所罗门的选择

上帝让所罗门从金钱、权力、智慧中选择一样，所罗门毫不犹豫地选择了智慧。他认为，金钱不是万能的，金钱不能买来智慧，但是智慧却可以产生金钱。于是，他凭着智慧来生产、经商，使自己家的财产富可敌国。同时他又乐善好施，急公好义，深得民心。当老国王因病去世时，国内的百姓都推举所罗门做希伯来人的国王。他凭着智慧使人民安居乐业，使得他在位的时期成了希伯来历史上最辉煌的时期。
