我们住在美丽的地球上，可惜地球每天都饱受着被各种臭气、化学物品、毒汁、腐尸、汽车尾气、生活垃圾、工厂垃圾等等肮脏污染，使我们可爱的地球逐渐退化。所以保护环境是每个人义不容辞的责任。

花草树木是人类的天然氧气“制造厂”。但人们乱砍乱伐，使大自然的生态平衡遭到了破坏;沙丘吞噬了万顷良田;洪水冲毁可我们可爱的家园。无情的杂物把我们清澈的河水变得浑浊。茂密的森林变得稀疏杂乱，蔚蓝的天空变得灰暗，碧绿的青山变得光秃。泥石流、沙尘暴、水灾……这些灾害，都是由肮脏的环境造成的。所以我们更应该保护环境。

如何才能保护环境呢?首先，不能乱扔垃圾，看到垃圾就捡，是环境变得整洁优美。其次，不要任意践踏花草树木。要多植树，多种花草。

电，给我们带来各种便利，特别是给我们带来了光明，照亮了五彩缤纷的世界。但是我们要节约用电，因为电大多是烧煤产生的。节约用电就是节约用煤，少排废气，而在我国储藏的煤只够开采一百多年了!大家想想，一百多年以后，我们的子孙后代该怎么办?所以我们要节约用电，平时的照明灯，尽可能用节能灯。

保护环境，人人有责。让我们从我做起，从现在做起，从身边的点点滴滴做起。

地球是我们人类生存的地方。我们应该爱护环境，保护我们共同的家园。

我曾看到这样的一篇文章：

鸟爸爸鸟妈妈、鸟宝宝和其它小动物原本一起生活在一片安静祥和的森林里，和睦相处，非常幸福。

但是这原本安静的快乐生活被打碎了。人类不断地砍伐树木，他们手里提着电锯。在“吱吱”的噪音里，一棵棵参天大树纷纷倒下了，小动物们只好弃家而逃。

终于，划木工准备砍伐鸟妈妈居住的那棵大树。这时，鸟妈妈正在孵蛋。鸟爸爸围着划木工拼命地又是啄又是叫，百般阻扰，希望能阻止他们不要破坏自己可爱的家，好让鸟妈妈孵化成功。但是，无情的划木工将鸟爸爸打死了。鸟妈妈很难过，带着鸟宝宝逃出了森林。

我看儿童系列电视剧《十二楼的流星雨》有一集是关于保护环境的，星儿（蔡星儿）还有夏雨、刘流他们个个把服装和帽子搞得很奇怪。星儿头上戴着黄帽子，身上披着紫披风；夏雨戴着黑眼镜，身上的穿着很奇怪；刘流呢？更搞笑了，他呀，头上扎个黄色蝴蝶结，身上也披着一件黄色的披风，很好玩。他们看见他们小区的大人们可不爱护环境了，他们决定对大人们做一点小惩罚。他们三个好朋友，先对一个乱扔香蕉皮的阿姨做惩罚，阿姨扔了香蕉皮就走了，正巧阿姨拎着一个篮子，他们就把香蕉皮悄悄地放进她拎的篮子里。阿姨走了后，星儿的小叔又出现了，他又乱扔垃圾，星儿和奶奶早就说了很多遍可是小叔还是不听，这次又在乱扔垃圾，小伙伴们看见了，他们决定对他进行惩罚，他们三个每人拿来一个喷水壶，对着小叔喷水，小叔不一会儿就变成了“落汤鸡”看他下次还敢不敢再乱扔垃圾了。

我觉得，奥运会要来了，我们应该为奥运会做一点力所能及的小事，保护我们的环境，保护整个地球，为绿色奥运做一点事情。

最近我读了《假如地球剩下三天的寿命》这篇文章感受很多。这篇作文讲述的是：地球已只剩下三天的寿命。我十分惊慌，平时连昆虫都害怕的我现在却要面对死亡的来临，非常害怕。到这时，我才知道世上有许多美好的东西，但我一直没有发觉。在这三天里我接触了许多事物，渐渐地变得坚强起来。三天已经过去了，面对死亡的来临，我却一滴眼泪也没有掉下来。

从这篇作文中我懂得了世界是美好的，有许多美丽的事物。有时虽然有一些不如意，可这也是一种体验，一种十分难得的体验。如果当自己的生命将要结束时，自己想体验也体验不到了。

这篇作文让我认识到了生命是极可贵的。每当我看到一则则新闻说有些大学生因受不了学习带来的压力，自杀或者是离家出走时，我的心总是十分的痛。虽然我知道他们的学习十分苦，但也不应该自杀呀！他也应该想一想自己的未来，自己幸福的未来，绝不可以这样轻易放弃自己的生命。

这一篇作文还让我知道：自己应该吃得住苦，经得住磨练。只有吃得住苦，经得住磨练才能让自己变得更坚强，学习成绩也一定能够更好。当同学们羡慕一个个伟大的人物时，可曾想过这些伟人，他曾经流过多少汗，经过了多少次磨练才获得了这一个个令人为之赞叹的成果呀！

读着，读着，我不禁想到了我们人类共同的家园——地球。我们的科技也许比以前发达了，也许我们的吃、穿、住、行比以前好了许多，但你可曾想过，在我们正在发展的同时，地球有没有衰老。看，从前的小溪已不存在了，取而代之的是一条条让人见了就恶心的臭水沟；以前的空气十分新鲜，可现在的空气与以往相比根本就是天差地别呀......

让我们珍惜生命，爱护地球，做一个活得有价值的人吧。

One day, I went with the group to a nearby river. We wanted to check if it was clean. We did many scientific tests to see if the river was healthy. Surprisingly, it was! We still, though, took any rubbish we could find out of the river.We wanted to make sure fish could live there happily.

Recently, I helped the group plant flowers at our school. Were hoping the flowers will bloom this spring and make the school look beautiful. How did we pay for all the plants? We made T-shirts and sold them to our friends! Were still got some money left from selling the T-shirts. We hope to use it to buy some recycling bins for the school.
