世纪老人巴金曾指出，人不能仅为了米而活着。诚然，我们也不能仅为了考试而学习，不能“两耳不闻窗外事，一心只读圣贤书”，不能成为一个“高分低能”的读书人。要知道，不懂得生活情趣的人永远是残缺的人，因为他们只看到了世界的一部分。而课外阅读恰恰为我们开启了一扇了解社会的窗口，且潜默化地完善我们的思想。更加难得的是课外阅读对我们的写作也很有帮助。朋友们，如果你还在题海中漫游，那么不妨每天抽出20分钟来翻一翻课外书籍，你会发现，你的文学功底和逻辑思维能力、表达能力会越来越强。

读书破万卷，下笔如有神”，“读万卷书，行万里路”，我读书就像饥饿的人扑在面包上……这些都是赞扬、诠释书的重要和伟大。没错，古往今来，书在我们的生活中都是非常重要的。

作为学生的我们，最应该多读书，品味书并且可供我们读书的地方时间也很多，在最近我在家里就读了一些书，虽然我不记得那书的名字，但那书的内容深深地印在了我的脑海中，那本书的作者满怀激情地勾勒出文章的主旨，文笔的优美，让人很容易地读出作者的感受，作者运用多种修辞方法，形象生动地诠释出了全文。这本书也深深地影响着我，教育着我，我也读出了书的无穷魅力，书的风彩，让我也深深地爱上了书。

生活中没有书，就像鱼儿没有了水;生活中没有书，就像植物没有了阳光;生活中没有书，就像鸟儿没有了天空……没错，书就是如此的重要，书就是如此的神圣，书就是如此的伟大!

The ancient tradition of famous people, such as respect, cherish the time, fools, etc., were later recorded in the book, the nature, read it, understand the truth, can be used, will become a moral person.

Whether Chinese or foreign, have been a lot of celebrities, and the story of these celebrities, their diligence, hard work, also are weaved.

古人云：“读书学礼。”读书的另一个好处呢，就是为了培养人们品德高尚，知书达礼。

英国培根曾说：“书籍是在时代的波涛中航行的思想之船，它以小心翼翼把珍贵的货物送给一代又一代。”古代名人们的优良传统思想，如敬老爱幼、珍惜时间、不耻下问等，都被后人记载在书中，自然，读了它，领悟其中的道理，能应用，就将成为一个道德高尚的人。

不管是中国还是外国，都出过不少名人，而这些名人的故事，他们的勤奋、刻苦，也都编成了是。

Olympic Games hold every four years and I like to watch the matches so

much. People always pay much attention to the champions, while for me, the

inspiring players are easier to catch my attention. Though some players do not

get the prize, they deserve applause as the champions have. I remembered that in

the Beijing Olympics, in women’s 100-meter-race, a girl looked different from

other athletes, because she worn scarf and was from Afghanistan. She lagged much

behind other athletes, but she still got the intense applause. She showed to the

world that Afghan women could join this big event. Her insistence helped her to

come to the world stage.

历史的车轮滚滚而过，而那些时光也如白驹过隙，倏忽不见。唯有时光陶冶出的一本本书，散发着古老的芬芳。

书中的人物大多鲜明，或温婉或泼辣，或体弱或矮健，都是一幅幅动人的画卷，吐露着那个时代下的悲欢离合。

初读《红楼梦》，便为那个如水的女子倾心，他人皆笑她痴，但我只可怜那薄命的身子载不住她柔情似水的灵魂，而身世的浮沉，也让她多添了几分眼泪，“花谢花飞花满天，红消香断有谁怜”下，是她对封建的控诉与精神的追求。

这样的女子，让我倾心，也让我喜悦。虽然身世凄凉，但那份精神与情怀却让我由衷的赞美。

还有同样美丽的女子，《简。爱》这部著作，犹如品过的香茗，仍在我心头萦绕留香。她对旧制的抵制，对爱情的美好追求，对尊严的执着，是那么令人动容。而她对尊严，平等的呼吁，也无疑成为了时代的伟大力量和坚定呼声：“尽管我贫穷，卑微，不美丽，但当我们的灵魂穿越坟墓，到达上帝的脚边时，我们都是平等的——本来就如此。”

