我认为，生病是一件极好的事。因为滴着水，我就有时间看书了。上四年级时，我感冒发烧了好几天，一连一个星期都没有去学校。这个时候是我最快乐，也是最难熬的时光。难熬是因为我最害怕扎针，再一点，由于吊着点滴，我就只能把书放在腿上，用扎着针的右手按着书，左手翻页，这时候我往往会觉得脖子酸痛难忍。快乐，是因为我终于可以专心地看我最喜爱的小说了。

这个暑假我“荣幸”的被老师选了当图书管理员，我也只有硬着头皮去冲锋了。来到图书馆，哇!好多读书，好漂亮，在这里东转西转，大家都在看书，我也不好意思，就拿了一本书，坐上了椅子，在这里看书真舒服，这个期间妈妈居然来巡视了，那时没人来，我也只好拿着一本《格列佛游记》装样子，妈妈一看高兴地说：“儿子真乖：”我想：还不是给你装样子。看着看着突然我觉得书的内容哈精彩，真吸引人眼球，我看了下去，更精彩了，我第一次觉得书这么好看，看着看着，就看入迷了。更妙的是一天同学们正在讨论《格列佛游记》有的人茫然不知，而我滔滔不绝地讲起，大家投来羡慕的目光，真让人想说这句名言“开卷有益”。

伟人说过“书是人类进步的阶梯”我今天就踏上了这个阶梯，我在其中收获了快乐，我能开着它越走越远，越走越高。

大作家高尔基曾经说过这样一句话：“书是人类进步的阶梯。”“他其实说出了这样一个道理：人类要努力地攀登，攀登书籍的阶梯。而书籍做成的阶梯上面，是一座金碧辉煌的知识宫殿，所以，我们一定要努力地去攀登，去汲取。

人类创造的知识财富，如同浩瀚的海洋，博大精深。人们常把小学、中学、大学阶段的学习形容为在“书山“上攀登，在“学海“中遨游。所以，我们应该多读书，用书来净化心灵，用书中的知识充实自己。

在我们的生活中，如果总是太过于被动地去读书，往往是体会不到读书的乐趣的。捧一纸书香，打开一点温存的光，就那么静静地看着文字随着时间的舞步从你眼前滑过……这时，你就会感觉到，读书是一件多么让人快乐的事情!读书是一种心情，那一抹书香带来的舒坦是最好的心理试剂。去读书吧，你一定会有更多的发现。

多读书，还应读好书。读书要应有个选择性，对书本中的知识也要有选择的采纳，就是所谓取其精华。

本文的精彩之处在于对人物的细致且精湛的描写。老舍笔下的主人公祥子在文章的开头是一个朴实善良，坚忍不屈的一个人力车夫，他认为只要努力就能有回报。但在旧社会腐败的环境下，最终开始使他渐渐地变得软弱，变得像那些“普通人”一样吃喝嫖赌。当我们看完全文再回头看看，不经惊讶人的堕落竟是如此迅速，旧社会的可怕之处就在这里。

莎士比亚曾经说过：“书籍是全世界的营养品。生活里没有书籍，就好象大地没有阳光；智慧里没有书籍，就好象鸟儿没有翅膀。”人，不能离开书，更不能离开读书。

有书陪伴的日子，你感到乏味？感到无趣？还是精神振奋？我想，棉对书籍的我们，应该好好去读一读，好好的品位书中所含的韵味、真理……对于渴求知识的目光，面对书籍，一定是如饥似渴的。读书，能使我们心情愉悦，给生活增添光彩，给智慧插上翅膀。

当你心情低落时，为何不打开久违的书本，让它来安抚你弱小的身躯，让它来慰问你失落的心灵，让它来包扎你受伤的伤口，当真正感觉到书中的快乐时，你的伤口，即将愈合，留下完美的弧线，不会煞它风景。这是你莫大的快乐。

当你感到生活十分乏味时，为何不打开你久违的书本，重新拾起心灵的空白；重新拾起做人的快乐，重新拾起生活的光芒。让读书来填充你心灵的空白，让读书来寻找你做人的快乐；让读书来放射你生活的光芒。当读书的光芒真正照射着你的心时，这是你莫大的快乐。

当你感觉智力低下时，为何不打开你久违的书本。在读书中，打开智慧的钥匙，打开科技的大门，打开生活的道路，为你的智慧插上一双翅膀，让它高飞，那时的你，找到了智慧的药方，这是你莫大的快乐。
