从小到大，无论我需要关于学习方面的任何东西，老爸都会二话不说就给我买。因此我从小到大的书籍也数不胜数，从此以后我对书籍的需求和对书籍的渴望也越来越大。书多得都放不下了，床下面，桌子上面，柜子里面到处都是我的宝物。现在就连床也成了我的“战场”。床宽一米，床的一半都让我来存放书籍。就因为这事惹得老妈大发雷霆，害得我只能转移阵地，也平息了一场战火。

星期天早晨，老妈要去商场买东西，把我也拖下了水。老妈去商场无非就是买化妆品、衣服之类的，而且和别人一讲价就是老半天，浪费我的宝贵时间。老妈我多想对您说∶“时间就是性命，无端的空耗别人的无时间，其实是无异于谋财害命的。”别再执迷不悟了!老妈也了解我的脾性，所以并没有让我和他一起逛商场，而是下了公交车，给了我二十元钱，让我自己去玩。以前吝啬的老妈今日怎么变得如此阔绰了，难道真的醒悟了吗?管他三七二十一呢，马上接过钱，飞奔到属于我的“天堂”—书店。天色逐渐昏暗，应该回家了，可是这本书还没看完，如果下次再来看的话，过了这村可就没这店了。再看一下价钱—二十三元，这可是我的路费呀，是应该买，还是不买呢?我犹豫不决，但又经过一阵思想斗争最终决定买。虽然失去了路费，还要走回家去，但我心中还是很高兴。我与夕阳为伴，与书为友，散步回家，这一切多么有诗情画意啊!

读书使我感受到知识的力量，令我明白许多道理，但在这途中也有许多小插曲，是我们却步，同时只是也激励我前进，让我领略到知识带给人们震撼人心的力量。