这样的力量，令人折服，也深深地打动了我，给予我精神力量，还有那心灵的愉悦快乐。

还有《飘》，无论是斯佳丽，还是白瑞德，均让我为之倾心。他们是时代的逆反者，同时也是对命运的抗争者。他们的经历与思想，多么值得令人欢呼啊！而结局，则半含凄凉的萦绕在未来的道路上，虽然有如迷雾，但是却包含了对未来的希望，还有对生命，对土地的赞歌。

读书，读人，读心。读悲欢离合，读时代凯歌。但于我而言，无论或喜或悲，都犹如一捧清凉甜美的水，滋润在我的心间，而那些荡气回肠的文字，跌宕起伏的情节，亦让我高呼，让我快乐。读书是我的快乐之源，不断输送着快乐，不断充实滋润我的心。

我徜徉在书海中，静静吮吸书籍的芳香，品味历史的醇厚。体味快乐，走向我的未来，而书则散发光芒，照耀在我前行的道路上。

“书中自有黄金屋。”书本中的知识是无穷无尽的，读书是为了更好地获取更多知识，开阔自己的视野，帮助自己创造，实现自己的人生目标。三国时的吕蒙从小就没机会读书，后来身经百战，升为郎中。有一回吴王孙权对他说：“你现在都掌权管事了，要好好学习，求得进步啊。”吕蒙听了孙权的劝告，努力学习，进步好快。以至于与鲁肃见面时，鲁肃感慨地说：“士别三日，当刮目相看，你已不是当年在吴下的吕蒙了。”

读书最重要的不是数量，而是质量。一本好书能使一个人思想精密，见解精辟，道德高尚，从而塑造自己的性格，那些内容粗糙的“劣质品”完全可以省略不读。在这一方面，著名作家巴金就是一个典范。他的读书方法十分奇特，因为他是在没有书本的情况下进行的。

读书而无书的确算得天下一奇了，这到底是怎么回事呢?巴金说：“我第二次住院治疗，每天午睡不到一小时，就下床坐在小沙发上，等候护士同志两点钟来量体温。我坐着，一动也不动，但没有打瞌睡。我的脑子不肯休息。它在回忆我过去读过的一些书，一些作品，好像它想在我的记忆力完全衰退之前，保留下一点美好的东西。”

“活到老学到老.”一个人之所以能够不断提高，与他始终如一的学习是密不可分的。学习可以有很多方法，但是这种始终如一的学习态度是每个人都应该具备的。庄子说：“吾生有涯，而知无涯。”一个人活得再长也总有死去的一天，但知识的海洋却永远不停得奔流着。坚持学习让人始终立于不败之地，但若不能不断补充知识积累知识，便会被失当的步伐所抛弃。著名作家歌德认为：谁落后于时代，必将承受那个时代所有的痛苦。在21世纪这个知识爆炸的年代里若不能不断供给自己新的知识，将会被时代所淘汰。

“史鉴使人明智;诗歌使人巧慧;数学使人精细;博物使人深沉;理论之学使人庄重;修辞与逻辑使人善辨。”可见，不同的阅读能开发人类不同的信纸，增长不同方面的知识。因此，我们更应该发奋勤读， 让书成为我们生命飞翔的羽翼!

My best friend is Li Ming. We are in the same class.

He is as old as me, but he is taller and stronger than me. Both of us have black eyes and black hair, but his hair is shorter than mine.

As for hobbies, we have something in common  in some ways. I like the friends who have the same hobbies with me. Both of us like sports. We often exercises together after school. But he is more outgoing and better at sports than me. Besides, collecting stamps is our same hobby, too. We often exchange our stamps with each other.

About the learning, I think I’m a little smarter than him. Most of my subjects are better than his, so I often help him with his study.
