备好的月饼，我们一边吃月饼，一边赏月，那可真叫享受。过了许久，月亮悄悄地把云朵拉了过来继续睡大觉了，这时城市一下暗淡了许多。

这个中秋节我不光吃了月饼，还和小伙伴们玩了月亮的游戏，这个游戏叫：“跳月光”，游戏规则是：在一分钟内单脚跳到十处有月光的地方，先跳完的人就是获胜者，三局两胜制。游戏开始了，第一局，小伙伴们飞一样地到处乱跳，结果是曼曼获胜;第二局，在我的玩具枪响声下，小伙伴们像箭一样跳了出去，可能是因为曼曼嬴了一局，所以很多人都在不停地看别人，自己却慢了下来，所以第二局还是曼曼嬴了，她得了冠军，我给了她一个月饼做奖品。

我们背了与月亮有关的诗句，听了月亮的故事和传说，做了月亮的小饼干。

这次中秋节可真令我难忘啊!

the moon also is fine deeds together, displays the fruits and melons, the moon

cake in the home, again adds the children lantern, is warm, harmonious .

celebration is more common, we suggested hangs up the lantern in the public

place, at the same time sponsors plays lantern-riddles and so on the

activity.

暑假期间我经常去看望我的爷爷奶奶，他们都已经70岁了，住在乡下。夏天的乡下非常漂亮，我可以在那里做很多有趣的事情。我习惯一大清早起床，呼吸新鲜空气，聆听鸟儿欢唱，欣赏绿树红花和门前的小河。我还喜欢跟伙伴们一起钓鱼。夜幕降临时，我就坐在树下，听奶奶讲动听的故事。我也会给她讲一些城里的新鲜事。每次该回城时，我总是恋恋不舍。我确实喜欢乡下的生活。

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during my summer vacation.They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. Summer view of the countryside is very beautiful. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning, breathing the fresh air,listening to the birds singing, and enjoying the green trees, red flowers and the river. I like fishing with my friends. When night comes, I sit under the tree with my grandma, listening to her telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. Many people, sometimes myself included, tend to judge a person by his

appearances.

I was afraid of my uncle who has a scared tattoo on his arm till my mother

told me a “story”. When I was a three-year-old naught boy, I always ran around

the neighborhood with my toy saber. Unfortunately, one day I hit a wild dog by

accident. The dog became crazy and tried to bite me. It was that time my uncle

appeared and protected me with his strong arm. However, this accident left a

scar on his arm. My uncle went to get a tattoo in order to cover up the scars.

From that moment, he is my hero in stead of a bad looking uncle.

So we need to go beyond peoples looks and focus on more internal spirits

in order to truly judge a person.
